Like the location and rooftop view. Walkable to everything. Would be nice if there was an elevator- steep staircase with suitcases is rough. Our room was very tight- door hits bed getting in/out of the room. The bed was not a queen size- was a maybe a full size- very small for my 6’, 275lb husband and myself. The floor of our room has a 25degree slant whixh I. Turn made the bed slant- felt like we were sliding off the tiny bed! The toilet was very tight space-need to sit nearly sideways! The shower was a good size & had great water pressure, although it smelled of constant sewer gas when water was not running. The common areas and kitchen were nice and clean. Parking in the garage was nearby, but be aware that it is Very crowded and very tight to get in/out. The communication with the booking staff is excellent, very responsive.

Amazing location, easily walkable to the old city. The rooftop is a must. Parking garage is up the street. Very Clean. Will stay here again next time I’m in Quebec City. Hostess was very communicative and informative. Great overall stay.

A great choice...and would stay again! Can't beat the location - away from the crowds and higher prices, but very walkable to everything we wanted to see and do. Lots of character throughout the building and area. The rooftop deck was a nice place to end each day of sightseeing. Plenty of dining options within a few minutes walk. The room was well appointed; suggestion would be to have more electrical outlets or power bars if the former is not possible. Slight disappointment that there wasn't a bathtub (had called in advance to confirm this), but the shower was a good one. Everything worked out well for our stay and without hesitation would recommend Château des Tourelles. Thanks.

Good price for the location - about 1.5 km from the centre of town. There are no staff onsite at all. You MUST check in online to get keypad codes for the building door and your room door. There is a kitchenette, so you can provision your own breakfast or other meals if you wish. Street parking is limited and challenging. $25 gets you a spot in their garage 4 blocks away. I recommend doing that if you come by car. The rooms are small but modern, clean and well-appointed.

A beautifully restored quriky old building on a street full of shops, beer bars, and restaurants. An easy walk to the Old Town, the Plains of Abraham and the St Roch neighborhood. We had a great view from our balcony and the rooftop deck. No staff on premises but they are very responsive and friendly by phone. A few minor issues: there are only two comfortable chairs in the whole place (in the common area). The lamps by the bed are not good for reading. Beds are comfy except for heavyweight comforters in the summer. Overall, a very pleasant place but they could make the common area (and the rooms) a lot more comfortable and inviting with the addition of a couch and a few more upholstered chairs.

There is no staff on property but they are very helpful if you contact them. There are parking options in near parking garages but be prepared, you might go uphill to the hotel so is you have heavy luggage you might drop them off before park the car at parking garages nearby.

Avis trés mitigé la chambre est tres propre et bien située entre vieux Quebec et ville moderne dans un.quartier sympa. Mais pas de ménage alors que nous avons passé 2 nuits ( contrairement ce qui etait indiqué). Extérieur trés délabré et abords de la chambre tres sales.De plus la réception virtuelle a ses limites. Le matin même de notre arrivée je n avais toujours pas d'info malgré mes demandes par mails. J'ai finalement obtenu les codes après les avoir appelés ( réceptioniste trés serviable mais c est quand même embetant)

Cute clean auberge hotel. Easy self checkin and awesome service by text! The room was cosy, the bed and sheets very comfortable and the towels crispy. I enjoyed teas in the common area and the Nespresso machine in the room. Restaurants, bars and Carnaval, just couple of minutes on foot. A convenience store is located on street level. I recommend Chez Victor for juicy burgers and cocktails and Bonnet d'âne for brunch.

Good place to stay, there is no reception but the staff is very responsive with requests. They provide Nespresso coffee and milk in the fridge. There is everything in the kitchen for you to have your meals. Very well organised We had room 1 and it was a double room very clean but there was some drain sewer odour coming back with were very unpleasant. Also it is quite noisy between the rooms and we can hear everything about the other guests in other rooms This is why I cannot put 5 stars to the experience

De plus, l’hébergement ne devrait pas être qualifié d’hôtel; on pourrait le qualifier d’auberge… Si on aime un immeuble vieillot, mais bien entretenu de façon générale, avec les planchers de bois croches qui craquent, on est bien servi. Côté insonorisation, on repassera. On entendait les personnes parler, dans la chambre voisine. Pour conclure sur une note positive, le personnel, en ligne, est très réactif, même si pas présent sur place.

Großartige Location, toller Bereich mit einigen Restaurants und perfekt um die Altstadt zu erkunden. Praktischer Lebensmittelladen direkt darunter. Bett sehr gemütlich. Zimmer nicht so einfach zu erreichen (2 Stock ohne Lift) und relativ klein (vor allem Badezimmer). Wände sehr dünn, und auch die Straße kann laut sein.
Großartige Location, toller Bereich mit einigen Restaurants und perfekt um die Altstadt zu erkunden. Praktischer Lebensmittelladen direkt darunter. Bett sehr gemütlich. A very nice and comfortable room. Very well organized and no issues with checking in electronically. But parking was off site, not so great in -20C conditions, but great in the summer. Wifi was HORRIBLE!!. 8mbps.. that is not acceptable anywhere in today's world.

