Avoid Saturday nights if you want to sleep before midnight. Pounding music from the top floor when events are held. It did drown out the humming sound of the air con vent that was continuous despite switching off. Beds were comfortable.

Very comfortable room and bathroom with all that one needs and furnished to a high standard. Good selection of hot and cold breakfast food which was well presented and constantly re-stocked. Car park fills rapidly, so used the multi-storey 100 metres away which worked out very well.

We stayed on the fourth floor and found that there was some noise from the 5th floor in the early hours. It sounded like furniture or room dividers being dragged around. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

I arrived after a 9hour drive at 9pm to find no parking, when entering the very small car park it takes you off to a divert of 10 mins to find your way back. Was then asked to park 5 mins down the road and to lug all my luggage in the rain. Was welcomed by possible to rudest person I have met in a long time and I work in sales so that really is saying something! She was very unhelpful, was not willing to offer any help or alternatives. Carpets to the bedrooms look like someone has had a mud fight and ground it all into the carpets. Digital Door key would not work so had to obtain back at reception. The fact I had breakfast included hadn't made its way to the restaurant so I had to prove that which was fine. The girl there was SUPER polite so that was nice to see at least 1 person working there was pleasant. I then had to make my way back in the pouring rain with all my luggage back to my car the next morning in a nice suit ready for my next meeting! It is a shame is it is a very nice building and the food was good. Just needs staff that actually appreciate the customers paying their wages and a car park bigger than a shoe box which really should be mentioned before booking.

I was only here for 2 days but found it easily, was able to park (if a bit pricey) and charge my car there. Breakfast was good quality and value. The room was very well appointed and comfortable so slept well. The only small criticism was the bar which had very loud pounding music playing in the evening even when empty. Wanted to watch the snooker with a drink but TV was behind the bar so seemed to be more for the staff than the customers. Went back to my room, instead.

Hotel interior is a little tired. My bedroom had several stains on the carpet, the bathroom wasn't particularly clean and the bath/shower tap was rusting. Pillows weren't very comfortable which redulted in a night of broken sleep.

No complaints whatsoever about the rooms - absolutely spotless. My concerns lie with mistakes made at reception. I had booked two rooms and in an attempt to put me and my friend on the same floor ended up giving us the same room. This was rectified the moment we realised we both had the same room number and went back to reception. We were also told that our rooms came with breakfast (I didn't remember booking breakfast but thought if it's in the system I must have) but when we went up to breakfast we weren't on the list and had to pay separately. Not a very good car park design either as our vehicle was too high to use the regular exit so had to come back out via the entrance.

Location is good with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good despite being very busy on Sunday morning. The hotel itself is in need of a refurbishment, carpets in the corridors and rooms have seen better days. Furniture is dated and a little tired. Our bathroom had cracked floor tiles. Bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning quiet and effective

The stench of cigarettes throughout the building, in the room was even worse. Room view na rubbish bins. Terrible experience. Never again.

Stayed here for business for a couple of nights. Location is great, however, that’s where it stops. The carpets in the corridor on level 2 are quite stained, and look quite dirty. There are lots of cut outs that have been replaced that looks tatty. A so called superior room is simple at best, from amenities, lighting configurations and bathroom layout. No heated towel rails or heated mirrors. When you purchase a superior room and pay £180 a night, I don’t think a complimentary bottle of water would absorb all their profit. Unfortunately for me, I had an isolated unpleasant experience in the restaurant with an arrogant student type waiter who clearly does not understand customer service.

Room had the smell of stale smoke, carpets filthy in room and on corridors. Staff thought an aerosol can would sort the smell in the room….. under par for a Hilton hotel.

Just an average hotel. Room and bed was large but bed was hard and creaky, room temperature hard to control so room was cold most of the time and plug was stuck in the bath! Food was not very warm at breakfast the first morning but better the second morning. Would have liked some toiletries in the room, i.e shower cap, slippers and water etc. but was told they didn't supply them even though we are Hilton honours members.

