Having a unit on the 1st floor proved to be easy to get items in and out of the condo and to the beach. The boardwalk was also short, making beach access easier than any other beach stay I've have had before. My teens absolutely loved the area too with shopping and dining right out of the condo

We enjoyed every second of the week even though weather was iffy at times... we made the most of it! Nothing id really change pr that can be really changed. We would have liked to grill out because we arent much into sharing a grill but we made it to several nearby restaurants. Maybe a warmer pool like some other hotel/condos. The access to the beach and use of the washer/dryer was great! The laundry basket needs updated lol but we made it work when we had to. Some of the outlets didnt work it seemed. The beds were great as the shower and other amenities. The view we had was great and overall we enjoyed Island Shores!

If your main goal is to go to the beach and pool, this condo is perfect! It’s a first-floor unit right next to the pool. It made going to and from the beach super easy because we didn’t have to wait for elevators or climb stairs (big plus!). The unit is a little on the small side. We had three people in the condo and it didn’t impact our stay but we did shift the dining table to give us a little more room to walk around. Overall it was a great stay and super convenient. Thank you for having us!

We enjoyed our stay very much. We loved the location, It was decorated just like the pictures and the access to the beach was perfect! We would stay here again on our next visit to Gulf Shores. The only tip I could give is to make sure you have extra toilet paper and paper towels because the one set they provide is not enough and also maybe bring some sort of cleaner since there was nothing there to wipe stuff down with.

Loves the room, there were items in every door and drawer and behind things that we could use on the beach or the pool. It was homey and comfortable, nice decorations. Soft blankets. Just wish the washer and dryer was in each room and there were some outside facility to use restroom or wash up.

Great place. Only problem I had was the washer and dryer. Listing made it sound like it was in the condo. Coin machine didn’t work, the credit card part wouldn’t work. Bring your own quarters! Loved the readily available ice( pay with card)

The couch and 2 chairs were very dirty we didn't even sit in the chairs because they were so dirty and it is false advertising on the condo having a washer and dryer because it did not have it's own. They were in a room where you enter the beach plus you had to pay foe both. Such an inconvenience for as much as you pay to stay here.

Disgusting! Rust in freezer, door hinges and on clothes bars. Almost all shelves on door were gone. Table & chair legs were terribly scuffed! Broken dresser drawer and shelf. A stained towel. Dishwasher door is broken. Hardly any cookware with covers that don’t fit! Called VACASA local rep and got NO reply. We went to their office and nobody was there who could help. The lady from housekeeping said she’s contact a rep & that he’s call. He did not!! YOU need to check places out!! We deserve a partial refund!!
Disgusting! Rust in freezer, door hinges and on clothes bars. Almost all shelves on door were gone. Table & chair legs were terribly scuffed! Broken dresser drawer and shelf. A stained towel. This Orange Beach, Alabama condo was a great choice. The best feature was the balcony and enjoying the beach views and the sounds of the ocean. The unit was supplied with everything we needed. The unit cleanliness was good except for I feel the floors could’ve been cleaner. The master bed and the queen size bed are a little on the softer side of comfort, and the twin size beds are a little firmer. We would stay at this condo again. It was a good fit for everyone in our party.

We wanted a place on the beach. Basically, that’s all we got. The condo doesn’t have anything “extra”. We had one towel for each guest, one garbage bag in the kitchen, one travel size bar of soap, travel size shampoo and conditioner, one pan, one roll of paper towels… you get the idea. No coffee, no coffee filters, no salt, no pepper, no extras. You’ll need to go to the store if you want all that. You’re getting a great view and friendly “on point” security. We saw them often. A/C works great and the patio is a great feature. Great location of restaurants, stores, and the beach. Dishes were still in the washer from the last guest. Floors weren’t very well swept, as we found hair all over. Furniture and decor is very out dated. Mattresses were comfy. Overall you’re paying for the location. Hotels give you more amenities. But we liked a less populated area.

Island Shores 252 was very clean on arrival. The scene from the balcony was beautiful. Everything worked as it should. The only small problem we had was figuring out the tv remote in the bedroom, but once we figured it out, my husband was a happy man!

Everything was nice and exactly how it was described. Another water hose at the beach access would be nice as well as rinsed off routinely. The walkways stayed sandy all the time with a thick layer of sand. Overall great location and spot. Will definitely try to stay there again.

