I was surprised by the size of the room. It had a kitchenette which I was not expecting. The bed was comfortable, and the room was very clean, the bathroom was also large and clean.. It was quiet at night. I had a very comfortable relaxing stay. It’s one of the few places in Brooklyn that offer on site parking which was also a convenience.

The hotel provided a decent stay. I was able to get comfortable quickly. They conserve energy by leaving the air conditioning off and I did like that. The parking deck or garage they have was full by the time I arrived, but I was able to find parking on the cross street with no issue. When I left on my check out day, I did not stop by the front desk. I usually don't, I just leave as my stay has ended. Around 5PM, I received a phone call asking if I checked out. I thought that was kind of weird considering I left at 11AM and it was so late now, and was already in another state. I was not sure what happened there, but overall, I would stay again.

Was told there are 3 parking spots , first come first serve,, when we got there they said oh they are rented out, we had to park over 2 blocks away, the CO detector went off at 4am the guy literally rip it out of the ceiling causing lights to go out in room, who ever cleans the room is not very good,, there was a ball of black curly hair aside the nightstand on the floor, windows were horribly dirty, has a efficiency kitchen but NO dishes cups etc, the coffee is INSTANT,, very gross. The only friendly desk person was the young lady on the evening shift, definitely not worth the Over $450 we paid for 2 nights…

This hotel is not as described. The rooms are not sound proof - we constantly heard the tv in the room next door. The gym is closed. Breakfast is only some days of the week, during a very short time window, and sometimes didn't get delivered on the days it was supposed to be on. The rooms have a kitchen, but not a single utensil, plate, bowl, pot or pan - completely useless! And the 24 hour business centre is just some chairs in the lobby area. The housekeeper and most of the front desk staff were friendly, and it was clean, but most of the description is misleading.

This was my second time in New York (but first time alone) and my stay at Pointe Plaza Hotel was absolutely fantastic! Great location with plenty of bus stops just around the corner and a subway station within a ten minute walk (plus great restaurants nearby as well). The staff were amazing and so helpful. They helped me carry my luggage to my room on the third floor since the elevator was broken down when I arrived, they offered me a bottle of water and so on. Would give them all ten stars if I could! The breakfast at the hotel was amazing, and my room was always clean when I came back from a long day of exploring the city, which I really appreciate. Overall, my stay here was lovely. And I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting NYC! I’ll definitely be staying here again the next time I’m in NYC!

Hotel is in complete disrepair. My room was on the third floor but the elevators would not work correctly - it did this thing where you had to select another floor first and then would bring you to the third. It was confusing and annoying The fitness center of you want to call it that was tiny and dirty. The cardio machines were both broken. There were leftover popcorn and snacks from prior guests still in the cupboards I will not be back

Building was alright. Staff was quick to check me in. For the price it was a good deal. Depending on what you are doing, uber rides can be used to not have to deal with the traffic. No on site parking, but there were parking garages very close to the hotel for an alright price

The first room we checked in was completely full of dust the best part of staying here was definitely the staff if they took care of a few things maintenance wise I think this place has amazing potential. One guest complained of having their sink flood, and no one had used it yet our first rum, which was supposed to be a sweet was dusty and dirty.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were made daily and we had fresh towels daily. There was a kitchen but we couldn’t use it to its full potential as there were no pots and pans, plates, cutlery etc.. We didn’t try the breakfast as we were out into Manhattan early exploring. We were able to leave our bags at the hotel after checking out which was useful as our flight was much later! The subway wasn’t too far away. The area felt very safe! We would definitely stay again!

Dirty. Walls are all chipped. Just an old hotel that needs remodeling. Not sound proof rooms at all. Overall would not stay again. Was only 20 min walk from brooklyn storehouse but would rather take a uber from a nicer hotel in the future. Overall hotel needs major remodeling.

Got in late Friday front desk was very helpful. I was able to park on the street until Monday morning. This hotel is in Hasidic Jewish community so we learned some things by looking up on google. They were walking everywhere. Felt very safe. Room was clean looking, sheets were fresh, bed was comfortable multiple pillows. There was someone’s sock and a pill under the bed when we got there, guess that wasn’t checked or vacuumed. The bathroom sink was moveable on its pedestal. The hot water takes 2min to get to 4th floor. They had travel shampoo conditioner soap and a toothbrush facial tissues and extra tp. The A/C unit didn’t seem to regulate right it was cooler outside but even on 67 didn’t seem to get cold. WiFi worked but didn’t really use it. Would recommend hotel!

It wasn't terrible, but it certainly wasn't terrific. The room was clean and spacious, however there was not a single utensil in the "fully functioning kitchen" - sure it may have worked, but who travels with a frying pan? Or plates? That was really frustrating. Many things were just slightly broken - the lift, the curtains, the bed frame had a piece of metal sticking out that I cut myself on multiple times. Breakfast was fine - not much option really, 2 cereals and bagels (of the 4 options, 1 was unavailable the whole time). Only available from 7.30am to 9am and not on Saturdays, it felt limited. The location is good, plenty of options for public transport, very loud though (that's not exclusive to here - it is New York after all). Overall we were disappointed with most things for what we paid, it wasn't horrible, but not great for the price.

