front desk staff were personable and accomodating. coffee was good and p.m. popcorn and lemonade is nice. the hot tub was closed for maintenance day of arrival. room is spacious and bed was comfortable. i would stay again.

Perfect, private balcony view of Lake Superior! The property offers many extras to enhance your stay like bike rentals, a fire pit, popcorn bar and more. We will definitely stay here again.

We loved the room and the view was amazing. The s'mores and hot cocoa bar were great, and the fire pit was fun when we had the nice night. The pool however was too cold and the hot tub only warm, not hot enough, and we really wanted to hang out there more.

The suite was really nice with a beautiful view. Downside the attached suites windows looked not only directly onto our deck, but also we could see in to their room. The doors were also very loud as they closed in the adjoined hall. There are approximately 100 rooms and 20 heated parking spaces. The rest of the parking was in the street. The parking was tight and this place would benefit from a valet service. Otherwise it was a very good property.

Lovely property - right on the lake. A resort feel but cozy like a B & B. Very clean, quiet, spacious. Wonderful staff - very professional and warm. Underground heated parking seals the deal for staying in winter!

Stunning views of Lake Superior. Peaceful. Easy bike ride or walk along boardwalk to canal park. Friendly and welcoming staff. Popcorn bar was cute- s’mores at sunset a great treat. Take and go breakfast nice! Pool, hot tub and sauna were great! More than we anticipated! Will stay again!

The elevator, hallway, and room all have an overwhelming chemical burnt plastic smell that has made it hard to breath and has caused an intense headache that won’t go away. It’s been a really unpleasant environment to be in from the smell, which is unfortunate because the view is nice and the room is decent.

Amazing views and amazing staff. Room was surprisingly transparent in sound. Could hear next door guests room voice level conversations. Base moulding trim along side shower unit was rotted out and moldy. Bathroom sink drained extremely slow. If issues were addressed 10/10 experience.

The staff was great! The facility was ok. There was a terrible odor the whole time from someone cooking next door. It took the wall A/C almost all night to cool the room. Getting through all the vehicles blocking the entrance was a challenge. The garage has very limited parking spots. The room was outdated and wasn’t the cleanest for the amount of money I paid.

The room was not in good condition. The patio doors lock was broken so that had to be left unlocked at all times, the handle pulled off the first time I used it, the toilet make a very high pitched whine every time you used it, there were coffee grounds left in the coffee maker, the window was left opened and unlocked when we got there.

Need more grab bars etc. in bathrooms. Didn’t feel shower was good for seniors with balance issues. Be sure if anyone books penthouse they know about stairs. Wasn’t aware which wasn’t easy for us to have that room

We loved the view of the lake. We wished to give 5 stars, but we were disturbed by the noise from the family with small children next door. The balcony is very close to neighbors, and as a result, there is not much privacy for a "quiet" evening or morning, as advertised. We expected much more private space for the price we paid, over $300/night. The staff were very friendly.

Beacon Pointe is my favorite place to stay in the Duluth area! It’s so relaxing and peaceful being that close to the lake. Canal Park and downtown Duluth are each five minutes from here. My husband and I love to drive up Hwy 61 to visit one of the state parks nearby.

I was looking for a beautiful, quiet hotel on the lake in Duluth. Beacon Pointe delivered. I treated myself and stayed in the Penthouse suite. It had a gorgeous view, was spacious and extremely restful and quiet. So happy I stopped here. The front desk staff was kind, present, and accommodating. Thank you for a wonderful stop on a very long road trip.

Amazing place, we love it here. So peaceful and beautiful. Best place to stay in Duluth. My only critique is the noise of the doors when they shut. It was quite loud in our room when doors would shut.

