Left the hotel on the same night we checked in. Music from the beer street was too loud. We were on the sixt floor without elevator and no fire escapes. Room looked ok, but was very worn out (shelf in closet was almost falling apart, and in there they stored wood tiles of some sort (building materials). When we decided to leave, the portier was sleeping. We woke him up and found out he was so drunk he could barely look straight. Quiet concerning - happy that we didn’t speed a single night there! The front desk receptionist at arrival was nice though.

Great location. Rooms in need of improvement; there is some damp and mould but the rest is very clean and fine for a few nights.

Stayed 8 nights

I had a wonderful 8-night stay at Hanoi Elite Hotel, a charming hotel perfectly nestled in the heart of the Old Quarter. The location was excellent, situated on a small street just off the main hustle and bustle, yet incredibly convenient. Everything you might need was within less than 50 meters: Circle K, laundry services, restaurants, cafés, and spas. The room was absolutely fine for the price paid, and perhaps even slightly above expectations. The hotel itself is well maintained and fully in line with its standard, with no unpleasant surprises. A special mention for the Wi-Fi, which was excellent. Each floor, with only two rooms, has its own dedicated router, which makes a noticeable difference. The staff, however, truly deserve a sixth star if it were possible. The kindness of the receptionist and the entire team was incredible. They were always ready to help, cleaning the room every day, providing fresh water, toilet paper, and clean towels, arranging airport transfers, carrying luggage, and recommending great spots and activities. These thoughtful attentions made the stay genuinely enjoyable and memorable. I had read the reviews before booking, and I can confidently confirm that they are fully justified.

Nice and comfortable room, great location, safe to walk around. Tracey and Staff were very helpful for organizing transportation and tours. Room was not noisy at night despite been very close to beer street.
