Comfort Inn Miramar Beach-Destin

The property was fine. I didn’t realize they didn’t have a pool. The elevator does a jolt of a drop when going. We only received 2 towels for a group of 4. I asked for 2 more towels and the front desk lady looked at me and said “we don’t have anymore” … I felt like that was wild. Upon checkout, they started knocking on our door at 9AM asking when we were leaving and our checkout time was 11am. When I told her our checkout time - she replied “I’ll just stand here and wait” - I just really felt like that was strange. Other than that, it was fine.

Sharing our family experience ,family of 4. The front lady was super friendly and tried to help, but it still didn't save the state of the hotel itself. The rooms are incredibly small, the walls and bedding are dirty, the water in the bathtub didn't drain, the water pressure was very weak. There wasn't even hand soap in the room. The washing and drying machines were broken, there was no way to wash the swim suits and beach towels.

Staff was friendly met new GMand she was very nice. Floors in lobby need waxing bath tub planks squeeking and worst of all the elevator was down.we were told someine was on the way at 12p and by 10p nobody had come by check out the elevator was still down. This was terrible for me with 2 small kids a sister with a vad back and carrying many bags

The elevator broke down and the hotel was full. Very bad in case of fire. Not fixed over night. Had to drag all the luggage down the stairs. The shining light is your front desk lady. She was amazing and handled it very professionally. She did a great job with all the commotion going on. Fire department and everything!!

The hotel was under renovation and they never mention that at the time of the reservation. The lobby was a totally mess and on top of that the room was extremely small. It was totally diferent than the picture and description in the website. Very bad experience!

Fine for my one night stay but I would not stay here again. Bathroom was clean. Beds were clean and comfy. But there were places that I noticed needed attn. Carpet was iffy. Around nightstand, bed frame, fridge, etc. was dusty and had crumbs. Overall it looks like they really just half way clean on a regular basis for it to get to that point. Elevator was broken. I saw a hotel employee who was dragging a leaking trash bag on the carpeted floor down the hall, which kind of solidified that they don't really care enough to clean properly.

Check in was fine, but when we got to our room it had an awful smell. I went back to the front desk and De'Marc was working. He came to the room and found it to be a bad smell also, so he then gave us another room. The hotel was in renovation, so the front lobby was a construction zone. The front sliding door was broken, so every time you walked into the hotel, you have to manually slide the door open. It confused a lot of guests. The breakfast was held in room 104 and then you could set down to eat in room 105 across the hall. The elevator was extremely slow and the elevator permit that was posted inside the elevator was expired last August of 2023. It seemed like the elevator was stuck, but just so slow.

I only booked one night as soon as i checked in i was told the elevator was out. Not good with me having a handicapped person on the trip. We didnt even take our luggage to room due to climbing the stairs

Washer and dryer’s did not work, there was no cold water, room service was requested but they did not come until their “scheduled day”, when room service did come the left one drying towel for the entire room, one day we got new sheets to change ourselves and didn’t receive a fitted sheet, window shades were inoperable and they said they ordered more and could not fix them. Shampoo and conditioner dispensers were broken in one room

Hotel itself was nice, clean, and has a great location. Staff was helpful. Only issue was the carpet in the room was so dirty our feet would turn dark after walking on it. It really needs a professional deep clean, as well as the walls need to be wiped down.

Booked the hotel for a great price! Staff were nice. The location is close to the beach and places to shop and eat. Haven’t had the free breakfast, so I couldn’t speak on that. However I didn’t like the hotel itself. I can tell it’s an older building. My room had a lot of marks on the walls. It was dirt in certain places that accumulated cause it was never clean. The room felt very dirty. I do my own cleaning at every hotel I stay at, for a piece of mind and it seems like housekeeping did a poor job cleaning. The floor in the bathroom was disgusting. I don’t walk barefoot in hotels but my kids don’t listen and do. It was still leftover hair from previous guests in the bathroom and room. So not a horrible stay but definitely didn’t feel too comfortable because I know it was not clean to my standard. Don’t think I would stay again.

We stayed one night at this property, the room claimed to have 2 queen beds which were more like full beds. The carpet was dirty and the floors in the bathroom probably havent been mopped in a few weeks. Had to wear shoes to go anywhere in the room. Glad our stay was only one night if not we would be canceling and finding another hotel.

