I have nothing to say and the service is great, very close to the attractions and almost next door. No need to take a car and you can just walk a few minutes to the attractions. The breakfast buffet is delicious what they prepare in the morning and you know it will be expensive. Yes, the hotel is expensive per night but it is worth the price. They have a 24 hrs free bar for specialty coffee and sparkling water in the fridge.l'd like to give a good feedback to Josh, in charge of restaurant, he is attentive and kind to the customer at the breakfast buffet. All the staff in the hotel from front desk to housekeeping has good service. The room, hallway and the entire hotel are clean and fragrant. We recommend this hotel to our relatives/colleagues.

We had a spacious apartment, equipped with everything we needed for a 7 day stay. Cleaned daily, free coffee and sparkling water in the lobby, plus 2 bottles of free beer a day! Convenient laundry in the basement. Very good location next to Karlsplatz U-Bahn Station in the heart of Vienna. Will stay again when in Vienna.

The hotel has a great location near the opera house and right next to a subway stop. The hop on/off buses start at the opera house so very convenient for those. There's also lot of shopping and restaurants around. The hotel has a very small elevator accessing the rooms which is its biggest drawback and you have to go up several steps with your luggage to get to the elevator. Nice amenity is the free water and coffee always available in the lobby.

Great location, walk to museums, across from opera house! Convenient complimentary espresso and sparkling water for guests in the lobby. They even gave us free beer and champagne for our family suite, super service! Also enjoyed the L’Opera cafe just around the corner, perfect for breakfast!

No frills check-in and check-out. Staff were attentive and friendly. Great location for walking around Vienna and accessing the subway system. Elevator (one), though modern, is small and slow. More importantly, it is far away from the lobby and requires several steps up and down to access. It took us ~20 minutes to get our luggage to the room because there was another party in line for the elevator. Both of us needed multiple trips to move all people and luggage.

Excellent staff, especially front desk and housekeeping. Nicely located in central Vienna. The unit was roomy, but the HVAC was, let's say, not quite up to the winter task. No frills. No bar. They offer breakfast, but it's crazy expensive.

Another great stay at this wonderful hotel. The rooms are huge and so comfortable. Great staff, and lots of included treats: daily free beer and mineral water in the minibar, free cappuccino/espresso and mineral water in the lobby, and a washer/dryer in the basement. Can't beat the location. Fairly priced. My only suggestion: please improve internet speed.

Front desk and breakfast staff is very helpful. Our room was not cleaned as expected and had some dried sticky stains on leather sofa and ottoman. Location is perfect if you want to visit Opera House.

The property is a long term stay hotel and rooms with kitchenette and living room were spacious. Another positive is the public transport is all literally very close. In addition there is a great cafe bar across from the Opera with great food and drinks and stays open late. On the negative side the area outside our second floor room and the shower smelled badly of sewage during the heavy rains. The breakfast is overpriced so save some money and walk to the bagel shop or cafes nearby. Also, be advised the this is a long term stay hotel so the advertised “laundry services” are in fact self serve washer and dryer in the basement of the hotel.

Absolutely disgusting, did not accurately represent the pictures at all. Wallpaper peeling in sections, grout in bathroom dark and stained, paneling in kitchenette looks like something from 1970s Russian mafia movie, and mattresses stained, and what looked like old bedbug feces underneath. Very outdated, dirty, old and we felt extremely disappointed.

정말 이렇게 청소가 안된 호텔은 처음입니다. 바닥엔 머리카락과 먼지가 엉켜서 굴러다니고 있었고 식기세척기엔 세척안된 그릇들이 그대로 들어있었어요. 청결에서는 최악입니다. 그나마 트램이나 지하철타기 편한것 빼고는 정말 너무너무 지저분해서 숙소에서 체크아웃하는날만 기다렸습니다

We liked the fact that it was so close to the inner City, the transport facilities, shopping , supermarket and cafes. We liked that bottles of water and coffee were available as and when required., and we loved the Staff...We didn't at all like only having 1 towel change in every 7 days (we stayed 14 nights) so only had 2 towel changes and worse of all the bath towels were way too small for an adult didn't even cover one's modesty so these issues should be rectified for complete satisfaction.