Staff welcome and friendly. Room was clean but bathroom door did not close. Reported to reception said maintenence would look at it. Wasnt fixed when we came back to room. Booked a queen bed, was not a queen size bed, just a double. Corridor was noisey especially in the morning which made the bed shake. Bed constantly creaking if you moved.

Air con stuck in heating mode, so couldn't get the room cool even though temp was set to 16. Came back from dinner to find it had set itself to 24, room booking hot and unable to cook as it won't go into cooking mode. Hotel itself is fine. Nothing special and don't expect a view - room windows are tiny and for good reason, you have a view either of the Holiday Inn car park or of the side of a block of flats across a narrow alley.

We stayed on the 3rd floor and there was so much noise from the 4th floor it was like constantly moving furniture. This was at 22:00. I called reception and they said there was a function on till midnight. No apology. Horrendous night. The pillows were really flat without any other options. Not like Premiere Inn

The bed is not comfortable, no air conditioning, I had to go to the reception to pick a fan by myself. No fridge, no water. The receptionist said water is only for regular customers. The carpet is not good looking

We had no problems with the hotel at all. I was just disappointed that I had booked a superior king bedroom and ended up on the first floor with a view of a brick wall. I was hoping, that by paying a bit more, I would at least get a view of the marina. Everything else with the hotel was fine.

Please avoid this property if you require receipts. Not only does the hotel take £100 pre-authorise on your card, but they also don’t give you receipts for your stay or breakfast which makes things incredibly difficult if you are a business user. The team were unhelpful and knowledgeable about how to resolve the issues I encountered.

On arrival the staff were very helpful and efficient. Our room was more than expected as we were given an upgrade. The cleanliness of the hotel was very good also the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.

There was no check in even slightly early. We returned at 3.40 and were advised the room was still being finished. The cleaner was still in the room when we had no option to drop the bags and go out. There was no key for the balcony and I had to ask 4 times. The room was freezing and despite trying to ask for the heating to be reset twice it was still so cold. The room itself was clean but the hotel carpet was very dirty. Restaurant and bar was not the cleanest and had to ask for the tables to be cleaned. Car parking was very tight. Worried about doors getting knocked. Breakfast wasn’t the greatest, sausages looked especially undercooked. Despite booking a suite, provisions in the room were not the best.

Honestly loved the hotel. Great location on the wharf. 5 minutes onto the main high street. Also a lovely running route along the canal if you turn right from the hotel. Hayley and Jade on reception were excellent and really helpful. Thank you both. The warm cookie on arrival was a lovely touch.

Amazing day/night in Lincoln hotel is in a great place especially on a sunny day bars/restaurants near by the breakfast was amazing also only downside was the room view and very dark in the room but didn’t stay in the room much so not a massive issue will 100% stay again

Great Hotel, warm friendly staff, comfortable rooms. Restaurant has nice views over Brayford pool and Lincoln centre up to the cathedral. Good location amongst bars and restaurants. Couple of small things to be improved upon, the speakers in the restaurant need a good clean as spiders webs visible. The eggs at breakfast had been cooked fresh but left under a heat lamp so gone hard unfortunately. Overall a very comfortable night and I will be definitely staying again.

Lovely location, 2 small balconies in the bar overlooking the marina. We liked it so much we decided to eat there and the bar food was excellent. Lots of restaurants along the marina. A beautiful (steep) walk to the cathedral (works up an appetite). Car park is under cover. Breakfast was also very good.

The staff were friendly and the room was nice but the breakfast was a little disappointing. The little jug of milk for tea/coffee was sour and the hash browns were anaemic. I expected better from a Hilton and have had better breakfasts in cheaper hotels.

There was no check in even slightly early. We returned at 3.40 and were advised the room was still being finished. The cleaner was still in the room when we had no option to drop the bags and go out.
