Fascinating history, handsome architecture, lifts were small and tired. Bed was very comfortable. Great views (4th floor). Corner room was lovely. Staff friendly.

They have no restaurant service (just a basic microwave menu). Breakfast is microwave based (re cooked poached eggs,etc). And they insist on taken your card details (even though the stay was paid upfront in full). Staff unhelpful and demotivated. No atmosphere in the evening.

A very nice, well appointed hotel. The room was exactly as advertised, and I felt like it was good value. The breakfast was great too. The only thing that let it down slightly was the in-hotel restaurant. The portions were massive and the puddings were all great, but it felt a bit low quality compared to the rest of the hotel. But, there's plenty of choice in restaurant and takeaway nearby, and the staff were great for recommendations so I wouldn't let that put you off. Speaking of which, the staff were outstanding. Everyone I dealt with from cleaners to reception to bar and restaurant was helpful, patient and kind.

parking is an issue as there is a car park adjacent to the hotel , however i may have got it wrong as i thought the parking was free , in the morning checking out i had to pay for a nights parking , which in fairness may have been discounted , however would have liked it to be clearer.

The hotel is in an excellent position being on the Airport bus route, a five-minute walk to the central railway station, and ten-minute walk to the shopping centre. The rooms are a good size and quiet. There was a fridge with complementary items that can be used to store food and drink, and a good shower. Breakfast was really good with a cold buffet and cooked breakfast available. The hotel also serves meals, but we did not try these. There is also a small gym. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We would stay here again.

Really great stay, clean and bright hotel. The room was spacious and spotless, with great bathroom facilities. Staff were attentive and on my arrival (2 hours before check in) Erin could not have been more helpful in getting my room sorted out and allowing to get up and start to enjoy my stay. Very convenient for the city centre, it will be a must return for me

Haven’t stayed at Indigo for a few years. It is a bit tired. Old stains on net curtains and valance. Breakfast was average at best. Obviously precooked and partially reheated. Staff were lovely and room was clean.

I have stayed here before and both times have been excellent. The room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The bed is extremely comfortable and the shower is great. Reception staff are brilliant. I arrived early to see if i could drop my bag off so I could go shopping. The lady checked to see if my room was ready. It wasn't but she got me to fill in the check-in form and said she would email me when my room was ready, which she did at 1.45. All in all it was a fantastic stay.

Nice hotel, quite central and very quiet. Friendly staff at reception and at breakfast. I had a city view room which was situated by the side of the building facing the car park, as I asked for a quiet room. Big spacious room but not what I would call clean and looking quite tired. Marks on the walls, flooring and carpet seemed like it could've had a proper clean. Nice king size bed, clean bed sheets and very comfortable. En suite had a nice shower, no real complaints there. Breakfast room had a nice selection

Unfortunately we had a horrible experience, we we’re originally booked for eight nights and we had to leave the fourth night because we couldn’t stand it anymore to stay there. The hotel itself is very very old and it’s floors and walls are made out wood therefore every step you take there’s a creaking noise and the creaking noise worse in the bedrooms and it becomes unbearable when you can you can literally hear single step the other person in the next room is taking. it’s completely unacceptable when i have to tip toe to the bathroom because the creaking noise in the floor is so loud that i will wake everyone up. There was mold in the window frames, we also found a bug on our bed and very dirty and there was just this bad smell in the hallways like a very old odour from the carpet. And during our stay the house keeping were terrible they never changed bedsheets even tho we requested it and would not recommend this hotel.

The check in was fine-got into our room at 1pm instead of 3pm which was great. Dirty footprints in the shower-reported it and it was sorted. Room was incredibly warm and air con was noisy. Breakfast had good choice but machine coffee was rotten!

Wonderful staff and very clean rooms. It's the bathrooms that let it down. The cleanliness just isn't there, huge amount of hair in the drains, the shower leaves from the floor and the shower head. Other than that a fantastic stay. Despite this I will stay again 😊

I was given a corner room, and it was lovely! The decor looked fairly new and was both tasteful and fun, and the layout of the room worked very well. It was very clean and comfortable, and I enjoyed my time there immensely, even though I was only in Glasgow for a conference. I would've liked to have wifi available that my protection software wasn't constantly screaming about as unsecure, and (weirdly) the hot water in the sink was a little TOO hot (getting warm or cold water took figuring out the tap), and the fact that I couldn't turn on the desk lamp while seated at the desk, and had to have a floor lamp on at the same time was odd. Also, a recycling bin in the room would have been much appreciated. But apart from these small things, the room was wonderful (one of the best I've stayed in for ages), the staff friendly, the breakfast good (as long as you avoided the cooked breakfast! I was sick for a day after 1 round of eggs, of which I managed only a few bites before sending it back; there was enough in the continental buffet not to need the cooked breakfast, however), and I would happily stay there again (& have already recommended it to a couple of friends who travel to Glasgow more frequently than I). A really beautiful hotel with a good, helpful, friendly staff, and a great location!