Vi hadde et fint opphold. Rommet var fint, men når man srudde på lyset på badet kom det en kraftig lukt av kloakk fra ventilasjonen. Det trekker selvfølgelig ned, men heldigvis var vi ikke så mye på rommet.

First, they were very accommodating when I made a mistake and needed to book an extra night. Thank you! Our first room was not up to the rating that was posted on Expedia. Not even close! Bed frame was literally falling apart, handles on furniture had come unattached and there was a hole in the floor from an old bed frame maybe?? We then were switched to another room which was much better but still not 4+ stars. Both rooms had pots and pans like an Airbnb. Just not what we expect from a 4+ star hotel. We stayed in Europe for 2+ weeks and stayed in 2 other hotels on our trip that were A+, so we had comparable bookings. Location was great!

This hotel was beautiful. It was in an older building and had art work and furniture from past eras. Our room was huge. We got a family room which had 1 separate bedroom, another bed partitioned off from living room, and a pull out couch. We also had a kitchenette, which allowed us to do some meals in the room. The hotel was a short walk to both the Opera House and Karlskirche. The underground station as almost outside the front door.

Mycket trevligt hotell. Toppen service och trevlig personal. Det enda som är värt att klaga på är temperaturen. Det var närmare 30° på rummet och vi har tvungna att hålla fönstren öppna dygnet runt. Men topp betyg trots det!

Our room was huge with 12-15 ft ceilings. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lobby is small but elegant. The location is fantastic! We were within walking distance of nearly all attractions, and there is a metro stop and trolley stop just outside the hotel doors. We absolutely loved our stay there and plan to return someday.

The hotel is in an excellent area, close to shopping and dinning. The rooms are huge, the size of a small condo. The room was clean and quiet, but they need a bit of updating. The staff is very kind, specially the lady at the front desk (I think she was from Bosnia) , she was very nice and helped us with our lugagge and with directions to our parking. Overall we had a very good stay.

The hotel is perfectly located for a trip to Vienna. We were able to walk everywhere. If the price had been lower, we'd have given everything five stars and overlooked a few down-at-the-heels aspects. Overall a nice stay, though. FWIW, be aware that the wifi network is not secure if that matters to you.

O hotel está em um prédio histórico, decorado neste estilo mas, não tem luxo. O café da manhã é bom, graças a única pessoa responsável por prepara-ló e servir. A arrumação dos quartos deixa a desejar pq só colocam as amenities de 2 em 2 dias, precisávamos pedir papel higiênico pq não disponibilizavam um rolo reserva. Solicitamos o late check out mas, com muita conversa e má vontade, ofereceram “1 hora e nem mais 1 minuto”, segundo a recepção e a gerência. Como Viena é uma cidade cara, os preços dos tickets das atrações e as hospedagens são tb mais caros que outras capitais então, pagamos mais caro com menos serviço oferecido . Podem existir melhores opções de hospedagem, em tão boa localização

Ho prenotato in questo hotel per un soggiorno di 3 giorni a cavallo del capodanno. L'hotel è in una posizione centrale e strategica e la pulizia è buona. Ci sono però delle criticità: la reception è composta da una sola persona per turno, se ci sono emergenze viene lasciata scoperta. Non c'è un bar all'interno. La piccola sala colazioni offre un pò di tutto, ma al giorno d'oggi, con tutte le varie problematiche di intolleranze o allergie, non avere a disposizione del latte senza lattosio NON è accettabile. Inoltre la responsabile delle colazioni ha, a mio parere, un atteggiamento cordiale solo in apparenza: appena gli si chiede qualcosa di diverso, come per esempio di "scaldare" del latte di soia, reagisce in modo nervoso e chiaramente scocciato. Cosa più grave, ho segnalato al mio arrivo un serio problema con la ventola di aspirazione del bagno, direttamente collegata alla luce, che era "estremamente" rumorosa, al limite del sopportabile. Nulla è stato fatto e nulla mi à stato riferito a riguardo: e nulla ci è stato chiesto di come fosse andato il soggiorno al momento della partenza, l'indifferenza più assoluta. Ho prenotato in questo hotel per un soggiorno di 3 giorni a cavallo del capodanno. L'hotel è in una posizione centrale e strategica e la pulizia è buona. Ci sono però delle criticità: la reception è composta da una sola persona per turno, se ci sono emergenze viene lasciata scoperta. Non c'è un bar all'interno. La piccola sala colazioni offre un pò di tutto, ma al giorno d'oggi, con tutte le varie problematiche di intolleranze o allergie, non avere a disposizione del latte senza lattosio NON è accettabile. Inoltre la responsabile delle colazioni ha, a mio parere, un atteggiamento cordiale solo in apparenza: appena gli si chiede qualcosa di diverso, come per esempio di "scaldare" del latte di soia, reagisce in modo nervoso e chiaramente scocciato. Cosa più grave, ho segnalato al mio arrivo un serio problema con la ventola di aspirazione del bagno, direttamente collegata alla luce, che era "estremamente" rumorosa, al limite del sopportabile. Nulla è stato fatto e nulla mi à stato riferito a riguardo: e nulla ci è stato chiesto di come fosse andato il soggiorno al momento della partenza, l'indifferenza più assoluta. Unfortunately they did not have a key for us as the previous people had not returned it. What was impressive was how they handled the situation. They gave us a free breakfast for the inconvenience and they had someone go up with us to the room each time we needed to get in without any wait. Excellent customer service.

