Red Planet Hotel Cebu is a budget friendly hotel that is in a great location. Check-in and check-out was very smooth. The room itself is not that huge but it served its purpose. The staff we came across with were very professional, personable and helpful. They do not have a restaurant on the premisesbut they have a restaurant tie-up which we did not use during this trip. There is a mall a few minutes walk and a 7 Eleven nearby as well. You cannot go wrong with this location. Thank you for a pleasant stay Red Planet Hotel Cebu.

Yeah, no. The place is a dump. To say basic is an understatement. There is literally nothing in the room to give it any character, just a bare walled box in need of maintenance with a loud window air conditioner. No water kettle, wash clothes... Nothing. The breakfast is brought up to you in a box. Good morning, here are your COLD pancakes and eggs. And a bottle of WATER, your only drink option. Could we not get a juice? I booked two days. After the first day I went to the desk and asked if I could just get a refund on my second day booking so I could move as the place was not for me. The response: Sorry. Already paid online. You can speak to management. In MANILA. Seriously? So I ate the second day and moved to a real hotel that was not much more expensive. The higher ratings here in contrast to my experience make me wonder if they are all astroturf. AVOID.

Great location, close to Ayala Mall. Staff are nice and friendly. The room is small and basic which I don’t mind for a 2 night stay. The only part I didn’t like is the stench in the hallway. It was unbearable especially early in the morning. The window has to be opened to air out the area. Other than that, a pleasant stay.

Pros: Room was clean and modern. Good lighting. Comfortable bed. Excellent shower -- good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Had handy soap dispenser in shower. Fast free wi-fi. Economical. Good location: a block away from a huge shopping mall and there was a 7-11 next door and a laundry next to that. Cons: Only two electrical outlets and one of them didn't work. Wall control for a/c didn't work -- I could adjust it from the unit itself but it was rather high up so a problem for short people. Room was very small, basically just big enough for a double bed and some room to walk around it. No coffee maker or any other amenities in room. Overall, I'm unlikely to stay there again because of the small size of the room, but if you're on a budget and planning to use the room just to shower and sleep, it's a very good option.

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est très bon, près de Metro Ayala, juste quelques minutes de marche. Pour l'hôtel il est plutot bien sécurisé avec un garde à l'entrée et l'obligation d'une carte d'accès. Le wifi marchait mal? Dure à comprendre vu que nous sommes près de Cebu Business Park. L'air condition fuyait, le matin il y avait plein d'eau par terre. Bon point douche chaude avec une grande pompe. Dernier mauvais point, les coussins sont très in-confortable pour la qualitée de Red Planet.

The main reason to stay here is the location, it's right across from the mall and right next to a 7/11. The doorman and coffee girls were nice and helpful. The actual room left a lot to be desired though- the room was clean, but the air conditioner was loud, the shower leaked water onto the floor, and there was paint peeling from the walls.

We have always stayed at Red planet Cebu for 10 years now. Every time we come we would spend between 3 to 5 weeks. We like this hotel because it's very clean and the staff are very nice, very attentive and very reliable. Kudos to Nerissa and Gina from front desk and the Tisoy and Mark guarding the door and hailing a cab for us. That was a nice touch. Also a shout out to Amieboy and Michael for cleaning the rooms. To the entire staff - thank you for always providing us with excellent service!

Heartily recommend this property fir its very convenient location, walkable to the shopping malls. Very friendly staff. Rooms are small but just right for those who will be busy around town during the daytime and use the room only for a pleasant nights sleep. For the price and location, its hard to beat.