For a $450 price tag i was expecting more from this room. We got assigned a handicap room with no tub for my wife. The shower was the worst part of this room. Having to mess with the lever so it wasn't scalding hot was irritating to say the least. Shower head mount on the long direction was broken so it needed to be mounted on the short depth of the shower which had water pouring out of this space and all over the door casing and door jamb. Hated the bathroom!! On a positive note, the view from our room was glorious! I liked the mini convenience store at the check inn desk.

Everything was clean. The staff were respectful and promptly addressed--and resolved--our noise complaint (a woman next door was singing folk music and playing her guitar, and if I had been in a mood receptive to this sort of thing, in a Edmund Fitzgerald tragic sense, perhaps, while looking out over the waters of Superior and digesting the forlorn aura her voice projected through the wall, I would've let it go on later into the night.) The grab-and-go breakfast pantry was well-stocked with a nice variety of items. And the million-dollar view offered at the concrete patio, night or day, is worth the cost of the room by itself. I will be staying here again.

We loved this property! It was outstanding the only downside was that our air conditioner wasn’t really working, which made for a sweaty night. The staff was amazing we love doing the s’mores and getting to know a few of the other guests.

My wife and I loved staying at Beacon Pointe for our weekend trip up the North Shore! The staff were super kind, friendly, and helpful! Our room was beautiful, had wonderful amenities in it, and was super clean! Our view of the lake was amazing, and we even got to see a few boats come through the Lift Bridge!

Dakota is a gem! Our room was beautiful, quiet and cozy. The hot chocolate bar was the perfect touch! Loved the makeup towels. The service all around was exceptional. Can't wait to come back in the summer!

Tristan the front desk supervisor was extremely helpful and pleasant (two thumbs up to this employee). The property is beautiful and located in a beautiful area. The only complaints would be the pool was extremely high in chlorine and our jacuzzi tub in the room had some residue stains maybe from the previous guest. Overall the stay was wonderful, the location is amazing and our view of Lake Superior was breath taking. We will for sure be back!

Lakeside rooms are the best view of the lake. Since you're not in Canal Park it is not congested and it's quiet. Nice walking path that goes both directions outside of the resort.

Thought these were apartments till I found the name of the complex& looked them up on a few sites. We were very pleasantly surprised - a hidden gem right on Lake Superior. We booked a deluxe room with a balcony facing the lake & loved it. We even had underground parking and a Grab & Go breakfast that had a good variety of items. It's a 5 minute drive down to Canal St. & downtown Duluth. We'll definitely go back!

Located on the shores of Lake Superior.We had one wild weather day, with strong winds, an white caps crashing on the shores. It was awsum. Its situated at the Lake Superior walking/biking nature trail that tales you right into Canal Park Perfect.

Very nice hotel. Tricky to find at night. I was disappointed there was no room service. I had to ask and deliver any new towels requested for the next day. No dirty towel pick up while we were there. Slim breakfast offerings.

What a gem this place is! I had never been in Duluth or at Lake Superior before, but this hotel made our stay so delightful & memorable! The balcony on a beautiful Summer day felt like we were at a beach house in California. The staff here were so friendly as well. The breakfast options & gift shop downstairs were very nice as well. Also the convenience to the Lake Walk park & dining options downtown were big bonuses as well.

This is a beautiful property. The hospitality you will receive from staff the moment you walk in to until the moment you checkout is amazing. We loved the complimentary treats and smores at night around the fire pit. Being able to rent bikes for a trip to canal park was convenient and fun! The room was fantastic, clean and felt like home with the fireplace, kitchen and jacuzzi tub. It was one of the best stays I've had in years and I travel a lot. Thank you Beacon Pointe!

Second time staying for work trip . Clean and lovely pool area . Very fully stocked grab as you go breakfast with not always found proteins ( yay ) . Spacious room - just a tiny bit warm even when I tried to adjust thermostat but opened window near bed for a tiny bit and moderated just fine . Very nice kitchen area and always very friendly and gracious staff they should take pride in . They seem to take pride in great service . Will always stay on business trips . Merci beaucoup! Keep up the great work .
