Clean and apparently recently renovated rooms were very nice. There didn’t seem to be an elevator to the second floor rooms. Nice (small) beach but swimming only in the pool not the ocean. A nice inexpensive option for short stays.

The room was just fine, new fixtures, clean & comfortable & staff was all good. The 2 negative issues on our 2 night stay is the pool was closed, some electrical issue. Also lots of deep road work going on right in front which made traffic and access & noise problems and lots of slippery mud in parking areas.

Overall the property was nice, but other than that it was bad. there was no shade at the pool, looked like the umbrellas that were in the stands had been removed, we never had coffee in the room after being told they were working on it for days. There was no staff on site or by phone between 8:00 pm and 8:00am We saw a guest literally have to break into his room and another group get into a fight that kept many of us up. People were in the pool and playing loud music till very late at night even though it was closed at 8:00 pm and the staff would only clean rooms by request.

Absolutely horrible grounds as they boast about a pool, it was drained and out of service, never noted at tone of reservation nor at any point during my 3 calls to the property. Beach front access , perhaps if you are spider man and can leap over the 6-10 foot boulders or have your captains li ends to drive a boat thru the marsh to get to the beach.

Pool area was filthy. The pool water was hot. The AC in our room wasn’t working and we had to move to a different room. We originally had 2 King beds and then had 2 full beds in the new room. The AC still wasn’t very good. The shades on the lamps were torn and one of them didn’t have a switch to turn it on. The balcony had old cups and the floor was sticky. We’d love some kind of refund!

After driving 6 hours, I spent the first 10 minutes sweeping my room. An area of crushed chips greeted us as we stepped inside. I shared with the front desk that the room had clearly not been vacuumed and was handed a broom. Beyond the chips there are as the large toe nail on the floor near the bed. Then later that evening, the sand on the floor of the shower. Our last night there was no hot water. Front desk stated they had to reset the water heater. But the second person to shower still only had warm water. That said, glad we showered before staff left for the night or we would have been left with ice cold water. Will not stay at the Fisher Inn again.

We’ve stayed at this property before and it’s lacking in up keep among other things. The only memorable moment of this stay was the view from the balcony. The electrical switches by the nightstands didn’t work, we had to charge our phones from the kitchenette outlets. There is no closet only a rod to hang belongings. The one light in the bedroom area in a small lamp on the nightstand that is full of rust. And oddly enough the first thing you encounter when you walk in the room is the bed ( this layout was not well thought out) Some of the towels left by housekeeping were ripped on the edges. The bathroom faucet had no water pressure, the shower head had no shower pressure, and there was no where to place your shampoo or conditioner or body wash/ soap. The chairs by the kitchen were worn and ripped, the sofa seat cushions also worn out and ripped. I truly don’t understand how this is worth $360 (without tax) a night. Will not be returning to this property. And I recommend some updates be made for what is being charged. Total disappointment.

To make a long story short the sofa was stained and too low I killed a roach and found a roach egg in the room. We slept with the lights on. I told the front desk and was given a discount. The good was the oceanfront view and the front desk was wonderful especially a young man named Paul.

We arrived about two hours prior to scheduled check in, the gentleman made it seem like I had interrupted his whole day and inconvenienced him. I did not receive my welcome drink that I paid for. We finally checked in changed and left for a wedding rehearsal. That night we discovered anytime you moved in the bed it made a loud scratching noise waking up the room. The next morning my daughter and I went to get breakfast and brought it back to the room. When I realized our trash had never been emptied from the prior guests. When I later saw an employee I asked if we could get our one tiny trash emptied he said “what do you mean” I explained it was overflowing and he said “O there’s a trash can over there or over there” pointing to two trash cans. I had to empty the trash daily myself to prevent it from overflowing. When I was getting ready for the wedding I quickly realized there was one mirror in the entire room and that was inside the bathroom. So it was not possible for more than one person to get ready at a time. There was also no fan in the bathroom so you either had to deal with the humidity or open the window for the world to see you naked. Two days into our stay my husband and daughter where playing in the sand when they discovered a dead rat! Later that evening while eating dinner at the picnic table on the beach we watched raccoons eat from the trash that had not been emptied in the 5 days I had been dumping it out. Overall I would not return!

Horrible experience. Overbooked, but they "recovered" by giving us an upgrade. Toilet ran constantly, bed and fan creaked non stop. Dirty room. Had to clean bathroom floor before using.

The Inn was described as a “Boutique Hotel”, but it lacked charm. We upgraded to an oceanfront room, the view was beautiful. The couch sank in the middle, the only other chair was made of uncomfortable wire. Room had a microwave and small refrigerator. No plates, cups,or silverware. Dish soap is provided but not hand or face soap. Small bottle of body wash only. Breakfast was bread,bagels,water,coffee,juice in small containers, instant oatmeal,granola bar. Cheerios and Raisin Bran ( I think that’s what it was). Housekeeping is not always on premises. Exchange towels ( which were like sheets) at front desk. Average cost per night was $319. and that was during the week. Also, when we checked in 30 minutes after the 4:00 check in time, we entered room and housekeeping was not finished cleaning. It was pouring rain, walked back down to reception where we were given a different room.

