The room was clean and spacious however it had a very strong smell (intentional deodorizer) that was a little overwhelming. The ac was set to 65, mini split “said” 70 and it was absolutely freezing!!! I couldn’t figure out how to turn it up at 1am! Also that same ac unit made a noise every 10 minutes the entire time! I’m a light sleeper so I think I saw the clock the last time at 3:39am. Otherwise we had a blast in Islamorada!

Stayed 5 nights

We stayed at Coconut Cove for 5 nights and loved every minute. The resort is a bit dated, but it's a tradeoff we gladly made. It still very much had it's old world charm. There are not a lot of units and so it is very quiet. Many times we had the pool to ourselves. The pool itself is in excellent condition, and was very clean. The beachfront (not really a beach but still a great place to launch a kayak) is a perfect place to watch the sunrise. The resort chickens & rooster were a nice surprise. They made for some very nice company, lol. My only complaint was the limited selection of breakfast items. All in all though, it was a great value for the money.