Great condo, plenty of room for 4 adults. Great location, in the middle of all shopping and restaurants and easy to get to Orange Beach. Short walk to the beach from the condo. We will be back and hope to stay here again!

We hadn't been back to the beach in 8 years and in Gulf Shores since 2010. You could WALK to literally any of the famous places you hear about, beach stores, etc. The first floor unit was incredibly conveninent, HOWEVER, do want to tell you the view from your balcony is 80% sand dunes. That was really my only regret. Wish I had a higher level unit to enjoy the view on the balcony.

This was perfect for us. It’s right on the beach and the right size for our family of 6. The only thing we had an issue with was the master bedroom needed better blinds and some curtains for better privacy. Other than that minor thing: perfect!!!

Loved the location and the convenience of this place! Listing pictures are out of date. The countertops and flooring have been updated. And the glass out the balcony is sliding glass doors. Beach outside the condo was perfect!

No power in front and dining room outlets. No tv in that room for two days. Breaker tripped had to have electrician fix it. Had a huge fan an dehumidifier and the drain hose going into bathroom so we couldn’t close the door probably open a half inch. The unit was nice. I had a good time in gulf shores…..just Unit problems made it pretty uncomfortable for three days

The condo was right on the beach which was exactly what we wanted. We had a few problems that were quickly handled by the property owners. They immediately responded when we had questions. The condo was well furnished and nicely decorated. The one downfall was that we had a first floor condo so our view of the beach was mostly blocked by the big sand dunes. Other than that. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

Great place. Only problem I had was the washer and dryer. Listing made it sound like it was in the condo. Coin machine didn’t work, the credit card part wouldn’t work. Bring your own quarters! Loved the readily available ice( pay with card)

We wanted a place on the beach. Basically, that’s all we got. The condo doesn’t have anything “extra”. We had one towel for each guest, one garbage bag in the kitchen, one travel size bar of soap, travel size shampoo and conditioner, one pan, one roll of paper towels… you get the idea. No coffee, no coffee filters, no salt, no pepper, no extras. You’ll need to go to the store if you want all that. You’re getting a great view and friendly “on point” security. We saw them often. A/C works great and the patio is a great feature. Great location of restaurants, stores, and the beach. Dishes were still in the washer from the last guest. Floors weren’t very well swept, as we found hair all over. Furniture and decor is very out dated. Mattresses were comfy. Overall you’re paying for the location. Hotels give you more amenities. But we liked a less populated area.

Great condo, plenty of room for 4 adults. Great location, in the middle of all shopping and restaurants and easy to get to Orange Beach. Short walk to the beach from the condo. We will be back and hope to stay here again!

Having a unit on the 1st floor proved to be easy to get items in and out of the condo and to the beach. The boardwalk was also short, making beach access easier than any other beach stay I've have had before. My teens absolutely loved the area too with shopping and dining right out of the condo

We hadn't been back to the beach in 8 years and in Gulf Shores since 2010. You could WALK to literally any of the famous places you hear about, beach stores, etc. The first floor unit was incredibly conveninent, HOWEVER, do want to tell you the view from your balcony is 80% sand dunes. That was really my only regret. Wish I had a higher level unit to enjoy the view on the balcony.

This was perfect for us. It’s right on the beach and the right size for our family of 6. The only thing we had an issue with was the master bedroom needed better blinds and some curtains for better privacy. Other than that minor thing: perfect!!!

If your main goal is to go to the beach and pool, this condo is perfect! It’s a first-floor unit right next to the pool. It made going to and from the beach super easy because we didn’t have to wait for elevators or climb stairs (big plus!). The unit is a little on the small side. We had three people in the condo and it didn’t impact our stay but we did shift the dining table to give us a little more room to walk around. Overall it was a great stay and super convenient. Thank you for having us!

We enjoyed our stay very much. We loved the location, It was decorated just like the pictures and the access to the beach was perfect! We would stay here again on our next visit to Gulf Shores. The only tip I could give is to make sure you have extra toilet paper and paper towels because the one set they provide is not enough and also maybe bring some sort of cleaner since there was nothing there to wipe stuff down with.

Loved the location and the convenience of this place! Listing pictures are out of date. The countertops and flooring have been updated. And the glass out the balcony is sliding glass doors. Beach outside the condo was perfect!

Everything was nice and exactly how it was described. Another water hose at the beach access would be nice as well as rinsed off routinely. The walkways stayed sandy all the time with a thick layer of sand. Overall great location and spot. Will definitely try to stay there again.
