The hotel has historic charm--like the quaint lift. It is in a great location in Reims on a lively pedestrian street close to sights and connections. It is across the street from an underground city parking service. There are a variety of restaurants for all budgets in the area (but make reservations for the better ones). The breakfast is good if you want something substantial, otherwise there are a couple coffee shops down the block. We stayed in November and it was quiet. Some may find the old hotel a bit cramped a worn here and there, but the TV and plumbing worked well and the beds were comfortable.

JE DECONSEILLE CET HOTEL Ne pas croire qu'un 3 étoiles vaut toujours mieux qu'un 2 étoiles. - Chambres sans aucune insonorisation, si voisin bruyant comme j'ai pu avoir, c'est nuit blanche assurée ou partielle. - Eau chaude de la douche arrive au bout de 10 minutes (problème qui existe depuis des mois voire plus). - Odeur d'égoût dans la chambre car la porte de la salle d'eau était ouverte. - Parking payant hyper cher 16,5€ (pas que pour les 24h) - Pas de geste type bouilloire et sachet de thé. POSITIF mais ça ne concerne pas tout le monde: la nuitée du chien est gratuite. La réceptionniste était sympa.

Hotel Crystal is de ideale plek om voor een zeer aanvaardbaar bedrag midden in het meest bruisende deel van Reims (Place d'Erlon) te verblijven. Het hotel heeft de ingang aan de uitgaansstraat van Reims maar via de passage en de binnentuin kom je bij het hotel zelf. Daardoor heb je geen last van drukte maar heb je wel direct alles onder handbereik. De mensen zijn uitermate vriendelijk. De kamers/het hotel ogen wellicht gedateerd voor hen die op zoek zijn naar strak en modern maar het is in werkelijkheid lieflijk, romantisch, prettig en uotermate geschikt voor een weekendje Reims.

De foto's van het Hotel lijken veelbelovend, tot je de kamers in het echt ziet. Onze kamer was extreem vuil, haar en kruimels overal. Ook in het bed was het nog vol met haar van andere mensen. Op de wc-bril waren ook nog schaamharen terug te vinden. Toen we het personeel aanspraken, hadden ze beloofd onze kamer te kuisen, maar hebben enkel de lakens gedaan zoals ze voor elke kamer doen. Nadien zijn we nog eens gaan klagen en werd er wederom niets gedaan. Het personeel bleef gewoon 'het spijt me' zeggen. Alsof ze het gewoon zijn en zelfs niet meer luisteren. Ook zag ik de vrouw van de receptie, die zich ook bezig hield met het opruimen van het ontbijt, een stukje stokbrood van een gebruikt bord terug tussen het "verse" stokbrood leggen... Echt geen aanrader, en zeker niet voor de prijs die ik betaald heb... Vermijd dit hotel als je toch een minimum aan netheid/hygiëne wenst.

Chambre très petite, surtout avec un troisième lit pas nécessaire vu que nous étions 2…salle de bain vétuste et pas très nette, plafond en décomposition, serviettes de bain minuscules et très fines.

Hotel dans un immeuble en retrait de la grande rue vivante de Reims donc très bien placé. Mauvaise isolation sonore (on entend les voisins parler ou ronfler). Chambre (n°22) différente des photos, la mienne était vieillissante et bonde de lavabo avec fuite donc forte odeur d'humidité. double porte pour isoler du couloir. Bonne literie. Petit déjeuner moyen mais comme visible sur photo donc pas de surprise.

Lovely hotel in a perfect location for everything. Our room was cleaned daily and although not the biggest we have stayed in was fine, only downside would be no air conditioning but a powerful fan was supplied. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The price was not value. A triple room, which could hardly fit two persons. Sticky and very hot atmosphere with no air conditioning or air circulation system. No extractor in the bath either. One had to open the window giving straight access from the roof to the room - very risky, but no chance to get some fresh air. Service was helpful with a dehydrator, bur room overall very disappointing for that price range. OK 3-star, but that room is not suitable for 3 persons.

Do not stay here. The photo online was deceptive! The room was totally unacceptable. The hotel was set back between 2 buildings. The desk clerk referred us to a sister hotel when we refused the room. It was BAD!

Hotel Crystal is de ideale plek om voor een zeer aanvaardbaar bedrag midden in het meest bruisende deel van Reims (Place d'Erlon) te verblijven. Het hotel heeft de ingang aan de uitgaansstraat van Reims maar via de passage en de binnentuin kom je bij het hotel zelf. Daardoor heb je geen last van drukte maar heb je wel direct alles onder handbereik. De mensen zijn uitermate vriendelijk. De kamers/het hotel ogen wellicht gedateerd voor hen die op zoek zijn naar strak en modern maar het is in werkelijkheid lieflijk, romantisch, prettig en uotermate geschikt voor een weekendje Reims.

Het is geen duur hotel en de bedden liggen goed.

The hotel has historic charm--like the quaint lift. It is in a great location in Reims on a lively pedestrian street close to sights and connections. It is across the street from an underground city parking service. There are a variety of restaurants for all budgets in the area (but make reservations for the better ones). The breakfast is good if you want something substantial, otherwise there are a couple coffee shops down the block. We stayed in November and it was quiet. Some may find the old hotel a bit cramped a worn here and there, but the TV and plumbing worked well and the beds were comfortable.

Hotel Crystal is a quiet haven only five minutes walk from the train station. The property is very clean and I love the terrace in front. The staff is wonderful, and I recommend the breakfast! Thanks for a great stay in Reims!

Decent to be honest. Friendly staff and your on the main street when you leave. Parking is excellent if your car is under 1.9m high as you can park in the underground parking. But i have a van and it meant that i had to park a little further away at the train station which was only just over a 5 minute walk. I would book there again.

Awesome period building in very centre of Reims. Been using it for over 40yrs! Loved all the upgrades & refurbs. Very happy to have air con this year (phew) Would be helpful if every room had a small fridge- hit & miss at mo. Still love the place- whatever

Rooms definitely need to be updated. Rest of the hotel is dated but not untidy. Things like the shower head hanging off and the toilet cistern constantly running we’re annoying. Just needs some money spent on maintenance
