Great spot in Penticton. Friendly staff. The motel is a bit dated but they’ve made some renovations to the rooms and bathrooms. Pool is nice on a hot day. There’s a little green space with BBQ’s. Overall a good place to stay.

They were able to securely store our bicycles without any fuss. Much appreciated in our circumstances.😃

We showed up early after a long drive and they accomodated us checking in early, had the room spotless. Nice, renovated rooms. We stayed in the suite and it had everything we needed! Beautiful location, quick walk to the beach and on the main strip for quick access to stores and restaurants. Enjoyed the outdoor patios and pool!

The property is very pretty with pool and nice shaded gazebo area. Super convenient for Skaha beach and other amenities. Unit was very clean, and tAC worked fine - if a bit noisy, and units are a bit outdated, but very good value for the price.

The staff here were super friendly and helpful. We mentioned that our fridge wasn't cold and they brought an entirely new fridge for us while we were out at dinner. The kids had a blast hanging out in the pool, and the staff recommended some fun things to do in the area. Great time!

We come every year. Love this little place. The flowers are always beautiful. The pool is always available. And the short walk to the beach makes it perfect. TJoy

Amazing find. They were very helpful, constantly saw them cleaning the area, always people available to help me. (they had a bike shed we were able to use). Just a great all around stay

Enjoyed our stay. The motel was clean and spacious. The only challenge was the parking lot. It’s small and not easy to maneuver in. There is street parking, which was more convenient and easier to come and go from. Will happily stay here again.

The check in staff was friendly, however I found it odd that I was charged the entire stay at check in. The exterior of the hotel is bright and cheerful with a 70's vibe and nice clean outdoor pool and well maintained garden area to sit in. Parking was very tight, on our second night we ended up having to park in the last spot behind the building. The rooms are very basic, a bit dated and could be cleaner. Interior lighting was almost flourescent in colour which was not very relaxing. No privacy film on the bathroom window which in our case overlooked the garden area. The mattress was hard and so worn that my husband and I kept ending up crammed together in the middle of the bed. Our room had no ac unit or thermostat to adjust the temperature just air coming up from two floor vents controlled elsewhere. Our first night there was an extremely noisy group partying in the garden area outside our window until 3am. When we informed front desk staff they apologized but offered no other solution. Should also mention there was no one manning the front office after 10pm and with the noise and our room located above the office we could hear other guests attempt to contact the office phone with no staff to answer. Postives are you are a 5 minute walk to skaha lake and park, lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby.

We had a fantastic stay at the travelers motel. We stayed in a family suite which has been updated, the property is very well maintained and we loved the covered patio on the second level (spent alot of time out there). The original signage from the mid century and the paint colors of the building add to the charm of this hotel. We will be back!!

Beds were very hard/uncomfortable, air conditioner was very loud and couldn't sleep with it on, floor was very dirty and needed slippers as socks got dirty and barefoot was even worse, filter/strainer in bathroom sink was not clean. and

It was filthy

The bathroom was dirty, and the shower mat was rolled up and wedged under the toilet tank (probably not a sanitary place!). In room coffee pot was not cleaned after the first day we used it. Dirty glasses and coffee cups not replaced until we had to stack them in front of the television on the dresser. When we left after the 4th night the old coffee was still in the pot.

Outside is adorable. Inside? Pretty unexceptional. There was hair in the tub and on the towels when we arrived, the lighting is start and uncomfortable. The gentlemen at the front desk were blunt and silent aside from their one word questions, making check in awkward. It is on the cheaper end, it is near the beach, so i guess it balances out.

Staff was nice. As a wildfire evacuee this was one of the few places available. However it is in poor condition and absolutely filthy. Definitely not priced correctly!

Nicely renovated room.

We stayed in the newly renovated rooms and they were so lovely and clean, we ended up staying an extra night. They accomodated us immediately and gave us a discount. The pool is the only one open in town for May long as it was important for them to get it up and running for this weekend. Lovely place, lovely staff. Comfy beds and pillows, AC works amazing. Super close to Skaha beach. I think we will become frequent fliers here. Thank you so much for having us.