We stayed for one night as a family (2 adults, 2 kids). The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean - the shower in the room was great! However, the mattresses on both beds in our room were really bad, so we slept poorly. The breakfast was average - cooked food was to order (not buffet) but still arrived cold. Location is very convenient, parking just across the road with EV charging available. Would not stay again due to the poor mattresses!

Boutique hotel in an interesting building in a very central location. Attractive public areas. Good breakfast. Charming, helpful staff. Room was good but the aircon non-existent on a hot, humid night. It was carefully noted at checkout and our parking charge was cancelled as a gesture.

A movie was being filmed so the streets were blocked. I was concerned that we wouldn’t be able to get a taxi to pick us up at the hotel. However the staff checked the filming time and arranged for a taxi just when we needed it

I cannot speak highly enough of my recent stay. A beautiful hotel, conveniently placed close to the city centre. But most of all a huge thankyou to the staff who went above and beyond. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Indigo. There is a parking garage across the street from the hotel that is super convenient for those renting cars. The hotel has a discount rate with the parking garage too. The staff is especially friendly and helpful- Erin and Ella- thank you for your great advice and time. The rooms are very nice, updated and very clean. The restaurant is very nice and we enjoyed the breakfast every morning. The location is very close to everything too. We would recommend this hotel!

The hotel is well located, just enough out of the hustle & bustle but a short stroll into it. The reception staff (Katt) were very friendly & welcoming. The room was a strange layout & was a little tired in areas but good enough for us. One thing I was slightly annoyed at was the shower gel was empty so had to wash with shampoo, however, we informed reception the next morning & it was quickly filled up & the room tidied. The bed was comfy, & there was a fridge & tea/coffee facilities in the room. We opted for breakfast in the morning & this was well executed, good choice & well cooked. All in all, we would definitely stay here again for the proximity to the centre & the warm welcome.

In general, such friendly, kind staff. The hotel is attractive, well-located and has a nice breakfast buffet. Everything was kept clean and tidy, I saw a coffee spill happen and ten minutes later the lift had no signs of it: miraculous!

Everyone was so helpful and cheerful. We got so many suggestion for sites to see and they were all walking distance from the hotel. The hotel is so beautiful.

I’ve stayed at Indigo hotels in York and elsewhere and they have been superb. The Glasgow one is not. Feels tired, no bar service from 11pm, reception behind the desk with office door open is unwelcoming. Staff were great and resolved several small issues but these could have been easily avoided in the first place. Stayed 2 nights and both rooms I had booked were not cleaned. I even mentioned to the cleaner outside our room that both rooms were now available for cleaning. Came back from a wedding at 11pm and they had not been done. Had to get towels from reception. Shower needed to see some bleach. There’s too many other great hotels to choose from. Can’t see myself going back to this one.

Bed is very comfy and overall a nice hotel. The breakfast was a bit mediocre with my cooked full scottish a bit raw and the wifes fruit was hit and miss. Tea and coffee is self service using 2 machines but one was broken so quite a wait to get the morning brew. The staff were very friendly and helpful which greatly helped. I noticed used syringes stuck in the cracks of the footpath outside which would be very worrying if we had children with us...

Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Indigo, Glasgow! The car park was so close and super convenient, with the staff reminding us the hotel could support with a discount. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a great size and felt luxurious and the hotel was in an ideal location. Quiet enough to ensure a good night’s sleep, but only a stone’s throw from local shops and eateries. I would absolutely recommend opting for the Hotel Indigo Breakfast option - excellent value, lots of options and really tasty! When we’re next back in Glasgow, we will definitely be staying here again!

Hotel was good , great location close to all pubs and Shops ! Only down side was the breakfast was poor , the bacon and sausages were like they frozen ones , not from a local butcher anyway
