Days Inn by Wyndham New Philadelphia

Room needed a better cleaning. Was in need of fresh paint, stains on wall removed, bathroom the same need. Ice machine was broken.

Not what your looking for if you want fancy or great condition but the price is great and a good place for an overnight stop to put your feet up and room does have a microwave and mini fridge, although pool was under construction during our stay

Place was a total dump. Virtually nobody was staying there for obvious reasons. Property picture shows a pool which was not even operating, was empty and needed many repairs. Listing said breakfast was included, which was not. I was sold a complete bait and switch product. I felt very unsafe at this property location.

It was just okay. Close enough to food options. Beds were clean and comfortable, but floor needed to be washed. No water in the pool on a 90 degree day was very bad.

The pool has been closed for weeks but it was not added to any sites that it was closed. The shower was dirty. There was no fire alarm. I don't know if they have an updated system but they just put a cage around where the fire alarm should have been. Holes in the walls. The property did not look like the pictures. It is very run down. The fact I ended up with 2 charges on my card I was unable to do other things or move to another hotel. Very disappointed with this hotel.

No working ice machine - at least in the morning the person gave me some ice. Too small not able to have area for breakfast.

The ice machine was turned off. Management said they turned it off because of people filling up coolers. The room was so small they have two double beds both against the wall’s and the one was blocking the ac return so it wasn’t getting cold until the bed was moved to the middle of the room which put it against the other bed

Nothing to like. Pool closed. No mourning breakfast. Dirty rooms ,door work half the time as locking. Dirty blankets other people food an snack food on floor an lots under both beds spiderwebs in all corners an any where you look . people trying to open door between rooms .

I will never stay there again. The shower was lukewarm at best. There were pods for making coffee in a coffee maker but no coffee maker. The ice machine didn't work.

Despite all the horrible reviews the place wasn’t that bad. Good value for the money. No pool.

I was given room 114, the room was dirty, in disrepair. found 2 spoiled take-out dinners in the microwave, bathroom door was so warped it would not close, shower was dirty and dust balls under the bed. This was NOTHING like the advertisement. I give this place a minus 5 star rating !!!

The Inn itself was OK outside. For it being a Days Inn I would have expected better. The beds were way too soft & although the staff I did encounter was decent, the bathroom was horrible for a reputable name. The shower was older with the tiles & mold on the grout, a big bleack hair clump on the floor of the shower & terrible stains in the toilet! I guess the definition of "clean" is different to some people. There was no room to maneuver & relax. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

I had bugs in my room.

This place has roaches and the roaches were in the room where I stayed I was very disgusted I’ve never been more disappointed in a place !

Dirty rooms…the floors were so filthy that your feet turns black just walking around.

The room was filfthy. The TV didnt work. There was mold everywhere in the bathroom. And when we woke uo from the first night sleep there, we found bed bugs

This hotel was dirty and was in need of repair. There were unrepaired holes in the bathroom wall, poorly repaired holes in the bedroom area, trash under the bed, dirt and hair in the shower. The mirror had several black areas from the back possibly due to being removed and placed back to the same wall.The rooms looked nothing like the images online. There was no toiletries in the room and 1 set of bath towels for 2 people. There was 2 plugs in the room 1 for the lamp between the beds and the other for a tv and extension cord that had a coffee maker, microwave, and a refrigerator (fire hazard). If we could give this place zero stars we would. We booked for 2 nights. Stayed one and moved to another hotel.

There was literally dried up pee on the toilet seat and the mirror was dirty. I’m not even sure they cleaned the room. There’s also holes in the walls.

The room door was not closing properly. The refrigerator was loud and not functioning. The towels were dirty. The shower had mold. The breakfast consisted of 1 yoghurt, 1 cereal bar, 1 small bag of mini muffins, a small bottle of water and 1 cup of coffee for each person. There was no table or chair in the room. One package of creamer, sugar, stirrer and napkin was already opened and had the napkin missing.

There wasn't even a chair to sit on in the room, but would stay again for the price.

The property in its self was ok - the room I stayed in was very poor. It did not have a desk/table to sit at or use my laptop. The beds were pushed against the walls with only a small 3 foot space between them. The bathroom shower did not work and had a lot of rust.

To drive to my room there was a huge pothole that was at least 3 feet wide by 4 feet long. The door to room didn't even shut correctly and you could see about 3/4" on the bottom side of it. The bolt lock didn't work. The safety lock was loose as it wasn't screwed in well. On top of that there was no ice bucket, no tissues. The light above the TV didn't work. And the shower head wouldn't move to be able to easily hit me. The first shower the water was only warm.

Shower fixtures showed years of wear, air conditioner display not working right.Beds were good and room was clean. Room was what one should expect for the price.

The pictures on the website are not current. The office sign was not readable. Checkin was not a problem. Went to the first room and could not get in so they gave us another room. The housekeeper who was off that day was very helpful in getting us another room and making sure we were able to get in. The room needed updated but it was clean. The second lock on the door was broken and there was a gap halfway down the door. The paint was missing on half the door on the outside. They definitely have hot water and the shower had a lot of pressure. Toilet paper holder was broken. There are a lack of electrical outlets. One socket for the TV, microwave, frig and coffee pot. We had to unplug the TV to use the microwave. I took the coffee pot in the bathroom to plug it up. Seems like they would get rid of the iron and ironing board and install a hair dryer. We were only there to sleep and the beds were comfortable and clean and for the low price, I would stay there again.

