This is our second visit to the Montauk yacht club and we are extremely satisfied. We’re so glad we found our new dog friendly spot in Montauk. The front desk worker, West, was very helpful and pleasant when we checked in. The grounds are beautiful with a lot to do on the property. The rooms are clean and stocked with the essentials. We are looking forward to our next stay! =)

5 stars only thing is the pool closed early. It was very expensive for everything. Breakfast was not included and was overpriced for everything. We even had to rent tennis racquets for the courts.

My only complaint is that the pool for children is very far from the main pool and beach. The property did not advertise the separate pools and it was a bummer as I had my 16 year old daughter with me who did not want to go to a pool with small children yet she was refused at the adult pool.

We spent a Long weekend getaway here in August for my daughter’s 4th birthday. Beautiful resort overlooking the boats and yachts on Lake Montauk. The room was large sized with walkable closet space in the bathroom. Service was excellent. We enjoyed outdoor dinning and breakfast at the Ocean club with a live Dj at the bar. It was a vibrant atmosphere that was enjoyable for adults and fun for our kids (ages 2 and 4). Our friends were able to visit and join us at the pool. Kids enjoyed playing on the beach right on the calm Lake. We also enjoyed a complimentary private boat tour of the lake booked through the concierge. The Location was a nice escape from the crowd in town yet it was a convenient 7 minute drive to town where we spent some time at the beach right on the Ocean and enjoyed several dinning and shopping options.

Lovely hotel a short drive from Montauk. Front desk were friendly. We took the 45 min free boat ride with Captain Jack and he was excellent- very informative and personable. Highlight of the stay. The restaurant was excellent as well. The angry lobster was one of the best dishes! Very clean and well appointed rooms. Great view of the water. Only advice would be to have someone servicing the beach area for towels and more space around the adult pool. Lady in the gift shop was not friendly and very rude but the store was well curated. Luggage bellman was very friendly as well

The property of the Yacht Club is beautiful. Everything looked like it did on the photos, we were very happy with the cleanliness of everything. There are two restaurants on the property and many more within a few minutes drive, which was great. Free Tennis, Paddle Tennsi, Stand-up paddle boarding available. The walls in our rooms (we were staying in a room in one of the cottages/houses) were paper thin and very hear-through, that was our only concern.

Amazing stay; they accommodated early checkin for us. We were able to use bikes on the property and the food at Ocean Club restaurant was really good. Both indoor and outdoor pools were open on May 10th. Will definitely return back.

Although we have always enjoyed our time at the yacht club, this trip did not live up to expectations. The food at the restaurant was sub par, the $114 “amenities fee” is ridiculous as their amenities are largely unavailable. The adult only pool has minimal seating and therefore leaves guests with no where to sit. In general, I am not certain what that $114 fee buys you. Overall, a mediocre time was had.

We had a great stay! The staff was helpful and friendly. The cleanliness of the room and overall property was very good. We ate at the restaurant on property a couple of times, the food was delicious and the views were great. I highly recommend staying at this property.

The room was full of dog hair, the bathroom had dogs bathing in it and the smell was very pungent, the bathroom had the most dog hair in it, room cleanliness and hygiene must be upgraded. Environment and facilities are good.

It was an incredibly expensive room for one night. We were on the second level facing the bar which was pounding music until about midnight. We were coming off a 19 hour day and we’re only there for a night and had to wake-up early am. Impossible to sleep. My husband was awakened in the middle of the night as he was itching on his arms and legs not knowing the cause. Had multiple bites all over arms and legs. Got out of bed there were ants all over the bed. All over the dresser and because our luggage was open on the dresser invaded our luggage and clothing as well. Disgusting. We spoke with the manager Nat who offered us breakfast , we had already had breakfast and paid for it. There was no other attempt to rectify the situation. There is no way we should have had to pay for that room. The private beach is very tiny. We had to find a guy who was hiding and on his phone and ask him for chairs. He didn’t say a word covered the chairs and didn’t give us towels. People were arguing over chairs, people were smoking cigarettes and cigars. The whole experience was a disaster. Needed to shower after checkout time before leaving. The shower in the spa/indoor pool area was disgusting. They should be ashamed to charge that kind of money for what they are offering.

We loved our quick getaway for spring break. The indoor heated pool was a win for our 2 girls. The pool staff was professional (brought us towels, opened and held the door for us). The hotel is beautiful with lots of little hangout areas. Our girls loved exploring the property. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We loved the decor, the bathroom and the balcony. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to come back! Only suggestion is to add a vending machine somewhere so the kids can grab a snack.