The staff was very inviting and attentive, however; We will never stay here again for the following reasons: dirty carpets, AC in hallways out for our ENTIRE stay (4 days) We asked about it everyday and was told it would be fixed day after day. It was HOT, and as someone with asthma, this was a huge struggle! … we never received room service after we requested it on the second day and every day after. Food options were poor (only pork as a meat option) , the cleaning staff that we did see were leaned over on their carts on their phone for quite some time. To top it off, our bed sheets were dirty Never again!

We enjoyed our stay at the comfort inn. The property was nicely updated, and the rooms were very clean. We only were able to stay one day but it is a hotel that I would consider staying at for a longer term. All the folks that worked at the hotel were very friendly.

ay wasn't vacuumed and trash on the floor. The carpet in my room looked like it hadn't been vacuumed for two months. The floor in the bathroom and near the front door looked it been swept or mopped for a long time. Hair over over the bathroom floor. Uncleaned toilet with urine under the seat at the shower was dirty. I requested that my room be cleaned, but the manager said that it couldn't be cleaned until the next day. Luckily, I bring my own cleaning supplies. I had to spray and clean the floor toilet and shower with bathroom cleaner spray and a sponge. It took me about 30 minutes to do what the cleaning staff failed to do for at least two months.

Coffee spot next door is damnnn good. 2 complaints we have are hall ways were hot. And shower had hair on walls.

We had a rather unfortunate stay at the comfort inn. To start, we inspected the sheets of the beds and they were riddled with stains. It seems the sheets were washed but obviously not well enough, we asked for a second set of sheets and they gave us some. Unfortunately these sheets had the same amount (if not more) of various stains and splotches. Secondly I opened the mini fridge to put my medicine and water in, only to find the previous hotel guests leftover seafood boil in the fridge. This was absolutely disgusting and left anything in the fridge to smell like old food. Overall it was sleepable, but hardly. Some say you get what you pay for, but for the price this hotel charge's a night I expect decent sheets and clean amenities.

This hotel was great. It’s only about a five minute drive from the Miramar public beach access. Staff was friendly and accommodated anything that we needed. The only thing was that our bed was not fully made when we checked in (pillow cases were not replaced and the pillows were out of place). I told the front desk and they fixed the problem immediately with no issues. The wifi wasn’t the best, but it didn’t matter much as we just needed a place to lie our head on for the night. I would definitely come back!

This looks like a recently renovated hotel that is very compact. The rooms are small but well-designed. The staff was polite, but not overly friendly. Our room had a torn window shade and we had to be moved to a different room where the TV didn't work, either. Breakfast was hit or miss, some food was decent, some of it was terrible. Overall it's not a bad place if you're on on a brief stay. If you're staying longer, go find someplace else.

Very clean room and bathroom, comfortable beds, good location. The TV didn’t work and we contacted front desk and they immediately sent someone to fix it. The only con is that there is no water pressure in the shower.

The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We only stayed one night, and getting a great rate at the last minute for two rooms worked out greatly.

Our first room, #109 smelled like urine and Pine Sol. Akeema, who was very nice checked another room for us and it was the same. She found us another room, #215 which didn’t stink. The bathroom fan sounded like a freight train and the shower was not much more than a drizzle. We’re not going to book Comfort Inn again. Akeema and the staff were fine but the overall facilities were below average.

The hotel was simple and clean. Fair price, however on the small side. It was a bit of a tight squeeze with our baggages. I had to move the desk chair to the corner of the room just to get to the other side.

Front desk workers were very attentive and helpful. The room was much smaller than it looked on the pictures. There is not much counter space in the bathroom. The location of the hotel is perfect and this made our stay much better. This room is great for overnight but after a four day stay it gets really cramped. Overall we enjoyed our stay here!

Rooms are veryyy small with no closet. There is no ice maker on the 1st floor. Only on the 2nd and 3rd, and the 2nd floor one was broke. Very inconvenient. On my last day, most of the breakfast items were gone and I was told they could not replenish them because the truck was not coming in until another day.

I spoke with 2 staff members about the air not working in my room. When I checked in the room wasn’t very cool but somehow I thought it would improve during my stay. Nope, checked out today with room temperature at 80’. Please also improve on the breakfast meat patties and the eggs. My 2nd stay at property, maybe again but not sure.