5 stars. Its located at a very convenient location, very close to all major tourist spots. Plus, service was very good. Although they guy in the front desk didn't let me checkin by 12, but still, overall a very nice experience.

The room was very nice, the breakfast buffet delicious but if you have an apartment with living area and kitchen (what I had) it would be nice to have a toaster and coffee machine there. Even though there is coffee available downstairs all day long. The reception staff needs some improvement but Andrea was exceptionally friendly and helpful

Great location. Delicious breakfast included. Patricia in reception made us feel very welcomed and gave us great dining recommendations and a map highlighted to get around. We recommend this hotel very much. It’s walking distance to the Belvedere and other great museums, the opera house, St Charles church where we saw a wonderful Vivaldi concert and much more.

This was our 5th time at the Derag Vienna and we were a little disappointed to have an inside superior appartment allocated. However...David at reception was fantastic and arranged to move us to a front facing room after we not so much complained...just weren't happy. He was a star...and David...many thanks...we had another great 5 night stay. Just another mention to the other lovely ladies at reception for being so pleasant.

Location: Perfect. A short walk to everything and there is a subway stop within a block that gets you to and from the main train station within 2 stops. All the main attractions are within walking distance. Lots of restaurants and shopping also close by. Hotel: Great! Clean, safe and. all the amenities required. Has a restaurant for breakfast and also has laundry facilities on site. Room: Very large apartment style. A little dated but it fits the style of the hotel. Staff: Were very friendly during our stay and answered every question we had. I would stay here again.

I have nothing to say and the service is great, very close to the attractions and almost next door. No need to take a car and you can just walk a few minutes to the attractions. The breakfast buffet is delicious what they prepare in the morning and you know it will be expensive. Yes, the hotel is expensive per night but it is worth the price. They have a 24 hrs free bar for specialty coffee and sparkling water in the fridge.l'd like to give a good feedback to Josh, in charge of restaurant, he is attentive and kind to the customer at the breakfast buffet. All the staff in the hotel from front desk to housekeeping has good service. The room, hallway and the entire hotel are clean and fragrant. We recommend this hotel to our relatives/colleagues.

Excellent location, breakfast is basic but good. Nice staff, spacious room, great view. For the location and what you get, it's very good value... But don't expect 5 stars, that's not what this is. That'd cost double. Still, can recommend this, we were a family with a 1-year old and it was worthwhile.

Excellent staff, especially front desk and housekeeping. Nicely located in central Vienna. The unit was roomy, but the HVAC was, let's say, not quite up to the winter task. No frills. No bar. They offer breakfast, but it's crazy expensive.

Hotel was very nice. We found the beds too hard for us. The bathroom mirror was dark but there were other mirrors in the suite. We liked having the room. The breakfast was good but at 50 euro a couple was a little on the high side for what it was. The staff were very very pleasant.

The room was really spacious with classical decor. The location was great and so was staff. Free coffee (excellent quality!) and sparkling water were nice, unexpected amenities and we took full advantage. The only thing was that the bed mattress was a bit too bouncy for us. We will most definitely book this hotel when we go back for more visit.
