Location is great and staff were amazing and super attentive. Bed a little hard and buffet not huge but enough.

La Nueva Boutique was a fantastic choice for our 5 days in Hanoi. From arrival to departure, the staff were attentive and friendly and happy to help. Jimmy arranged a car for us and gave us a great recommendation for a self-guided walking tour. The morning breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had, and the coffee was fantastic black. The rooftop bar, Estrella, deserves more patronage than it gets. It has a nice concept with the menu, drinks designed as metaphors for the planets. The drinks were interesting and tasty. The view is very good and the bartenders are personable and have excellent English. We had wide-ranging conversations each night and it made coming back to the hotel special. I felt like I was leaving friends when they shook my hand the last night. The location cannot be beat, right in the heart of Old Quarter a block from the lake. Old Quarter is my kind of place, with genuine local food, bars, cafes and a vibrant street scene. The room was comfortable and clean, and the hallways and room smelled fresh and slightly herbal. It is a pretty old building but it has been well cared-for. It made a great base of operations for city exploration.

Loved our stay here. The best part of this hotel is their staff. Before our arrival, the staff reached out to us to arrange airport pickup. They were always in contact. When we arrived, we were greeted with warm towel to wipe our hands and tea. They recommended areas to visit. They even helped booked our over night sleeper train tickets to Sapa. The staff definitely went above and beyond which made our stay so much more pleasant. For international women’s day, the staff even gave me a flower. When we checked out, we were also given a little gift of tiger balm. Breakfast was delicious. Hotel is walking distance to everywhere. Highly recommend.
