The pool is heated and it was very enjoyable it has adult hours and you can have alcohol just no glass. I reserved a queen room we got a full bed with super flat pillows. Sauna was good when it worked only 1 out of 3 saunaus were working. Is in walking dustance to the beach and restaraunts. Staff are very friendly.

Adrift was a pleasure to holiday at. Clean room, excellent pool and sauna and friendly, helpful staff. The resturant was also a big plus. It's convenient to town and the ocean. I will definitely return again.

Lovely amenities, location, service. Discounts at Kite Museum for staying at Adrift. Free use of bikes --we biked all 8.3 miles of the Discovery Trail (bikes were in so-so shape, though). Pool and sauna are superb after a busy day 👍

We loved the inclusivity and the spa. The pool and saunas were nice and the bike rentals (free) were so much fun. The pizzas were delicious and there were plenty of meat free options.

Adrift was the perfect getaway after a night out in Portland. We didn’t have to go anywhere we ate at the restaurant, listened to live music, and ended the night with a fire on the beach. The distillery, pool, and sauna made it feel like a full, relaxing experience at a great price. My husband is handicapped, so the elevator was a huge help, and I really appreciated having someone at the front desk instead of staying at an Airbnb. Highly recommend for an easy, all-in-one escape.

I was impressed with the cleanliness and the staff at the Adrift. I will say that my favorite feature at the hotel was the daybed that spanned the entire length of the room. I thoroughly enjoyed sitting there and looking out at the window at the beach and the ocean. I would come back just for that if nothing else.

Overall a very unpleasant hotel. Very old and a very cheap remodel done. Hair on our bed sheets, stain on our pillow case, stains on the headboard of bed, gunk around the faucet sink… We checked-in in the evening, front desk lady led us to a different building with 3 kids, 2 of them sleeping in our hands and bags, we came back to the front desk and she claimed she made a mistake. Very unprofessional. Come to the different building they don’t have an elevator, prepare to climb 4 flights of stairs.

Everything seemed to be old and worn out. Room seemed clean but smelled of disinfectant. Ugly floors. Bedlinens and pillows needed to be replaced. Nice supply of toiletries, towels and bathrobes. No view. This hotel was great in its prime but desperately needs a remodel.

The fan given in our room was caked with dust. Had to ask for a new one. No AC, not advertised on Expedia as so. Extremely muggy, musty and hot. Extreme noise above us all hours. Staff were slow and seemed to not know things. Cushion on window seat ripped prior to check in from others, we stated this and they didn’t discount us, fix it or switch us rooms. Dinner at restaurant was $130 for three people and was not good at all…. Overall stay was not worth what we paid. They should have given us money back / discounted. Disappointed in general.

The room was cleaned but not clean. The towels were frayed and stain, the toilet had smears of poo. The mattress was so broken down I felt like I slept in a whole. The entire reason why we booked this hotel was because we had a busy day and they had an onsite restaurant. I called ahead to verify hours and was told they were open until 10 and was told they also offered room service. When we checked in we mentioned we were going to be busy but looked forward to dinner later in the restaurant, we dropped off our belongings and left. We were shocked and disappointed when we came back and found that the restaurant was closed. We had McDonalds in bed at nearly 10 because we had no other options. Had someone mentioned the restaurant was closed when we checked in, we could have planned accordingly. If we would have known the Pickled Fish was closed, we never would have booked the Adrift Hotel. Not to mention the barking dogs. So frustrating!!!

It was nice friendly customer service, walkable to every fun attractions around. The Hotel had a lot of activities too, restaurant, swimming pool and Sauna . Our room had a lovely view of the ocean, we kept complimenting to each other about how we like their shower kit. Their shower kit were not small pouches or bottles, they were good sizes of bottles, body wash, shampoo, lotion, hand wash with the press on top. The had beach towels in the rooms, along with bathrobes and towels. They had cleaning service the next day. It's was great. We felt lucky.

