The property was great. Room was big. Okay bar in the lobby for drinks. Starbucks coffee in the lobby. Parking was tight for our SUV and spaces were few.

They have an onsite restaurant that even leaves out snacks you can purchase when closed at night in case you need them. They also have a bar and mini starbucks on site. They had a live band playing when we arrived. It is super close to the beach

Loved the place overall! Needed more staff in food area for a busy weekend! Took too long and was pricey, but food was excellent. Great bar, great pool area, great band navy the pool! Loved that. Rooms were clean and comfortable, loved that they had balconies even though it’s a hotel.

Well maintained with outstanding front desk staff -especially Helen. All rooms have an ocean view. 1 minute walk to the beach. Great surf - clean beach. Sparkling pool. Nice restaurant but don’t order the carne nachos - I don’t know what they were thinking.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a really last minute, affordable, available option for the week of July 4th! The pool is cleaned every single morning, a towel service at the pool, a free, warm cookie anytime - not just at check-in, the seating around pool area is clean and comfortable. Lots of umbrellas. Food at the little snack bar is decent convenient - fries are notably good. The lobby has a cinnamon apple scent that wasn’t my favorite, but that may just be a personal preference. There are two ramps to the beach - wish they were a little bit longer. The lamps in the rooms have outlets attached that don’t work. Had to unplug the alarm clock to plug in our chargers, but no biggie, I guess. Starbucks coffee in the lobby was great in the morning. Staff is friendly and kind. 3 elevators, very fast, and working at all times. Every single room has a balcony facing the gulf with absolutely gorgeous views. The balcony was perfect. Wish the chairs provided were a little higher to see over the railing at the ocean. A higher backed bar stool would be a nice touch to observe the view more easily. You cannot connect/cast streaming from your phone to the room tvs, unfortunately. I bet you could bring a Roku or something, if desired. Otherwise, just regular cable. Overall, I would go back, if not just for affordability sake. The beds are so so comfortable. Zeke’s restaurant is right across the street and is incredible food!

The hotel and views were wonderful. I called ahead to see if the pool was in working order but it wasn’t. Had a couple of different front desk staff 2 out of 3 were nice and kind. The only issue with my room was that the thermostat wasn’t working and the room wouldn’t get colder than 75. I was too tired to switch rooms so I just dealt with it. Overall good hotel and they have cookies.

Clean rooms and excellent hot showers! Enjoyed the balcony view. Dining area was also clean and nice, breakfast is not complimentary but staff was nice. Enjoyed direct beach access. Only thing that caught me by surprise a Coke was $4.98!! :

This was my anniversary trip. Excellent view. Bathroom fan did not work. Restaurant and bar are nice. Pool was nice and warm with live music in the afternoon. This is a non-smoking and non-vaping property. $300 fine if they catch you smoking on your balcony.

We stayed at this property in September of 2022 and everything was great. This time there was water standing on the balcony you couldn’t even step out and relax. None of the outlets in the room except the bathroom worked I couldn’t charge anything. The stay was just not good this time. One more thing the room smelled musty. It was just not what I expected for what I paid.

We totally enjoyed everything that this hotel has to offer with comfortable clean peaceful stay & the staff was excellent with check in & out & house keeping kept on top restocking our rooms during our stay .. Island House is conveniently located, and from the outside the aesthetic is decent. The inside could use improvement; the rooms are semi upgraded. Bathrooms are relatively new, but the rooms still have popcorn ceilings, carpet, and box air conditioning. The walls are so thin, you can hear your neighboring guest cough. The staff was very pleasant and friendly, but the Hilton is wasting a superb beachfront property by skimping on the renovations.

I was disappointed this time about my stay this past weekend. The people above me were noisy, mattress has seen better days and very squeaky. Showers are unusually small. The AC is one of the loudest I have experienced at any hotel I've ever stayed in. It's so difficult to get any sleep given the frequency of the AC going on and off. The staff were great and friendly throughout my stay. Restaurant just okay. Overall not the best time.

I never checked in because I cancelled this on Expedia. I never even received a receipt. Now Expedia charged me the full stay price and said you are refusing to refund my money. This feels like a scam. SO DISAPPOINTED especially since I am a HILTON HONORS MEMBER.

Nice place. Close to beach. Beach was clean and pretty. All rooms faced the sea. What we did not like was that the management had checked us out the next day and gave our room to someone else without our permission. And assigned the room to another guest who walked in on us. We had a 3 night stay. Very disappointing. They had to reassign the room to back to us with a discount.

The customer service at this hotel was EXCELLENT. Sherica was VERY helpful and made my check in effortless. That set the tone for a great experience. Wish we were here longer than one day but we will come here without hesitation. We had a wonderful balcony room. The view was AMAZING. Checkout was easy and communication to check to ensure we were comfortable was greatky appreciated. Kudos to this property for great customer catering and interaction.

We stayed in a corner suite on the 10th floor. It was beautiful, clean and large. We ate breakfast in the eating area on the first floor that was very good. The staff was fantastic very responsive when I checked in making it a simple, easy clean transaction. The bed was very comfortable. The only thing I can say is I would like to have an option on pillow thickness I like a flat pillow and all four pillows on our king-size bed were very thick. But seriously if that’s my only complaint then that’s not even a complaint. We will most definitely be staying at this lovely island house accommodations again.
