Arrival was ridiculous with not knowing what bldg upon finding from signs in another bldg only to learn must go to second floor to check in never had I seen nor had that before. Upon entering the gentleman behind desk was not friendly, not polite, not welcoming at all.

Definitely not worth what we paid. Most of the staff were foreign and could not communicate. Bathtub drained very slow and unable to soak in bath. Restaurant closed at 8 pm and 9 on weekend. Which is rediculous at a beach hotel.

Good price for peak season. Two pools and a view of the ocean, plus enough bedding for 2 adults and 3 kids. We loved being on the boardwalk and the ocean! The lobby was very nice as was the upper deck pool bar. We had a great stay and it was a great value.

Wonderful staff starting from GM to room attendant Anna and Nikola. Loved the room and pool. Excellent lobby scent. The pool was a hit specially the Bar & Grill. John was a 5 star employee. One of the most attentive and caring waiter. Great Job. We will be back again.

Clean hotel , great pool bar and restaurant. I would definitely go back. I just wish the pool and bar didn’t close at 8 pm. Especially in summertime. That would be my only complaint, otherwise is was great and the location on the boardwalk was perfect!

The front desk and cleaning staff were attentive and did their job well. The bath tub in the room was clogged and made showering very very difficult. Additionally, the room had mold in the bathroom and on the walls and ceiling.

First room they gave us was in the first floor and it was dirty, old, smelled like mold and we found live bugs, asked to be moved and they put us in a third floor room that was better but still absolutely not worth the very high price due to the busy weekend. They can charge all they want because of demand and supply but the reviews should always be based on comfort per $ spent

Rooms are not clean, you had to slam our door to get it to close. Carpet in the hallways was filthy and needed vacuuming that never happened during our entire stay. There was a shelf outside of our room with a flower pot on it that was broken and just left there. Would not stay here again.

It was really terrible!!!!!! I regret a lot to stay in Crystal beach hotel I suppose to stay in 2 nights August 6-8 but I check out day before August 7 th. I didn’t want to stay in there probably not even one minute my daughter and me had a bugs bite After we slept there our faces got break out and arm area after we woke up so we didn’t want to stay there until August 8th . This property is terrible and dirty and smells ll really bad. And I pay more money to try to get good quality room but they charge me a lot of money but didn’t give me upgrades room my room was handicap room with no bathtub but they didn’t want to upgrade my room nor didn’t pay back difference of price I didn’t get the room what i supposed to get even I pay more not even the normal standard room L. It was terrible nightmare experience stay in that crystal beach hotel!

EMPLOYEES WERE GRATE, POLITE AND HELPFUL. HOWEVER, NEED TOILET SEAT REPLACEMENT, UPGRADE TV, FOG LIGHT REPLACEMENT IN THE SHOWER, BETTER TOILET TISSUES. Looks okay at first glance but could be cleaner. Underside of pullout mattress was filthy and on last day of stay had a cockroach in bathroom also the bedding sheets etc need to be replaced as they old and warn out.

We had a beach view and was impressed how much of the ocean we could see. The room was very clean. The only downside was the TV was very bad. There was no TV guide and the picture quality was terrible.

The crystal beach hotel is about on par with other hotels on the boardwalk. It’s ok at best, nothing special. We stayed here one night and it did what it needed to do I guess. The property is outdated but that wasn’t a surprise. It’s super convenient and you can get to anything, which is nice. The staff was nice and helpful and the hotel is right on the beach which is what you are paying for.

The Crystal Beach is not a bad place to stay but it is becoming dated and soon will need some renovation. When we checked in at 4:00 our room was not ready so we waited a half hour to get in. Even then the floor of the room was not clean and the hallway was a mess. I expect this was a big turnover day but obviously they need more housekeepers. So the 64 dollar question is “Would we stay here again?” The answer is only Maybe.

We where here August we had a good experience except for noisy AC. This trip we stayed 2 days we had a moldy room no one came to fix . No new towels, no coffee, no one came to fix room. When we called the last day to ask for a half hour extension. Jeff at the desk so rude. And didn’t grant it after explaining everything .

Check in was awful, it took 50 min in line to check in in a hot crowded lobby. We considered going elsewhere. But once checked in, everything else was just fine. Comfortable room, comfortable bed, nice staff, great location. Bus stop just across the parking lot was convenient.

Our check in process was a hassle because my husband did it in his name but he did not come with us so the front desk clerk was like why would he put it in his name if he wasnt coming saying this with frustration in her voice then she proceeds to say well I will see what we have to do to fix it. There was not enough washcloths in our room for the amount of guests in our room we booked a room for 4 and only had 2 washcloths then my daughter and I walked back over to the front desk as the phone in the rooms has no kind of directory on it to how to reach the front desk or anyone, so we went and asked for washcloths well they had none said they would have to bring some to our room later so we went to dinner and came back and there was 2 washcloths in a large trashbag tied to our door, then when we got ready for bed we noticed there was NO bed linens at all in our room for the pull out couch so once again I had to walk over to the lobby which let me remind you is not in our hotel building and I had to ask for bed linens then next day even though your check in papers say daily refresh of rooms we didnt know but apparently you have to put the tag on your door and flip it to say maid service so we didnt get any cleaning done and just so happens we seen housekeeping in the hall to ask for towels and washcloths only to get told they had no washcloths they would bring some which they never did. Long story short our stay was for 4 days and I had to go buy washcloths because we never got a

We loved the location and affordability of this hotel. We had a room with an ocean view, it was lovely. The balcony was large enough my family of 6 could app be on it. The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately the response to reuests was quite slow. We stayed for 2 nights. I started calling at 3pm to ensure our room would be serviced with fresh towels. After 4 hours and 6 phone calls we finally got the room cleaned for the day and new towels. We would stay again though. It was frustrating but not a deal breaker.

While checking in the lady was too busy on her phone. Not paying attention to what she was doing had me check into wrong room with all my stuff and I had to load everything back up walk and go all the way back to other building to front desk and wait for correct room

My family stayed at this hotel from May 24th to May 26th and had a partial oceanfront view. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The room was a bit dated, but it was clean and functional. Whenever I needed new towels or blankets, I received them promptly. The hotel has a restaurant and provides several coupon books for discounts at local restaurants and attractions. There were plenty of local activities within walking distance. The view of the beach from the balcony was lovely. Our room also had a kitchenette with a sink, microwave, and fridge. Additionally, they have a free ice machine and vending machines. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there.

This is a great place to stay, right on the boardwalk. It was clean and the desk representatives were kind and able to answer any questions. They allow you to use hotel amenities until your room is ready. The pool bar and restaurant were convenient and tasty. The hotel has ample parking. I would recommend the hotel!

The weather was not cooperative for this day, but I go to this hotel every year for my mini beach vacation. This hotel is clean, the staff is very accommodating and friendly, and the hotel bar has great food, yummy drinks and the bartenders are wonderful. This is a family, friendly hotel.

One of the best places I’ve stayed at in Ocean City. Easy, fast check in/out, clean, spacious rooms with great view, steps away from the boardwalk and the Barracuda Bar and Grill was a huge hit with our family! Thanks for a great stay! We will be back!

We stayed here for Oceans Calling Festival. Check in and Check out went smooth. Was clean, maybe could use some updating. Bed was a bit hard so we didn't sleep the greatest. Went to go to the onsite restaurant/bar on Sunday around 7pm and found put it was closed and asked the front desk and he said it closed for the season but nothing was posted or said at check in. Besides that and the bed it was a good stay.
