Service was wonderful - especially at Christy's sports (which gives a discount to those staying at GTL). Ski-in/out property on peak 9 which is IMO the best peak at Breck. Plenty of hot tub space!

This is a really beautiful and expansive property with lots of amenities. We particularly liked that the hotel has two pools and multiple hot tubs. The hotel also has movie theater rooms that you can reserve for free. During our stay, there was a hotel-wide outage of the TV channels. The hotel texted all guests (if you were opted into texts) about the outage with updates. They streamed football games at the on-site restaurant and offered everyone a free DVD rental.

Free shuttle service was a real bonus. Location was excellent to ski area and downtown. Beautiful hot tub/pool areas. Great robes were provided for all guests to wear as a coverup when heading to the pool.

EXCELLENT place to stay if you're staying at Breckenridge! You can ski in & ski out from the property, plus they have complimentary "ski lockers" to keep your gear in (no need to leave outside / in your room / in your car). Check in was super friendly & easy. Room was terriffic - our 1BR had a fantastic well-stocked kitchen and plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 kids. Awesome fitness center with dumbbells, machines, and plenty of cardio. The indoor/outdoor pool was REALLY nice and well cleaned, warmed, and maintained. Onsite bar/restaurant was great. Kids even enjoyed the little arcade. We had plenty of texts from the front desk about extras like Santa being in the Lobby on Christmas Eve. ALSO - the free shuttle was great - we finished the day once on a different slope, but were able to quickly and easily ride back in the hotel's shuttle fan back to the hotel. I highly recommend.

Beautiful property off the main path of Breckinridge. The shuttle service was very easy to use and we never waited more than 10 minutes for it to pick us up. The 2 pools were great and it had a couple hot tubs. The front staff was helpful and friendly. We loved our room and the comfortable beds. My only complaint was charging for the small cup of coffee in the lobby. Most resorts I’ve stayed at offered free coffee in the lobby. A coffee shop at the resort would truly be beneficial. I would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel! Room is simple (queen bed and sofa bed) with enough space for 2 adults and 2 kids, clean and with a convenient kitchenette. After a ski day, a delicious pool and whirpool waiting for us to relax. Family room with an arcade and movie rooms. Restaurant, Boots, has great staff and service. Food is prepared quikly, delicious food. Hotel also has a shuttle, very convenient! It left us just in our lifts. Also has other stops, very consistent and quick service, it was a must in our stay. The parking is covered which is also very convenient for snowy days. Definitely recommend it!

Absolutely loved Grand Timber Lodge! Everything was perfect. The suite was amazing, with a nice warm fireplace, kitchen and even a washer and dryer! Very clean, well kept and the nicest amenity was the shuttle to main street which came every 10 minutes so I never had to use the car. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay. The room was amazing, very spacious with everything you might need. Lovely view from the balcony and a fireplace! The staff was attentive and polite, we could have our own theater in the evening for movie watching, the pools and hot tubs were divine! We also appreciated the free shuttle, the drivers were very kind. Awesome place, we hope to be back soon!

Staff was friendly, professional and pleasant to deal with. Easy access to walk or shuttle downtown. Very quiet and peaceful. Rooms are spacious and were clean. Only issue was we were told we would have house keeping each day and verified that was correct. We had to ask them to come one day and then another day they did not clean at all. It was late we we returned and found out. But that is not a deal killer. We have stayed here before and definitely will again.

This was my 4th stay at gtl. It’s usually pretty quiet the week I stay, but that makes sense as school is back in session. The rooms are perfect for comfort and a very nice kitchen.

When we arrived the heat didn’t work in the living room or bedroom. Despite being after 8pm Grand Timber Lodge sent someone with a temporary fix. They came back the next day and fixed the heat permanently. A few minor other things were broken such as lock between bathroom doors and the plugs for the tv a former guest had pushed in / broken. Unit was clean on surface but could have used a deep clean. Love having Christy’s and the Boot restaurant right on site. The shuttle bus is fabulous. Never need to drive. Easy access to Base 9 and back home from Saw Mill for intermediate or up skiers Generally a lovely place. We have stayed 4 times and will certainly return.

It is a beautiful property in a beautiful place. Our unit was clean and comfortable and it was a real treat to have daily housekeeping service. The transportation system is very good, but pickup points for return to the lodge are limited. Our biggest complaint was the lack of any breakfast facilities on site or within easy walking distance. This is complicated by a shortage of places at which to buy breakfast items. Also of note, the on site restaurant/bar is excellent.

Stayed in a king bed Studio. No views as the room was facing another building.the room was clean, not well lit but also rather old fashioned. It had a kitchenette which had some amenities like microwave and a dishwasher, coffee maker. The room has popcorn ceilings and walls, old stained wood and a dated looking carpet. I also had a flickering light. It was very clean but very much 1970s styling. Pool and hot tubs were very good. Ski in and out is a bit of a stretch. I had to walk 50 - 100yards when I skied back or if I wanted to get on the slopes in the morning. However, a shuttle advised me to ride with him to another area to take a faster lift. Shuttle was very good. All in all okay, not amazing and not bad. I would visit again but I’d also look elsewhere.