We stayed for three nights and overall it was a good experience. The room was cute, clean, and had good towels/shampoo. The pool area was great - the water was warm, and the kids loved it. Any staff member we came across staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was great, parking was easy, and price was on par. The restaurant was really good and there was live music on the nights we were there. The only hiccups were: The room was stuffy with no a/c. There was a fan provided and if you opened the window it helped a lot - but our screen was ripped so bugs flew in. The toilet seat was wiggly so when you sat or got up it you’d slide sideways and have to catch yourself There were hanging lightbulbs across the bed area instead of nightstand lamps, which looked cool but they were installed weird and you had to play with the switches to make them stay on. One of them was bad enough that you had to wiggle the wire and it kind of felt unsafe. Internet connection and tv signal was spotty. The beds felt so cozy (soft) but our backs said otherwise in the morning. (We are not in our 20’s, so there’s that lol)

The staff here is wonderful. Hotel is close to the beach. Restaurant has great food and a nice view of the ocean. Room - meh. For the price of the rooms we expected a bit of luxury but, instead, the rooms are extremely spartan and decor is "Industrial chic". Tiny table (actually a shelf that was too small to hold a laptop) with 2 cheap plastic chairs. Wooden crates for night stand (barely room for a book). Bare lightbulbs for lighting. In a room with 2 beds, which could conceivably house 2 couples, the sink hardly had counter space for one person's toiletries (toothbrush/paste, comb/brush). The beds were very firm memory foam. Probably OK for younger folks but were hard on old joints, difficult to adjust position on, and got very hot during the night.

We stayed here for a week during the International Kite Festival. The room was fine, clean, etc however no inroom microwave nor coffee pot. You had to go up a flight of stairs for the ice machine and communal microwave. Not a good situation.

Directly adjacent to the beach access and boardwalk. The rooms are cute but basic. The bed was very comfortable and there were 4 different styles of pillow, so I could find one that was right for me! The walls and windows and ceiling let in a fair bit of noise, but they did provide ear plugs in the room. There was a wall heater, but no fan. I would’ve preferred to have air movement and white noise, but I did call up a YouTube playlist for the white noise.

The room has not been updated in years. No coffee maker, microwave, lamp, phone. The lights were strung with extension cords. It is very industrial looking. On a positive note, the bed was amazing, the room very clean, and the pool was wonderful. It is a great location!

I had a wonderful stay. My room had great views of the ocean. The mushroom risotto was to die for, and I had a raspberry cream ipa beer that was out of this world. m My bed was super comfy minimal aesthetics, but really cool. Very safe I traveled by myself. There is no air conditioning, there is a fan in the room and the temperature was amazing with the windows open, listening to the ocean. Very very lovely.

My partner and I had a 2 queen bed room in the East building with a partial ocean view. The room felt small and cramped. The website describes their decor as minimalistic. I would call it more rustic. A lot of rough wood, a postage stamp sized table with 2 hard plastic chairs. We were thinking of ordering room service one night but there was no way both of us could eat comfortably at the little table. I can't even imagine 4 people staying in this room, it was a bit crowded with just 2 of us. No coffee in the room either. You have to go down to the lobby where they do have free coffee and tea, besides a coffee bar for lattes and such. Unfortunately we like to enjoy a cup of coffee while getting dressed in the morning or even just relaxing with a cup before we do anything else. This was not possible unless you wanted to pay for room service I guess. Could use some more convenient parking. We had to park at the far end of the property, on the other side of their distillery one night. The bathroom sink is in a little alcove in the main room with a very small counter. Not very much room for any of our personal toiletries. Had to take out what we needed, use it and put it away. Also, the floors in the rooms are wood, there is no carpet. Therefore, if you have a room on the first or second floor, you will definitely hear the people walking around above you!! Was very impressed with the Pickled Fish restaurant, excellent food and staff was very friendly.

