Nice rooms, updated and clean, hot showers with good water pressure. Highway near by is a bit noisy and no hot tub at the pool, pool a bit small for size of property, but overall hotel was excellent. Staff super friendly at check in.

Our room is nice, clean and spacious, could use a table. Shower has good water pressure and hot. Bed is comfortable. The pool was cold which was disappointing. Breakfast was good just the usual. Staff was ok, I felt they could straighten up the lobby a bit more. I like that there’s a security guard at night who walks around outside. The elevator is a bit bumpy and could use cleaning. Outside could also use cleaning up every day. But overall it’s good. A bit expensive but that’s the times I guess.

The pool, gym, business office & snack bar were closed. The internet didn't work most of the time. Renovations were underway and the entire hotel was a mess - wet paint, plastic on the floors, workers in and out of the room, IT techs in and out of the room. Most of the staff we encountered was rude. It was a very unpleasant experience.

The front desk, breakfast, and maintenance staff were wonderful. It is challenging that the bathtub in our suite did not drain anything near acceptably. It would seem obvious to have a program of regularly clearing the drains - there is no way our bathtub drain had been serviced any time in the recent past. It was disheartening to have such a gross experience in such a nice and professionally-staffed hotel.

The lady at the front desk was wonderful! Very sweet and helpful. The room was in desperate need of fixing though. The ceiling in the bathroom had a huge crack in it. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good.

We stay at this hotel when we visit our son and his family in Durham. The last two stays I have said I won’t stay there again because the mattresses need to be turned or replaced. It was very uncomfortable and not good for a senior individual’s back and neck. I will be glad to be in my own bed tonight for that reason. That bed made me ache.

What a wonderful and friendly staff! From the front desk to the breakfast area (Joy), their staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. We routinely stay at HI and this is one of main reasons.

I arrived late at night at the property and the front door was locked I had to ring a bell to get in all that is fine, however, that night shift front desk employee wasn’t anywhere to be found it took me 20 minutes to get in the property I had actually call the property to wake up the front desk employee to come and open the door.

Went to check in. Lady couldn’t find me in their system. I then emailed her Hotels.com email of my confirmation, but to no avail they still couldn’t find my booking. She said she needed my CC for incidentals and that I wouldn’t be charged another room fee. Well, that is false. I just got the receipt and they did charge me. She promised me they would reach out to you guys/gals. I feel very ticked off.

There is not a lot of restaurants or shops in easy walk distance so be prepared to take an Uber or taxi unless you have your own car. Facility was quiet and the room was clean. Elevator carpet needed to be vacuumed. Breakfast was ok. They could use a sundries and snack shop.

Right off the I-85 exit, I expected a typical interstate ramp hotel with traffic noise and bright lights, but overall was happy with the relative quiet, easy in and out, a restaurant right next door. Staff was very friendly and the location is close to downtown where I attended a concert, so an Uber ride was fast and easy to downtown Durham. Overall a good place to stay in a safe, easily accessible area.

Hotel is currently being renovated. Once that is done it should be much better. Breakfast was not very good. Eggs did not taste like anything and there appeared to be some kind of hash that was not very good. Waffles were good.

The room was comfortable and clean. The Hampton Inn is a great place to stay, except for the breakfast. Selection was often limited and the repeated potatoes and peppers, as well has the sliced hot dogs and chicken sausage left much to be desired.

One night stay for my daughters volleyball tournament. The room was super clean and the beds very comfortable. Convenient walk thermostat for controlling temperature. Pool area was warm & well kept. Breakfast options were great & food kept freshly stocked. This hotel is definitely worth the money. It’s right down the road from Papa John’s so we had pizza delivered while the team was swimming!