The room was small with the 2 double beds. But it was clean and in pretty good shape with some old fixtures at the same time. The staff was friendly.

Staff was very friendly

There was no soap in our room. I went to the desk early in the morning and nobody was in there. I kept ringing the bell and still no one came, so I had to go to Wal Mart and buy some body wash to take a shower with. I would never stay there again!

Difficult check in. Room keys did not work and some of our nine rooms weren't doubles. Eight of my guys left to another hotrl because of it. Trying to resolve a refund.

the staff at check-in were really friendly but said that the room would be ready in 10 mins. while it was cleaned, not so 45mins. we were offered another room with 2 beds (did not want). floor was dirty, sandwich in microwave. no table or chairs, security latch was missing, toilet seat was not secure ( they fixed promptly)

Check in was delayed for 15 minutes as the desk clerk said an employee went home early and didn't finish cleaning our senior accessible room, so she had to check and substitute another room. Also she answered two consecutive phone calls (instead of putting them on hold) while I was waiting for the room key! The pool was not clear water but murky looking, our shower had a wet/bloody towel left in the corner, which meant we had to go back to the office and ask for another towel. Not the best place to stay.

Did not stay, attendant never answered door bell been trying to reach them phone # disconnected/ no one is giving me any feedback on it!

I stay here often, this particular time the room was a bit less than expected. I do take price into consideration, but my room on this trip left a lot to be desired. In addition, I realized a few hours after I booked, I had inadvertently booked for the wrong date. I contacted Expedia who contacted the property in an attempt to correct my booking date but could not as it was non refundable. I made another booking for the correct date which was for that evening hoping for a resolve when I checked in. The person at the desk seemed to be confused as to what I was asking and offered no help. I realize it’s my mistake when I booked, but I was hoping that even though non refundable, that since I did stay a different night and they still got that money that for a repeat customer, they would make an attempt to contact management to resolve. So for now, I paid double for a less than acceptable room and I’m now hoping the $50 room deposit I had to put on my card (which I’ve never been charged before) gets refunded so I don’t end up with a cost of $180 for something that was not even worth the $65 I paid for the room that didn’t come close to what I was used to from this property. I believe I’ll be ending my use of this property. I gave a 3 instead of a 1 because I know they are usually better

The staff was super welcoming and helpful. The hotel is actively trying to update, and is still making progress in this area. But if you are looking for a hotel with a comfortable, clean bed, and quick hot water and a safe location, all at an affordable price, you can't go wrong with this hotel. The location is convenient to multiple restaurants and stores.

Staff was great very friendly convenient location several stores,restaurants,and gas stations all within walking distance ......you can even walk across the road and go fishing 🎣 in Tuscarawas river lol

The sign said the pool was open. It was not, it was also green. The room smelled like bleached mold and the shower was lined with black mold. There were 2 outlets for 3 devices, one of which was the mini fridge, which was iced up and dripping on the inside. The toilet screamed when it was flushed and there was hair curly-cues all over the floor. Absolutely awful, felt sketchy and trafficky.

Great location. Clean, comfortable room with exceptional staff. Proximity to Walmart, Sheetz and I-77 are major conveniences for me.

Close to food and shopping

Property is very old, scary, and dirty. Does not feel like a safe spot for families. It was 115$ for the night CAD and even that was over paying. I would pay triple next time to avoid. We did not use the shower as it was so yucky looking. We got in late- slept and got out as fast as possible. I should have know better as this is my second terrible experience with days inn Wyndham property- but I will never do it again!

The place was easy to find. The service at the lobby was fine. The room was clean but the bed could have been bigger for my wife and I. Overall very satisfied with our stay!

Nice place, very quiet. Pet friendly and this hotel trruly means that. It was only $15. For each dog.

Breakfast advertised starting at 630. Door unlocked at 651 only to learn it was a bagged breakfast consisting of a microwaved breakfast wrap, what the hell. Noisy patrons and homeless noisy as well. Will never stay at a Days in again

As soon as we arrive there is no one at the desk. We had to call to get someone to the front desk. The room was very small and parts were actually crumbling. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot. If you are expecting breakfast (because it is advertised as including breakfast) you are given a brown bag with mini muffins, yogurt, a granola bar and water. There is no coffee or tea (unless you make it in your room). This is fine for having a place to sleep for a night, but I wouldn’t stay for more than that.

I can’t believe that Wyndham allows their name on this run down dumpster fire. Extremely disappointing. I’d give it 0 stars if that was possible.

The site said there was a pool and breakfast, the hotel has NEITHER.

There was no breakfast as.stated. Tv remote didn't work correctly. Heat would not regulate. Very poor lighting. Would not stay there again. One person cannot operate a motel by themselves. He really tried.

Very disappointed… gave us a bagged breakfast. No coffee in the morning. I thought from the description they did a continental breakfast? But to not have coffee?
