Beautiful view and great amenities. Only thing is the pull out is not made for 2 people; however, they provided a cot which worked just fine. It is a good deal for the price and what you get.

I liked that It was affordable. The bed was comfortable and although small and no balcony i enjoyed sitting at yr gas fire pits couch and enjoying the view of the sound. I would defintely like to rebook a room there next August and possibly stay there for a golf outing I have planned for october. Will look at availibility.

Property was very nice. Juan and Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very nice, clean. Nothin fancy but had refrigerator, stove top, sink etc. Stayed in Room 100 a Studio. Not ocean view but access to Sitting area with view of the ocean with lounge chairs and tables to sit behind hotel. All new!. A few fire pits, but only one was working at the time, which was really no big deal for us. Hotel seemed to have been updated, possibly recently. Pool was nice. Lounge chairs, tables, umbrellas, all looked new. . You cannot enter the ocean/Bay from the hotel, but just down the road you can park and go to the beach. No waves and rocky upon entry but really nice. Great sunset. Great restaurants very nearby, some within walking distance. Take advantage of the Free Hopper shuttle that picks you up by Gosman's, (walking distance) and we'll bring you into town and back. FREE! This runs frequently till 10 pm. You can go to several beaches near town as well with ocean waves. Hidden gem. Overall great place. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed here 11/06 - 13/06 -24 Closer to the beach is hard to come by. Wonderful little apartment less than 10 meters from the sea. Airy room with full kitchen. The balcony facing the sea with an amazing view. Missing, however, comfortable sunbeds on the balcony. Can warmly recommend this place. Prons: Heated pool Plenty of parking spaces. The balcony. Wonderful view. Complete kitchen. 7 minutes to Montauk by car. Cons: Reception only during the day. No steps down to the sea. You have to walk for about 5 - 10 minutes to the left of the hotel to reach the beach. Missing sunbeds and parasols. Time share accommodation. Keep in mind that the apartments look different because of this.

This place was excellent. It was cozy studio apartment very clean and right on the water. The staff was amazing too they gave me an early check in without even asking. I will be back.

The resort is located quite closed to the light house museum and most of the restaurants in town. We stayed 2 nights on the superior studio with a breathtaking view of the ocean. We also managed to do some star gazing at night out in the balcony. The room was quite airy, we had the doors to the balcony and the windows next to the bed opened and the AC is not quite needed. The bathroom was clean. The floor can get wet after showering but it dries up quickly. I was surprised to also find make-up removers (which I have never seen in any hotel/inn/resorts before). The full-sized kitchen was nice (even though we didn't use it at all). The bed was a bit too soft for our liking but overall it was decent. We didn't require any extra services from the staff so I can't comment on that. The only two things that lowered the rating from a perfect 10 to 7/10 is because the floor was a bit dirty (as I like to walk barefoot indoor) and I would like some curtains on the windows. The room was VERY BRIGHT in the morning. I am on vacation and I don't like waking up with the sun when I am on vacation.

Pleasant stay, I will definitely be back. Cute room on the water with beautiful views. Very clean and comfortable with the convenience of a kitchenette. Just a short ride to town. Highly recommend.

The hotel staff is dishonest and trying to claim that we had more than the allowable people that slept in the room during my stay. This was absolutely false , and I was extremely disappointed that the hotel would try to take advantage of their guests and charge them additional fees on false claims. The fact of the matter was that we had 2 people stop by and visit, then left shortly thereafter. In addition to that they are claiming there is a remote missing that we never had in the room to begin with. Be careful when staying at the Sun N Sound because they certainly will try to take advantage of their guests and charge them additional fees. In addition to this , our toilet had to be unclogged multiple times during our stay. One of the worst experiences I have ever had staying in Montauk.

Great service from Seni. Nice room with decent amenities. Some issues, like ceiling fan not working and a loose curtain rod, I flagged and am confident they’ll be fixed. Would return here again.

Property was very nice. Juan and Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very nice, clean. Nothin fancy but had refrigerator, stove top, sink etc. Stayed in Room 100 a Studio. Not ocean view but access to Sitting area with view of the ocean with lounge chairs and tables to sit behind hotel. All new!. A few fire pits, but only one was working at the time, which was really no big deal for us. Hotel seemed to have been updated, possibly recently. Pool was nice. Lounge chairs, tables, umbrellas, all looked new. . You cannot enter the ocean/Bay from the hotel, but just down the road you can park and go to the beach. No waves and rocky upon entry but really nice. Great sunset. Great restaurants very nearby, some within walking distance. Take advantage of the Free Hopper shuttle that picks you up by Gosman's, (walking distance) and we'll bring you into town and back. FREE! This runs frequently till 10 pm. You can go to several beaches near town as well with ocean waves. Hidden gem. Overall great place. Would definitely stay again.

Everything was good, they upgraded our room since there was an availability, however we had difficulty with the locks for the door, it was waste of time for us to to wait till it was fixed(actually it wasn’t fixed.) They ended up giving us the key instead of the code since they couldn’t figure out how to fix it.

The hotel staff is dishonest and trying to claim that we had more than the allowable people that slept in the room during my stay. This was absolutely false , and I was extremely disappointed that the hotel would try to take advantage of their guests and charge them additional fees on false claims. The fact of the matter was that we had 2 people stop by and visit, then left shortly thereafter. In addition to that they are claiming there is a remote missing that we never had in the room to begin with. Be careful when staying at the Sun N Sound because they certainly will try to take advantage of their guests and charge them additional fees. In addition to this , our toilet had to be unclogged multiple times during our stay. One of the worst experiences I have ever had staying in Montauk.

This location is a hidden gem! Peaceful and relaxing, with the most beautiful sunset views! The location is excellent, located in the Montauk Harbour, in close proximity to the busy downtown area. I can't wait to visit again.

Pleasant stay, I will definitely be back. Cute room on the water with beautiful views. Very clean and comfortable with the convenience of a kitchenette. Just a short ride to town. Highly recommend.

Stayed here 11/06 - 13/06 -24 Closer to the beach is hard to come by. Wonderful little apartment less than 10 meters from the sea. Airy room with full kitchen. The balcony facing the sea with an amazing view. Missing, however, comfortable sunbeds on the balcony. Can warmly recommend this place. Prons: Heated pool Plenty of parking spaces. The balcony. Wonderful view. Complete kitchen. 7 minutes to Montauk by car. Cons: Reception only during the day. No steps down to the sea. You have to walk for about 5 - 10 minutes to the left of the hotel to reach the beach. Missing sunbeds and parasols. Time share accommodation. Keep in mind that the apartments look different because of this.

Very clean and spacious accommodations in a quiet spot not far from great restaurants. I think Sun & Sound offers budget hospitality with the convenience of excellent dining options. The staff is very friendly and will go out of their way to help. However, it is not on the ocean beach as the marketing suggests. It is situated on the Sound, where a beach is being developed.