This was my 2nd time staying at the property and I was less impressed this time. The positives: -Shuttle drivers were always pleasant, prompt and willing to drive you anywhere in the main area. - Rooms are spacious. The “room for improvement”: -Our room in Bldg 8 overlooked the parking garage and shuttle storage. It was busy and noisy. -Bathroom towels were thin and rough. -After seeing guests at the hot tub with hotel provided robes (convenient in Sept), I inquired about them and they said they were provided in the room. Ours did not have any (same room type). -Room is spacious but very basic. Dishes for 6 and small appliances were provided. Decor and bedding were less than luxurious. Pillows seemed like the cheapest available. -Housekeeping came after 3pm. -Underground parking is a perk but the spots are very tight. Overall, an okay stay. Clean and reasonable. In the future, I will be looking for something a little more high class.

The room was nice and the resort property was great. However, our room was 80 degrees when we checked in and took forever to cool down so to no ac. Also the shower had no water pressure. Other than that everything was wonderful!

An all around outstanding experience for us at the Grand Timber Lodge. The room was clean with excellent daily service, and we particularly appreciated the convenient shuttle to and from downtown and the Beaver Run lift area. The shuttle drivers were friendly, knowledgeable, and had great recommendations. We would definitely consider the Grand Timber Lodge again.

I picked this property based on the location and the description of the beds in each room. There were 8 of us with 3 bedrooms. The listing says 3 kings and 1 queen with sofabed. It's actually 2 kings and 1 queen with sofabed. When I called the front desk to see if there was a mistake, he was quite rude and responded that it wasn't their responsibility to correct Hotels.com. He then charged me for a roll away bed. Other than the sleeping arrangements, the place was very nice, but we won't stay here again.

When we arrived the heat didn’t work in the living room or bedroom. Despite being after 8pm Grand Timber Lodge sent someone with a temporary fix. They came back the next day and fixed the heat permanently. A few minor other things were broken such as lock between bathroom doors and the plugs for the tv a former guest had pushed in / broken. Unit was clean on surface but could have used a deep clean. Love having Christy’s and the Boot restaurant right on site. The shuttle bus is fabulous. Never need to drive. Easy access to Base 9 and back home from Saw Mill for intermediate or up skiers Generally a lovely place. We have stayed 4 times and will certainly return.

Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Fairly easy walk to downtown, but the shuttle was very nice to have available. Shuttle driver (Randy) was great!

My original reservation was at Grand Timber Lodge. When checking in they could not locate my reservation and had no available rooms. After 50 minutes of waiting around they did find a room at their sister property Grand Lodge Peak 7. This was definitely an upgrade, however we were given a handicap accessible room which was not ideal.

Beautiful property, friendly staff, and amazing views. Very convenient to town including a shuttle. Plenty of garage parking. Outdoor pools and hot tubs were relaxing looking up at the mountain views. We will be back!

Hotel was beautiful. Sectioned like condos, but you can buy in. Property and amenities were all clean and well taken care of. Wish main hotel had a bar or gathering place for adults, but did have some prescheduled activities. Convenient to use the shuttle service and easy to use free bus service for area. Check-in and out very easy and well detailed. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This is a really beautiful and expansive property with lots of amenities. We particularly liked that the hotel has two pools and multiple hot tubs. The hotel also has movie theater rooms that you can reserve for free. During our stay, there was a hotel-wide outage of the TV channels. The hotel texted all guests (if you were opted into texts) about the outage with updates. They streamed football games at the on-site restaurant and offered everyone a free DVD rental.

We stayed here for spring break and loved. Room for 4 was spacious, the pool area is great and so the bar. It is ski in, and not exactly ski out (you have walk and carry skis). There are lockers, but the hotel was full and it took some time to find one available and some didn't work properly, but the staff was always quick to help. It was also hard to find a free spot in the garage. Transportation to town was easy with the shuttle. The ski rental store onsite was also very convenient. There is no breakfast, but the market at the reception has some basics, and you can stock up at the grocery store in town.

It is a beautiful property in a beautiful place. Our unit was clean and comfortable and it was a real treat to have daily housekeeping service. The transportation system is very good, but pickup points for return to the lodge are limited. Our biggest complaint was the lack of any breakfast facilities on site or within easy walking distance. This is complicated by a shortage of places at which to buy breakfast items. Also of note, the on site restaurant/bar is excellent.

Beautiful property off the main path of Breckinridge. The shuttle service was very easy to use and we never waited more than 10 minutes for it to pick us up. The 2 pools were great and it had a couple hot tubs. The front staff was helpful and friendly. We loved our room and the comfortable beds. My only complaint was charging for the small cup of coffee in the lobby. Most resorts I’ve stayed at offered free coffee in the lobby. A coffee shop at the resort would truly be beneficial. I would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel! Room is simple (queen bed and sofa bed) with enough space for 2 adults and 2 kids, clean and with a convenient kitchenette. After a ski day, a delicious pool and whirpool waiting for us to relax. Family room with an arcade and movie rooms. Restaurant, Boots, has great staff and service. Food is prepared quikly, delicious food. Hotel also has a shuttle, very convenient! It left us just in our lifts. Also has other stops, very consistent and quick service, it was a must in our stay. The parking is covered which is also very convenient for snowy days. Definitely recommend it!