Be very careful what view you book. Spend the extra $150 for marina view. What they call a “courtyard view” and the pictures they posted of what we were getting were not at all accurate. It shows a nice lawn area but you get a view of the parking lot where people throw poop bags.

The rooms are musty/damp. Beds are full size/too small for 2 pp per bed. Closets are inside bathrooms-not good layout. A/c right next to bed so you freeze at night. Need to leave a/c on to get rid of damp feeling. There was sewage coming up in the parking lot 2 days.

Beautiful place, with nice bar and bar staff, and beautiful restaurant. Food was good to very good. But, they did not bring out the humus 2 of us ordered, nor the shrimp ordered with my pasta. And the manager did not come to discuss this. Could have better service and managerial oversight. Also, room was great - except for the loud people above us, and very thin and squeaky floors. Get the top floor room!

There is no way we should have had to pay for that room. The private beach is very tiny. We had to find a guy who was hiding and on his phone and ask him for chairs. He didn’t say a word covered the chairs and didn’t give us towels. People were arguing over chairs, people were smoking cigarettes and cigars. The whole experience was a disaster. Needed to shower after checkout time before leaving. The shower in the spa/indoor pool area was disgusting. They should be ashamed to charge that kind of money for what they are offering.

Incredible experience from the concierge assistance for check in and dinner reservations through Bridget and Aadil, and the front desk who helped with literally anything we needed or had questions about. The entire staff, wait service, and chef made our dining experience one to remember (Chefs Table highly recommend to reserve for anyone looking for a unique and personable dinner with some interactions). They truly made you feel welcome and did the absolute best to ensure you had the best possible stay. Daksha was extremely accommodating and always checked on us or helped us whenever we crossed paths. We cant wait to go back.

We flew in from out of town to stay at the Montauk Yacht Club with my sister and our husbands to celebrate our anniversaries. The only reason they even received one star was because the property itself is beautiful. Our room was on the first level and was right on the beach with a view of the water and boat docks. Check-in process was great. I don't know the gentleman's name that helped us but, he was so helpful and personable. After check-in everything went downhill. Around midnight Sunday the guests next door to us started arguing and slamming their door. They were arguing so loud we could hear every foul word that came out of their mouths and then when the door slammed, they slammed it so hard our room shook. This went on until the last time I called the front desk around 5:36am. So, between around 12:30am and 5:36am not a single person answered the front desk phone so we could make a complaint. Not only is it disturbing that not a single person called us back, but our safety clearly was not a concern. We spoke to the front desk agent and manager, Natalier Santiago the morning we checked out. It was a waste of time since neither could care less not even an apology. Mr.Santiago stated he had the call log and that someone answered our call at 9:00am. Yes, 4 1/2 hours after my last call that went unanswered. This by far was the worst experience I've ever had and I hope no other guests ever have to be endure what we had to. Our anniversary night was ruined.

Lovely hotel a short drive from Montauk. Front desk were friendly. We took the 45 min free boat ride with Captain Jack and he was excellent- very informative and personable. Highlight of the stay. The restaurant was excellent as well. The angry lobster was one of the best dishes! Very clean and well appointed rooms. Great view of the water. Only advice would be to have someone servicing the beach area for towels and more space around the adult pool. Lady in the gift shop was not friendly and very rude but the store was well curated. Luggage bellman was very friendly as well

Great off the strip place to hideout in Montauk. Driveable to the strip, scenic dining spots but does boast a great restaurant, beach on Lake Montauk and amazing views. A touch pricy but what isn't these days.

We spent a Long weekend getaway here in August for my daughter’s 4th birthday. Beautiful resort overlooking the boats and yachts on Lake Montauk. The room was large sized with walkable closet space in the bathroom. Service was excellent. We enjoyed outdoor dinning and breakfast at the Ocean club with a live Dj at the bar. It was a vibrant atmosphere that was enjoyable for adults and fun for our kids (ages 2 and 4). Our friends were able to visit and join us at the pool. Kids enjoyed playing on the beach right on the calm Lake. We also enjoyed a complimentary private boat tour of the lake booked through the concierge. The Location was a nice escape from the crowd in town yet it was a convenient 7 minute drive to town where we spent some time at the beach right on the Ocean and enjoyed several dinning and shopping options.

We were very disappointed to learn that the resort kitchen was not operating and that food was prepared in a food truck in the parking lot. There were no options for breakfast or lunch and the limited and costly dinner option. We should have been advised prior to our and the meal cost should have been adjusted accordingly.