It felt like I was sleeping outside because it was very noisy with the windows closed. The beds were very short and not comfortable. The breakfast was not good at all, only bagels were offered. The woman who served it was yelling at everyone. The staff at the front desk was not helpful or friendly. All in all, it was a really bad experience.

Our stay at Pointe Plaza Hotel was top notch!!! Fodil was amazing and an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was a lifesaver w finding parking, personally helping take our luggage in, and was extremely helpful and accommodating throughout our stay! 💜 I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a hotel outside of the main city who appreciates amazing staff and a unique, trendy, current hotel room. The bathroom fixtures were so cool, the high ceilings and windows made the room feel so much bigger. A close friend of mine who lives in Queens came to visit us at the hotel. When I booked it initially she had suggested staying in a different neighborhood, in Brooklyn proper. Once she visited, she said I had found a hidden gem!! If we return to NY, we will definitely be staying here again and hoping that Fodil is still there!!!

This was my second time in New York (but first time alone) and my stay at Pointe Plaza Hotel was absolutely fantastic! Great location with plenty of bus stops just around the corner and a subway station within a ten minute walk (plus great restaurants nearby as well). The staff were amazing and so helpful. They helped me carry my luggage to my room on the third floor since the elevator was broken down when I arrived, they offered me a bottle of water and so on. Would give them all ten stars if I could! The breakfast at the hotel was amazing, and my room was always clean when I came back from a long day of exploring the city, which I really appreciate. Overall, my stay here was lovely. And I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting NYC! I’ll definitely be staying here again the next time I’m in NYC!

You get what you paid for. Great for the price however the surrounding neighborhood is quite boring, which really was not a problem as long as you're ok with walking 15 minutes to the subway or taking the bus! Would recommend all things considered if budget is a factor for you!

The hotel was lovely, the staff were super friendly and the rooms were cleaned daily. Overall a fantastic experience. The subway is about 13minute walk away but the upside of being outside of Manhattan is that its nice and quiet at night.

I thought the hotel was great. It was spotlessly clean, well maintained, and hotel staff went so above and beyond. Its not glamorous but it’s a perfectly adequate hotel in a quiet, safe neighborhood. I had to trek a bit north to the non-Hasidic part of Williamsburg to find food and drink (I’m gluten free so no bagels for me!) but I was within walking distance of several transit stations and I felt extremely safe as a woman travelling alone at night. It was a very cool experience in such a unique neighborhood.

Great hotel! Situated in a very safe neighbourhood in Brooklyn with basic amenities minutes away. Subway into Manhattan is a 15 minute walk away, bus to Downtown Brooklyn is outside or you can walk 15 minutes to Clinton Hill / Forte Green where you will find lots of great restaurants, pubs and bars. The room was a great size and we even had a view of the Manhattan skyline! The bed was the comfiest bed ever and the towels were changed daily as well as them providing toiletries. The breakfast bagel was a nice touch, especially as you can take it to go. The staff were helpful and even leant us a socket adapter for our stay as we thought there would have been USB charging points so didn’t bring one - completely our fault and quickly fixed by the friendly staff!

It felt like I was sleeping outside because it was very noisy with the windows closed. The beds were very short and not comfortable. The breakfast was not good at all, only bagels were offered. The woman who served it was yelling at everyone. The staff at the front desk was not helpful or friendly. All in all, it was a really bad experience.

Rate was jacked up due to the holiday so not a great value for the price. Not a lot of restaurants around....just cafes and bakeries. Very basic breakfast. Instant coffee instead of brewed. Safe neighborhood with families.

The night shift staffs (two gentleman) were very helpful and polite. What we encountered in the 21st morning was a different story. We flighted from West to East and we were told the breakfast ends at 9:30am. It was our fault without check on the door card which indicating ends 9am. We arrived at front desk at 9:01am, one of the lady staff (Rauda?) told us it’s closed at 9am, after explaining the misunderstanding, she was unwillingly taking us to the dinning room. There still had some people, occupied a few tables. She prepared bagels for us. We wanted to sit there quickly finish it and leave along with other customers. And we wouldn’t mess up our hotel room as well. This lady yelled at us: you have to leave but they can stay because you come after 9am. The whole time, she didn’t wear any smile on her face. Would we stay at this hotel again? Of course not.

This hotel is not as described. The rooms are not sound proof - we constantly heard the tv in the room next door. The gym is closed. Breakfast is only some days of the week, during a very short time window, and sometimes didn't get delivered on the days it was supposed to be on. The rooms have a kitchen, but not a single utensil, plate, bowl, pot or pan - completely useless! And the 24 hour business centre is just some chairs in the lobby area. The housekeeper and most of the front desk staff were friendly, and it was clean, but most of the description is misleading.