Adrift Hospitality should reconsider the “Hospitality” part of their name. The check-in was good. The woman who greeted us and checked us in was very friendly and made conversation. This was probably the only positive interaction we had with a staff member throughout our 2-day stay. We walked over to the distillery that is owned by the hotel and met a locked door two hours before closing. We thought it must be a mistake and looked around for a few minutes before a bald guy came out and apologized. He then offered a tasting (complimentary with your stay at the hotel). The entire tasting, he made us feel rushed, he was smug, kind of rude—we could just tell he didnt want us to be there. My wife and I are both in the wine industry and had every intention of buying something, but he didn’t explain a single product, didn’t respond to our attempts to make conversation about the products and ultimately made us feel unwelcome. We left. Our two experiences in the Pickled Fish restaurant were both poor. The staff was completely disheveled and disorganized. An older female bartender audibly huffed and puffed when I sat down at the bar simply asked for a menu. She expected me to just rattle off a drink order—I had heard they had decent cocktails, so I wanted to see the list—shocking to her that not every bar guest wants a generic drink like a Jack & Coke. Finally the staff at the coffee shop were actively talking poorly about a previous customer when we visited. Poor taste.

Love the fact this hotel offered bikes for riding along the coastal water. What a special treat!! Front desk gals were Amazing and Super friendly. They even made reservations for us to have dinner with a live band. This place made us feel at home.

We arrived at 11 PM in an ice storm which prevented us from getting up the hill to our home a few miles away. Desk clerk Oriana was hospitable and helpful, assisting our safely getting into the building, showing where we could charge our electric car, advising about morning meal options, and providing much-needed toiletries. It felt like greeting old friends! The room was clean, safe, warm, and dry. After a restful sleep we checked out with morning desk clerks who were less effusive but equally helpful. Much has changed since my first visit to Adrift Inn 12 years ago, but the down home warmth of the staff, simply comfort of the guest rooms, and lure of the Pacific Ocean beach have continued to welcome visitors to Long Beach, and factored into my decision to move to this community. I didn’t anticipate needing a hotel room here since I live here—but was grateful for Adrift in my hour of need!

The staff was kind throughout the entire stay but it was very inconvenient moving rooms twice. First room had dirty towels and a bathtub leak. Second room had a broken tv. I was grateful they were able to move me but was very inconvenient, I was so tired from traveling and just wanted to relax. The third room I was placed in had a wall heater that didn’t work, it was very cold at night. When I finally settled down for bed i could hear conversations in next rooms and people playing games at the end of the hall. It was nice they leave you ear plugs. Overall I would not stay here again.

The Adrift hotel was very nice and clean. Location was beautiful by the ocean with a view. Close enough to walk to the main street where activities, shopping and food were. Close to the boardwalk. We watched the sun go down one from the restaurant and once from our room. Stunning and romantic. We have already booked a room for next year we loved it so much.

The Adrift is an amazing hotel. The heated, covered pool with saunas is perfect year round. The a pickled fish is delicious and I love the daily live music. The game room is fun Brit all ages and the quiet hours ensure a restful stay. The access to the beach and downtown are wonderful. The lobby cafe is a fabulous addition. All are welcome here which I respect, especially in the current environment and that includes furry loved ones.

Perfect location! Loved borrowing the hotel bike and riding Discovery Trail. Excellent restaurant and bar with the best ocean view. I won’t stay anywhere else but here next time I visit Long Beach.

The rooms were nice, wish it had a dresser or somewhere to put clothing, beyond the hanger.. But it was good. The restaurant "Pickle Fish" was hit and miss so more consistency is required there, my daughter have 3/4 bad meals, one was burnt - a burger, the cheese sandwich was hard to bite so she did not eat, the fries were salty. No we don't return food, because that changes the vibe...

Really neat place. Well taken care of. Clean. Adult hours for the pool were very much appreciated. Having the restaurant in the hotel was fantastic and the food was amazing. Great views. Really friendly staff. I would recommend it to my friends and I plan on coming back.

Excellent place to stay. Be sure to use their restaurant. The Pickled Fish has a great menu and excellent food. We only wish there had been a coffee maker in the room. The only knock we have. All else was excellent.
