Nice little gem of a spot! Kind, responsive owners. Lots of space on the property set beside trees, open field at the back, outdoor space (incl outdoor pool, picnic table, Muskoka chairs, and BBQ). Units relatively quiet inside for a motel beside a main road. Updated kitchen and bathtub; comfy beds. Kitchen has basics, but not a full set of dishes, sharp knives, cutlery, glasses, mixing bowls, etc; would need to bring some of your own things for any more than one occupant.

Staff was friendly! Nice, quiet area! Breakfast included! Parking was very convenient, right in front of our room! We had a lot of stuff in the car that my daughter needed for her dorm at Queens so it was great to be able to haul our stuff easily.

This property was clean, quiet and close to where we needed to be! We enjoyed our stay 💜 I did mention to the man there that I thought there should be a handrail by the stairs entering the pool! This to me is a safety issue. He said he was going to mention it to the manager.

Omg this place is slowly falling apart. Staff seemed ok, barely talked but smiled at us. The worst part is how dirty it is. Ewwwwwww. I spilled a drink and cleaned the floor in that spot. The walls have stuff spoted all over it I dont want to know about. The deadbolt doest even work. We had a conjoined room with no idea who was on the other side and if they had a key. Eeekkkkkk. There was some sort of dried leaf in our bed and fluff and spects of unknown stuff everywhere. Everything looks broken or damaged. I dont even think its worth what I paid. Its near nothing and totally gross. And we were put at the very very back. The cleaner probably doesnt know these rooms exist. Ewwwww. Never going back.

The room smelled lile olf cigarettes. The window was wide open when we arrived. The smell was distracting when it was time to sleep. The door handles were sooo dirty and the doors was blacked. Sheets were dirty on both beds when we arrived. We noted this to the staff and they did change out the sheets, but the "new" sheets were still not that clean. Breakfast was fairly basic, but adequate. Sink did not drain - we had to jury rig a prop to keep the drain plug up. Not very many channels on the TV.

Pretty terrible hotel. The lock latch on the door is broken, the toilet runs if you don't wiggle the handle, the bed sheets have stains and the bathroom sink plug is stuck in the closed position. The parking area outside our room smells like sewage and the electrical socket by the bed is certainly not onto code. We are here for queens u move in weekend, so paid almost $300 to stay in this dump.

We stayed in a larger space with kitchenette, 2 twins beds in one room and a queen bed in another room. Rooms were larger and had nice windows. The space was clean but worn. Beds and linens were very clean. A oversized fridge with freezer was part of the kitchenette.

We needed a room for a night’s stay in Kingston. The price was very reasonable. With that in mind, we were very pleased with our room. It was a big suite with a “living room,” bathroom, and separate bedroom. We had a brand new oversized refrigerator too! Our spot was quiet and very comfortable. We will stay again if in the area in the future.

I reserved 2 king rooms several months ago. They gave 1 room away and gave us a room with queen beds. There were broken/cracked floor tiles in the bathroom. The transition plate from the laminate flooring to tile flooring was just sitting in place not attached and I tripped on it. Woke up in the morning to find a cockroach walking across the tv stand!

Appreciated the fact the sleeping area was separate from sitting area. Had booked a king bed but none available so 2 queens. Breakfast was fine. Need to seal outside doors better but luckily not too cold when we stayed so wasnt a problem.

I would recommend this property to stay. First the location is very far from anything in the area. The staff hardly spoke english and was difficult to communicate with them. The room... dirty had cobwebs everywhere, bathroom was falling apart, the shower only trickled water plus didn't drain properly and when it did drain the entire room smelled like raw sewage!!! When i went to complain about the smell i got met with a person who didn'tor pretended not to speak english, which was very frustrating!! Not to mention the beds terrible! pillows felt like cheap dollar store items!! The only good thing was we didn't have to fight for parking!!!

Last minute family emergency trip to Kingston. Service was friendly, check-in/check-out quick. My room had 2 beds and a pull-out (in separate space), perfect for me, my wife, and 3 of our kids. Rooms were clean, cool, and had 2 fridges. Complimentary breakfast had boiled eggs, waffles, muffins, fruit, and coffee/tea. Definetely staying here again next time I’m in Kingston!

One person in our group had just broken their leg when I arrived the front desk clerk asked me how my day had been. When I declared we had just spend hours in the Emergency because my friend had broken his leg, the employee immediately put us on the first floor and in a room that was easily accessible. The hotel room was clean and pleasant. The next day the same employee offered a chair that was easier to manage for my friend so that he could eat the continental breakfast in the lobby whilst manoeuvring with crutches and his cast. First rate service as far as I’m concerned?

I love this hotel. I have allergies and P.K. at reception made sure I was upgraded to the room without carpeting. He is very kind, efficient and a joy to chat to during my solo breakfasts.

Everything was fantastic. This Super 8 is 5 minutes from the military base in my community. I am retired military and my family is still serving. So convenient for everyone. They also had a place to walk dogs. Very cool.

Super 8 Kingston is a good option if you are looking for an affordable stay and don't mind the quiet location a little out of the way of mainstream Kingston. The continental breakfast was nice with a decent range of choices. However, if you would rather be closer to major downtown areas (restaurants, shopping etc), then this is probably not the best option.

The motel was beside the military base AND is a motel so we weren't exactly sure who would be coming at night for a visit. The room itself was clean and the continental breakfast was ok. Not a place to stay if you are looking for high quality! Good for "driving through town and need a place to sleep" for the night.

L'accueil est bien ; le petit-déjeuner est correct ; notre chambre était propre : lit très confortable, frigo neuf, sanitaires propres mais pas entretenues : porte abimée, joints de la baignoire jaunis, coins au sol des joints très sales, peinture de la visserie de la porte s'écaille et tombe au sol : pas nettoyée par l'hôtel, gros trou dans le mur, 2 petites plinthes cassées non remplacées transition chambre, tringle du rideau de douche piquée de rouille, Appareil ventilation sous lavabo bien rouillé, pareil pour les crochets qui tiennent le miroir et la rampe d'appliques où, en plus, une ampoule était grillée. S'agissant de la kitchenette, c'est un meuble en bloc inox évier, frigo et plaques électriques : frigo et plaques ne fonctionnent pas. D'où le frigo neuf ; ennuyeux que la plaque ne fonctionne pas (pas d'arrivée de courant). Il y a un micro-ondes. Dans le tiroir, les quelques couverts sont déposés sur du papier journal...

I thought the hotel was good. The only thing I didn’t like was that during breakfast (which was included) there weren’t enough tables to eat at. Some people were eating standing up, and others took their food to their room because there weren’t enough seats. I think they should have more tables so guests don’t have to stand during breakfast. I had never experienced not having a place to sit for breakfast because everything was full. Other than that, I found the rest of the hotel to be fine.
