I asked for pancakes with blueberries, butter, no maple syrup Fresh orange juice and a pot of hot water because I had my own teabags. The orange juice was indeed fresh. The pancakes have a blueberry jam on them and we’re drowning in maple syrup. There was no pot of hot water. I sent the pancakes back. When they returned, they had chunks of cold water on the side as well as blueberry jam. The pot of hot water was delivered separately and without cup, and saucer to go with it. I couldn’t take the time to send it back again My main objection however to the St. Vincent is that they ought to either admit that their Decorator had no idea what hotel guests want and change what was done, or supply miners lights to all its guests! The bedrooms are painted chocolate brown, and have very dim and scarce lighting! The bathrooms are red and pink, and have equally dim lighting and no make up light. Even when you ask for extra lamps, which I did twice you get tall lamps that shine at the ceiling and no light in the closet so you can figure out what clothes you’re putting on This was my third and last stay at the St. Vincent and I only stayed there this time because I couldn’t get into the hotel I wanted to stay at. The restaurants are excellent, and the staff are all extremely nice, but no one should stay overnight in my opinion!!

This is a beautiful hotel. Clean and great service. We had a little issue with an item missing in our room and the staff memebers were very helpful and responsive to the situation.

Loved our stay here - 4 splendidly comfortable and quiet nights in a huge fabulous bed in a splendidly restored building. Local coffee served each morning, plus access to Elizabeth Street Cafe, which had the most amazing pastries !
