The bathrooms seem to be newly renovated and very nice and clean! The staff is friendly and helpful, if overworked. There were few times where I noticed no one being at the front desk (this also happened while I was trying to check in and out. The air conditioner was very dirty (looked like mold but I don’t know) and could stand to have a good cleaning and maybe a new filter. The bedding was clean. Not a bad place to stay in and pinch and you get what you pay for. I could also hear the comedy club that is located below, which didn’t hinder me from sleeping but might be good for others to know!

First off, No parking available here. Secondly, Comedy club in a dive bar inside hotel, not a family friendly restaurant definitely 21+ vibes. Loud crowd when show gets out. Third, Lots of stairs no working elevator. Fourth, no mini fridge. Fifth, rooms are most definitely clean but not soundproof. Staff was helpful. I stayed with my daughter to tour colleges. It is somewhat close to Dupont circle and Foggy bottom. It is super close to the metro bus line. It worked for us but won't go back due to the facilities being too outdated and lack of parking.

Even though the hotel is the "old school " with small rooms, the rest was pretty good.

Fantastic quickly hotel in a brilliant location just off DuPont Circle. Loads of great bars and restaurants close by. Highly recommend but remember it’s not 5 star for a reason.
