Pelicans was a beautiful surprise. A clean & moden feeling unit a short walk from Middleton Beach. The unit was open, modern, light, clean with everything you could want from a small dishwasher to full fridge, washing machine, stove, microwave etc. all clean & well presented. Bathroom was a good size with a decent shower. Great location near the beach with cafes & restaurants a short stroll, along with playgrounds, swimming areas and the boardwalk. Easy short drive into town. Parking was a little tight when full but every unit had a space. Did find the unit to be a little noisy from residential neighbours of a morning but nothing to be too stressed by. Really enjoyed this stay & unit. & was surprised by Albany in general & would highly recommend

The property was clean and tidy. What I thought was going to be a room ended up being a small two bedroom apartment. The bed was comfy, sheets crisp, and the towels thick. Plenty of water pressure and hot water. It’s close to the water. I will definitely go back!

Throughout our journey around WA this was the worst place we stayed at. Make sure you do not get to stay in the Clarence unit. As you lay in bed you can literally hear the every noise coming from the bathroom upstairs. It feels like they are urinating or sh**ting on your head. The bathroom we had smelt and toilet seat needed replacing as it was in very poor condition. The TV in the unit was way too small and the smallest we had on our whole 3 week stay as we travelled around WA. They should have spent a bit more and supplied a better size. We stayed 2 nights which was 2 too many. Do not stay here.

Great property near Middleton Beach - everything we needed was there including a portable oven. A bit disappointed that most of the eating places in the area were either closed or shut down. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Under the bed could do with a vacuum as was very dusty.

From check-in to departure our stay at Pelicans could not be faulted. The room was clean, spacious, well appointed and comfortable. The property is quiet and we had very good sleep. The location near Middleton Beach is excellent. When you stay at Pelicans, do yourself a favour and walk over to Three Anchors for breakfast.

Room was clean and spacious, in good condition. Check-in was almost throw the key at us and that’s it. Disappointed in the room: booked a Premium room expecting a premium experience. However we got a downstairs room in the new block and it had the feeling of a cave. Not a nice outlook. Outdoor seating? A tiny paved space between your aircon and your parked car. To cap it off room 17 features disabled facilities so the bathroom definitely doesn’t have a nice feel - flat floor for accessibility means water from the shower everywhere and the sink is tiny and impractical. Not up to our expectations

Our stay at Pelicans Albany was perfect. We had one of the ground floor executive apartments and it was everything we needed for our one night stay. Clean, well equipped, bed sheets were so soft. King Size bed was lovely. Having a separate living area made for a comfortable night sipping a bottle of wine. The only suggestions we had were to add a mirror somewhere in the bedroom (so it's not just the bathroom), upgrading the size of the TV in the bedroom and procuring thicker bath towels. These are just nice-to-haves, nothing that would stop us coming back. All staff we encountered were lovely with big smiles on their faces. Considering we booked with only 2 days' notice for a public holiday long weekend, I am counting our lucky stars!

Kim was very helpful made a booking for an extra night and she tried to get us into the same room for both nights when she could not she made sure the room we had to move into was ready early, and took our fridge stuff into their fridge when we went out for a trip. Very close to lovely cafes, and restaurants, and the beach.