We booked a waterfront king suite with a balcony and kitchenette, which was very spacious. The room was very clean and convenient. The "living room" had a sofa and tv and was located next to the balcony. The kitchenette was between the living area and bedroom, opposite the bathroom, which also had a tv. It would have been perfect if not for 2 issues. Firstly, the shower curtain rod was incorrectly installed too high, so that there was a space of about 1" between the bottom of the curtain and the shower pan, allowing water to escape onto the bathroom floor. It was clear from the condition of the vinyl floor tiles and the bottom edge of the bathroom door that this has been a long-term, ongoing problem. Thankfully, we were provided with enough towels to mop up the flooded floor so as to avoid injury. Secondly, the mattress is BADLY in need of IMMEDIATE replacement. The springs were so worn out on my side that they squeaked and groaned with each tiny movement and felt like I was lying in a hole, and I am not heavy. My interactions with the lady at the front desk when I inquired about the location of the ice machine led me to believe that alerting her to my room issues would prove futile. Luckily, these issues didn't greatly impact our enjoyment of the property. The swimming pool, although small, was pleasant and not busy, since most guests spent the day on their boats or jet skis. The breakfast was grab and go continental, which was fine. Overall it was a nice stay

We stayed in the new building, but the A/C unit rattles sounds loud and its very hard to sleep with that noise. Otherwise this place is a gem, and easy walking distance to many things. We will return, just hope you have A/C unit a little quieter!!

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. My complaints - no extra outlets in the room. i had to unplug the only lamp in the room to charge my phone. The top part of outlet did not work either. So, the room was very dark. Also, no soap dish in shower. I had to keep the soap on the shower floor. yuck! Lastly, we got to the “free breakfast”at 9:00. One bagel and 2 slices of bread left. nowhere to sit down if you wanted cereal. The container that was labeled whole milk actually had hot water in it. 🙄 Not well run. A shame because it seems like they are trying.

Enjoyed the stay but a little noisy from either the thin walls or the adjoining door made for a rough night of sleep when your neighbor is drunk and throwing up all night and yelling at his wife. Could hear everything. Only other complaint was the bed was not the most comfortable but everything else was great

I recently had a highly disappointing experience with [Fisher IN], and I feel compelled to share my thoughts. Just 24 hours before my scheduled check-in, I had not received a notification stating that my booking had been canceled due to the hotel overselling their rooms. Needless to say, I was extremely frustrated and immediately reached out to their customer service. What followed was a lengthy argument, during which I insisted on receiving the room I had already paid for. Eventually, after numerous complaints, they arranged for me to be transferred to their partner hotel, Hadley House. However, to my surprise, I was informed that I would have to pay the price difference for this alternative hotel, which was not the one I initially requested. This unexpected cost increase added further frustration and significantly impacted our vacation budget. The entire situation left a sour taste in my mouth and significantly disrupted our travel plans. I believe that overselling bookings is an unacceptable practice, as it shows a lack of consideration for their guests' reservations and undermines the reliability of their service. I appreciate that the hotel eventually arranged for an alternative accommodation, but it should not have come at an additional cost to me. This entire ordeal not only caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience but also soured our overall experience.

Thomas at the front desk was professional & service oriented. The rooms are basic, but comfortable. The location & property pleasant. We checked in on Sunday and checked out on Friday, 5 days. Despite repeated requests to have housekeeping service our room, housekeeping NEVER showed. We were there on business and at the end of a tiring day had to change our own sheets, pick up towels at the office and mopped the floor to our room. Ashley, the mgr, did not respond to my email, nor the 2 verbal messages left with Crystal & Derrick. The main phone line is rarely answered as the hotel has a useless and discouraging communication system. The room keys had to be reprogrammed on 3 different days. But the worst was not having our room attended.

Located right on the ocean. Could soak in the pool with the ocean for a back drop. Kayak and boat launch provided.Outdoor game area provided. Access to great eating places. Access road for options to enter and exit from busy Hwy 1. Nice friendly staff with knowledge of area for recommendations. A very nice stay.

We liked the location of the property. We were right on the water and the hotel offered kayaks to use. We enjoyed exploring the mangroves. They had bicycles to borrow and ride on the convenient bike path in front of the hotel. It was close to Theater by the Sea and restaurants. We walked to Hog Heaven for dinner and enjoyed the live music. The room was large and clean. There was some construction going on next door but not a problem for us. We would return.

Clean, well-maintained property; modern room/bathroom design, comfortable bed. Pleasant view of the ocean from the beach and from certain guest rooms' verandas. Very basic buffet breakfast available (there were no eggs, unlike last year; please consider reinstating the eggs). Nice uncrowded mini-beach, though I found the pop music being played on a beach/pool PA system unnecessary and loud. Friendly staff; there is even a very handsome and friendly orange cat patrolling the premises.

Great location. Front desk person upon check on 5/2 wasn’t very welcoming or friendly. Room was clean, the bathroom sink was semi clogged and needed to have the trap cleaned out so water will drain. Shower water didn’t get real hot, but warm enough. The Continental Breakfast could use a little upgrade. Nice pool and beautiful views. Free kayak and paddle board use. I just feel that for $400.00 plus a night it should be a little nicer.
