Note that it’s a drive to the beach and main shopping. Not the most convenient part of town but walkable to some shops and dining (like McConnells ice cream). This is our 4th visit to the Secret Garden. The courtyard where you can eat breakfast is absolutely beautiful with all the flowers blooming. Breakfast was delicious with very fluffy croissants, fruit, quiche, fresh baked bread like pumpkin bread, and coffee and tea. The rooms are charming.

I loved this place! Wish I could’ve stayed for a week. Breakfast was served to my private patio, and it was delicious. The Jacuzzi hot tub on the patio was such a treat. I will definitely come back when I’m in Santa Barbara.

Charming bed and breakfast. Owner was very welcoming and breakfast excellent. Our only complaint was a broken window shade which resulted in a warm room on a hot day. However, the air conditioning was able to control the temperature, once turned on.

Dominique and her staff are friendly and welcoming. The Secret Garden has a feel of staying at a friends home. Breakfasts are delicious, and location is very convienent to most of what Santa Barbara has to offer, a great and quiet walking neighborhood too. It is important to note there is a sweet cat named Peanut living there, but if you have allergies, be aware!