Clean, comfortable and quiet. Pillows were a bit hard, bedside lamps could use a larger light bulb, I could hardly see the book, let alone read. Kitchen reasonably well appointed, could use a small saucepan in addition to the soup pot.

Room was vey clean and well stocked with essentials. Bed comfy. Cable TV was nice. Checkin was super easy. On the negative side the AC in the room kicks in often and is pretty loud, and the walls/ floor seems thin could hear people. So bring earplugs just in case. It quietened down by 11 pm and I did not need to run AC all night so I got a good sleep and did not need my earplugs.

I enjoyed my stay. I was not in the room slot but it was clean and comfortable. One concern I ave is the toilet and the sink are so close together it was difficult to use the toilet in comfort. The bath tube was also very tight. It would be so very nice if hotels and motels had a room that accommodated someone who is handicapped. Larger bathroom, higher toilet and walk in shower. I could not find one. I use a wheel chair and/walker and it would make trips more comfortable when you can shower with being scared you will fall. The picture is of the toilet and sink and bath tube. You can see how it would be difficult for someone who is handicapped to move around in comfort. My wallet would not fit in the bathroom.

Good location close to Skaha Lake park and beach. Can walk to Walmart for incidentals and groceries. Room has thin walls, can hear persons in next room arguing and children crying. Room could use updating.

However, aside from that sweet spot, there are very limited dining options near the motel. The price is decent, but you definitely get what you pay for. This seems to be an older, family-run establishment that is advertised as recently renovated. The updates, however, seem questionable, as the motel still feels worn out. The rooms on the main floor are quite small, and the walls are very thin, allowing you to hear conversations from adjacent rooms, outdoor noise, and traffic. Check-in was challenging, as they had lost my reservation with Expedia. Fortunately, the staff at Expedia were able to resolve the issue, but it left me feeling uneasy. I was initially told there were no rooms available, but when Expedia rectified the missing reservation, a room suddenly became available, which seemed suspicious. Additionally, the water pressure in the room was terrible, which was disappointing. Overall, if you're simply looking for a roof over your head at a decent price and proximity to the beach, this might be the place for you.

i reserved and got in late, they waited for me at the front desk. I didn't arrive until 11:30 pm.I was able to park my motorcycle right outside the office. that was nice, as I had a lot of stuff I didn't want to take into the room with me, like helmets and stuff. The room was more like a hotel than a motel. The maid must have spent a lot of time ensuring everything looked perfect. They also went online to find me a new motel, as I had only reserved for one night. Motel right next to the beach at the end of town..Perfecto!

We were there for the Okanagan Granfondo so the location was perfect as the start line was pretty much outside our door! The owners were super nice and accommodating, our 2BR with kitchen was spacious for 2 people, and the air conditioning worked well. The only issue we had was they didn’t allow us to bring our expensive, spotlessly clean, high-end road bikes into our rooms. However, they did find us a safe place to store them that wasn’t the crappy shed they first wanted us to store them in, which was nice, but we had to call them to retrieve our bikes at 6am.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. One evening I returned to the motel and the parking lot was full. I left to go park on the road and one of the staff called me back, moved his car from the staff parking area to let me park safely. Above and beyond my expectations

Cleaning lady was extremely rude

OK place, good location on south end of Penticton, close to the very beautiful Skaha beach and park.

We stayed in a kitchenette unit over the Sept long weekend. Motel is a half block to the beach so ideal location, every room was full. Had a fun, beach/surf town feel to it. Lots of people dancing/swimming hanging out in the motels plaza area. Couldnt hear noise in the room. Only knock against it would be very few electrical receptacles and not enough pots/pans to cook a full meal. Would stay here again.

The property was in an ideal location for a beach holiday, only a block away from the lake. The only downside was a lack of walk-to restaurants in the area. And the fact that many of the amenities chose to close both Sunday and Monday. Although an older property, the motel was clean, convenient and very accommodating!
