Our main issue was that the indoor pool and spa which is why we picked this location was in poor condition. The pool was very cold and so was the hot tub. The switch to turn on didn't work. This was the main reason we went the. On top of that all all ice and cole machines were out of order

The hotel has a nice, contemporary design, and the rooms are comfortable. However, the walls are quite thin—I could hear my neighbors’ conversation and even their movie choice. So, don’t forget to bring earplugs if you want a good night’s sleep! The price is fair, and the breakfast is standard, but the dining area feels cozy and welcoming. The indoor pool was cold, though they do have a hot tub. I also wish the pool had more lighting, as it felt pretty dark.

I have been staying here for the past few years. The property is slowly decaying, many facilities out of order, carpets are stained, all vending machines out of order, Ice machines empty, front desk is disorganized and a physical mess. So sad to see no money or attention being reinvested into a rather new property.

I understand they were renovating while we were there but the construction equipment shouldn't be laying in the hallway. There are plenty of unoccupied rooms to store this equipment in during the renovation. The surrounding property is a little sketchy at night as the workers just prop the pool door open for anyone to come in and out of. We closed the door because the pool area was freezing but some crazy old MAGA hat dude came in and propped it back open again and walked out. Needless to say, I'm in no hurry to stay at Wingate again... it's right down there with our LaQuinta stay but at least their renovation was being done cleanly and didn't cost near as much. Disappointed that J didn't find somewhere a bit cleaner and more convenient. The staff was fine and did their job without hassle so my hat is off to them.

The carpets and chairs were dirty. The desk chair had a broken arm. The list of accommodations was to have a coffee pot and coffee in the room, the clerk told us we had come to lobby to get coffee. The first day the pool and hot tub were dirty looked the yellow algae. Won’t ever stay

As soon as we walked into the lobby, instantly pleased! Smelled super clean and this continued throughout the hallways, elevator, and our room. Then at breakfast, I met Ella. Very nice, friendly, and informative of the area surrounding the hotel. Definitely, will be staying here, again. In fact, I’ve decided to make this the host hotel for an upcoming family reunion! Thank you, Ella Pennie! Great asset to the hotel!

You can tell that the room had been cleaned. There was white stuff on the skirt of bed. The sheets were stained, a/c wasnt working properly. Carpet very stained. Wont be staying there again. I read many revies that yall charge peoples cards more then once for rooms.

Terrible hotel!! Do not stay here. Rooms are very dirty. Stains on carpets, lamp shades, walls and furniture. We were here with several other families for a youth sports tournament and it wasn’t just our room that was bad. One of the other families has a bathroom door with a giant hole in the door. Definitely do no recommend. Staff was not helpful at all. Rooms smelled musty. Hotel is just trash.

I was disappointed in the quality of the room. There was a bad smell, the carpet was stained, and the linens did not smell good. Smelled like they were soured in the laundry, dried and put on the bed anyway. The staff was not rude but they were not friendly either. Breakfast was so-so, coffee was good.

Upon arrival the front desk was polite but didn't tell us anything about breakfast hours. We got into the room later that night after our game and the sink in the bathroom would drain and the beds were incredibly uncomfortable, pillows were terrible and the TV was tiny. Im not expecting a 70in but a 24 in is pretty small. Will not return to this property.

Overall, the stay accommodations were average. Nothing spectacular about the breakfast - food was average and stocking seemed to be an issue. Ice machines on three of our floors did not work. Bathroom faucet dripped. Main issue was the mattress - it was passed due to be changed out. The body indentions were most prevalent. Will stay at a different hotel on my next trip to Frisco.

It was a VERY VERY TERRIBLE experience with the front office guest services person during my stay for almost 3 days. This front office guest services lady by name, Shweta(is what she said when i asked her) was MORE THAN RUDE when i asked about my forgotten Braun brand of electric tooth brush. When i was trying to make her understand about how important the customer service, she says NO it's your responsibility and calling me names literally. THis is a POOREST OF POOR services that i ever lived in any hotel for last 21 years.

The hotel stay was nice and the person who checked me in was kind also. However, some of the other staff members that I came across did not appear to be people friendly or welcoming; more irritated than anything. They may be good people, but that was not my experience. This was my first visit and possibly my last. Not because of the facility but because of lack of welcoming during my experience.

This is my favorite hotel to stay at in Plano. I am making frequent trips for post back surgery. It is always super clean and the beds are comfie. It is also 10 minutes from my Doctor's office. Super convenient.

Close to OCC/One Community Church. Alot of great restaurants in the area. Try the local eateries, the 3 or 4 that we tried was amazing. Was here for Christmas and Christmas eve and it was super quiet even tho Sam Rayburn Toll way is 300 yards from the front door.

They claimed their “included breakfast” was down because of the “heater” for dishes in the kitchen. I’m curious if it’s just an excuse to not have to fund that. I chose an “breakfast included” hotel for the reason of saving money while traveling, only to be shown a paper sign on the checkin desk stating “breakfast will have limited options.” Here is what they had: bite sized muffins, bread for toast, and apples. That’s it.

The staff was friendly and quick to help. The breakfast was okay, the two things I would have liked to see is Orange Juice instead of Sunny D and have some variety from day to day, We stayed for 4 days and it was exactly the same every day. They don't have mattress covers on the beds and when a sheet fell off the corner a big brown stain was exposed, not my favorite thing to think about right below the sheet I'm sleeping on.