Very disappointed stayed here last year and it was amazing this year seems like new ownership and everything went virtual there is no one at the hotel I felt like it was a ghost town ., too bad because the location is good but there is absolutely no service calling someone on the phone is not the same thing !!!

The hotel has a remote concierge service with no staff to assist on site immediately if needed. I requested towels to my room and waited 90 minutes for the towels. We were also told our room was on the main floor of the property. It was not. We were put in the basement next to the laundry and cleaning storage room. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you're looking for relaxation and quiet.

Cute clean auberge hotel. Easy self checkin and awesome service by text! The room was cosy, the bed and sheets very comfortable and the towels crispy. I enjoyed teas in the common area and the Nespresso machine in the room. Restaurants, bars and Carnaval, just couple of minutes on foot. A convenience store is located on street level. I recommend Chez Victor for juicy burgers and cocktails and Bonnet d'âne for brunch.

Sincerely enjoyed my stay at the Château des Tourelles in May 2025. Easy self-check in, with the team being very accessible by text and phone as needed. It was 20 minute walk or so to Vieux-Quebec, with other landmarks. It is an old building with a lot of charm and everything is kept in good working condition.

No complaints about our room, but it was quite unsettling to find this "hotel" has no staff visible on site and offers assistance only by messaging such as WhatsApp. Our interactions with remote staff were fine, and we appreciated having the freedom to use the lounge area and effectively self-cater. But with no one to help us locate our room, we were dragging cases up and down various stairways until we found it. The whole experience was too much like being on a ghost ship. I do not think this is what anything marketed like a hotel should be like.

Nothing, they do not pick up the phone when I called many times and they do not even return the call as I was not able to find the room because there are two stairs. One that lead to rooms 1 to 7 and another one from another door that lead to rooms 9 and 10. I was confused and did not know that and I was calling them but no response after more than 10 calls. A great choice...and would stay again! Can't beat the location - away from the crowds and higher prices, but very walkable to everything we wanted to see and do. Lots of character throughout the building and area. The rooftop deck was a nice place to end each day of sightseeing. Plenty of dining options within a few minutes walk. The room was well appointed; suggestion would be to have more electrical outlets or power bars if the former is not possible. Slight disappointment that there wasn't a bathtub (had called in advance to confirm this), but the shower was a good one. Everything worked out well for our stay and without hesitation would recommend Château des Tourelles. Thanks.

Wir durften unser Gepäck am Anreise- und Abreisetag hinter die unbesetzte Rezeption legen. In die Altstadt läuft man etwa 1 km rein. Alles in allem eine gute Erfahrung.

Good price for the location - about 1.5 km from the centre of town. There are no staff onsite at all. You MUST check in online to get keypad codes for the building door and your room door. There is a kitchenette, so you can provision your own breakfast or other meals if you wish. Street parking is limited and challenging. $25 gets you a spot in their garage 4 blocks away. I recommend doing that if you come by car. The rooms are small but modern, clean and well-appointed.

We booked this last minute as we needed an extra night and our original reservation did not have the extra night available. Close to many restaurants and places to stop for a drink or a coffee. Walking distance to Old Quebec. Loved the old style with updated bathrooms and very comfortable bed! No staff on hand as everything was remote. Code to get into building, code for our room, coffee and tea available and questions answered right away! I would recommend this hotel anytime! Great place!

Accès en self-service avec échanges par téléphone ou mail plutôt efficace. Le parking payant est à quelque distance de l'hôtel, mais il est facile de poser la voiture pour descendre les bagages devant l'hôtel. Pas de restauration ni de petit déjeuner sur place. L'adresse indiquée par l'équipe de l'hôtel pour le petit déjeuner (boulangerie en face) est plutôt médiocre (pas encore de pain ou de viennoiserie ou autre du jour à 9h30 du matin !)

Good place to stay, there is no reception but the staff is very responsive with requests. They provide Nespresso coffee and milk in the fridge. There is everything in the kitchen for you to have your meals. Very well organised We had room 1 and it was a double room very clean but there was some drain sewer odour coming back with were very unpleasant. Also it is quite noisy between the rooms and we can hear everything about the other guests in other rooms This is why I cannot put 5 stars to the experience

Nous avons été surpris par l'endroit, tres pittoresque, nous avions la chambre 2 qui adonne sur le coin de la rue et c'était vraiment charmant! A quelques pas de bons restaurants et du vieux quebec, l'endroit était très propre et la personne qui s'est occupé de nous a demandé souvent par texto si tout était à notre goût. Nous allons y retourner c'est certain!

First, this is a very old building likely a house or sn apartment building remodeled for a hotel use. NO ELEVATOR should have been mentioned in the property description. This would have influenced our decision and those like us in their 70’s. Second, very unusual planning of the bathroom particularly regarding sink. Bathroom door wouldn’t close. Initially the tv did not work, and it took some guidance from the manager to make it work. Room was hot on entry, needed to either open window to the street or turn the air conditioner on in 50-degree weather outside.