This place was below average.Room was very small.The tub did not drain while taking a shower.The very tiny shampoo was half used up already.The carpet was sticky in spots.Dont go barefoot.The walls were paper thin.You could hear the person snoring nextdoor. The breakfast was not good.However, the AC was adjustable and very cold. There were many pillows that were comfortable. The bed was also comfortable. The bathroom was very clean.

The staff was super friendly. The gentleman who checked us in, I believe his name was Russ, was great! Very friendly and helpful.

My daughter and I arrived much later at airport in Destin on 8/24 than we were supposed to as a result of mechanical issues with our 1st plane making us have a 4 hour delay which meant our connecting flight had to be rebooked. To say the least we were exhausted from a very long day. Upon our arrival to the Comfort Suites @ Miramar Beach we were greeted by the amqzing Hotel Manager Donna and her very kind front desk man Russ. They could tell we had had a day and our interactions with them was like a warm southern welcoming hug. We have enjoyed our 2 night stay immensely and will miss Donna and Russ and all the friendly staff we've encountered. Highly recommend this hotel - the staff went above and beyond for us to have an enjoyable first 2 days in Destin!

Employee at front desk, Russ was extremely outgoing. Made me feel welcome and appreciated for choosing the Comfort location. Because of him I will choose this location again.

From the moment I walked into this hotel, I regretted booking it. The entire lobby reeked of cigarette smoke, which was an immediate red flag. The front desk clerk, in a clearly desperate attempt to boost their ratings, offered to waive my deposit if I agreed to leave a 5-star review before I had even seen the room. That alone speaks volumes about the state of this property. Shockingly, during check-in, I was never even asked for ID. The front desk clerk simply asked, "Is your name [my name]?" and when I said yes, she handed me the keys. That means anyone could have walked in, claimed to be me, and been given access to the room. This is a huge security issue and shows how careless the staff is when it comes to guest safety.Once I entered the room, the cigarette smell was overpowering, despite having specifically booked a non-smoking room. Worse yet, both privacy shades were broken and lying on the floor, meaning the room was completely exposed to outside view and early morning sunlight. The front desk said there were no other rooms available and that maintenance had already left for the night. So, after a 7-hour drive, we were stuck in a smoky room with zero privacy or functional window coverings and no resolution.The clerk apologized, saying they hadn’t realized it was supposed to be a non-smoking room and made a half-hearted attempt to fix the blinds, but nothing worked. Terra said they don’t give refund no matter what issues a guest experiences there.

Very attractive. Everything was clean and new and worked perfectly. Breakfast was ample, and the staff was outstandingly nice. A special thank you to Terra, who did her best to accommodate us with every request.

Everyone had a smile on their face and was very helpful!! Will definitely be back.

SAM! She is a great representative for your business — careful, cautious, concerned — a real professional. Give that girl a raise … she makes your business shine! I stayed during LADYWORLD and Pop2000K Miramar Beach Concert series with TOPEKA and I loved the property. It was very clean, modern, and most of all, very safe. Also, it is a short drive to the beach and to Outcast seafood. There is also a washer dryer on premises, second floor beyond the elevators. Shout out to Sam and all the staff who make this a really nice property.

This was close to the beach and accessible to many of the restaurants.

A clean newer hotel, with a good bed, nice rooms, and great location as a stop over hotel. Not walkable to beaches or anything like that, but with a car, it’s right near an Outlet mall, and lots of restaurants. We were just passing through. Staff were very accomIodating, and check in was quick. I would gladly recommend this hotel to others.

Hotel was okay, staff was friendly. Only issue was the noise and hardly any breakfast. There was two baseball teams staying there, breakfast didn't stand a chance. My only complaint was that the staff could have made more food.

The beds were comfortable that room was clean. The bathroom was spotless and we've really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Which most of the time I never eat anywhere but the eggs were good and the bacon was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful and conveniently located for the venue. We were going to be going to. Would definitely stay there again.

Fire alarm went of at 4:00 AM. Someone was smoking. I tipped house keeping to be sure clean towels…Very nice. I felt price was high for not having hair dryer that worked. No pool, One morning ran out of breakfast eggs & bacon. Towel bar broken.

It was nice having the hot coffee ready 24 hours. And the morning staff on the first day was friendly. And the breakfast was great.
