Absolutely wonderful property! Building is in great condition, amenities are far above standard, location is central to everything, and the staff members are warm, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The Junior Executive Suite or Executive Loft are the ideal options to select if they are within your budget. They both have ample seating space, as well as separate sleeping and living areas. My Junior Executive Suite was a corner unit with an outstanding view of the city and the ocean. Complete with a washer/dryer, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, two burner stove, dual a/c units, a 55" TV in the living area and a 32" TV in the bedroom with too many cable channels to list. Transportation options exist right outside the front door and several food options are within walking distance. Ayala Mall is a 10 minute taxi trip, but traffic conditions can turn this into a 40 minute ride, so plan accordingly. There are numerous bars within a 10 minute walk, and a concierge in the lobby that can arrange tours or transportation. The fitness center is severely under equipped. They have dumbells, a cable machine, 2 treadmills, 2 adjustable benches, and a bike. The area is also cramped. The square footage is similar to the living area in the Junior Executive Suite. Overall, a great place to stay no matter what's on your agenda. They offer rates for long-term stays as well.

Tours are offered in the lobby. Supermarket and restaurants in the same building as Citadines. Pool has an amazing view of the city. Its really beautifully lit up at night . Loved having my complimentary coffee in the reception. Has a peaceful vibe. Mac computers are available for use. Room was big and modern. A free galloon of drinking water was provided. I used the laundry room . Made things easy . Toiletries in bathroom smelled amazing. Breakfast buffet has a ton of options. Pastries and cakes look and taste wonderful. Carpet was clean wnough for my daughter to crawl on. Crib was provided as well. Really felt at home.

I would gladly stay at this hotel again. The staff is friend and extremely outgoing. The property is clean and linen change daily. The morning butter is massive and has a very wide variety with a brunch feel. You are within ten minutes ride of mall, hospital, parks etc…. The pool, gym, laundry, and bar are on the 9th floor as is the main desk for check in/out. There are enough restaurants on the ground floor so food isn’t a problem, try Sunburst chicken and Korean Bbq.

The Citadines was a nice hotel. The room we had was over a party and was too loud so we changed to a smaller room. The washer/dryer feature is nice but the dryers don’t work well. We had to go down to the 9th floor to dry our clothes which was a hassle. Out of their six dryers, one was working. The restaurant was ok. Breakfast had a nice variety. The pool was nice on the roof but they had no umbrellas for shade and it gets very hot. The tours/excursions from there are hard on the body. The city center is 3-5 hours drive to the Kawasan Falls 3-5 hours to do horrendous traffic so keep that in mind when booking. The staff was nice and the Christmas decor was lovely.

Kitchen sink linked all over the floor, more than once. The TV in the bedroom had no sound.The wifi would drop off occasionally. If you have issues with your room you may not be able to reach the front desk. Breakfast was decent except for roaches crawling around on the pastries. There are plenty dining options and a grocery in the same complex as the Hotel.

Needed a hotel for a one-night stay in Cebu before heading back to Manila and Citadines was a perfect fit. First off, I need to mention that Citadines is a “serviced apartment” style hotel which means that rooms come with more than the usual hotel amenities. The main addition is a kitchen and pantry area complete with cookware and utensils. The basic amenities are all present and correct. The hotel is fairly new and it shows in the condition of the rooms and building in general. We did have an issue with the shower in our room having a very slow drain. First-timers might find the hotel's layout a bit confusing in that the hotel itself is just part of a high-rise multi-use skyscraper in the heart of downtown Cebu. What looks like reception is actually a concierge desk for arranging tours and activities – the actual reception is in the hotel lobby which is all the way up on the 9th floor. From the 9th floor up of the building is the actual Citadines hotel itself. The aforementioned pool was an ample size and wonderful to be in, whether just relaxing or turning laps. It does get a bit chilly though exposed to the wind at that height. Breakfast was an excellent buffet. Room service isn't available from the hotel per se but they do inform you of an app that's available for delivery via a co-branded service. Service from the staff was above average. Location-wise the hotel was in a good spot in the heart of Cebu City. Overall, we had a great stay.

This property is 6 years old and well maintained. Rooms are on the small side (we had a 1 BR suite), felt tight. Slippers are provided but very flimsy, no bathrobes. Kitchenette has all required items for 2 guests. Buffet breakfast was ok (Seda has better selection). We asked for latte and there was a surcharge! We did have a take away breakfast prepared for an early excursion and it was the best packed breakfast I've had!

Room corner suite. 15th floor. Beautiful view of the new Bridge and city. The room is a fully functional apartment including cookware and utensils. Plenty of storage space as well. Rooms are modern decor and bed is very comfortable. I loved that the complex has a Robinson's grocery market downstairs as well as a 24/7 Mini mart. Very convenient to supply the room. Breakfast was good and service was excellent. Its provided by Abaca Restaurant downstairs. 24/7 Currency exchange available down the street with 5 minute walk. Fuente Circle and Mango Square 10 minute walk. Pool was very nice but no afternoon sum due to shadow of building. I will gladly stay here again.

The staff are amazingly pleasant to deal with. When we arrived the air conditioner in our room was dripping water onto the couch and we were instantly moved to another room. Later, the WiFi in the room was too weak for my notebook to use and they quickly installed a router to make working there possible (Thanks!). There is a grocery store in the basement of the building that was a wonderful treat. My wife used their in-room massage service twice and loved it. There is a taxi rank in front of the building. The pool was ho hum, but had a lovely breeze. We had a suite, but it seemed a bit on the small side. There was a washer and dried in the room that was a nice treat as well as sink and fridge. All in All, I would stay here again and recommend it. I do not think it is a 10-star hotel, but it is a solid place to stay.

Check in was delayed. Waited 1 hour (3pm to 4pm). Noise is horrible. Dont stay on 11th floor. You can hear even casual conversations from meetings on their 10th floor. Speaker and music from meetings is so loud, you cant hear your own tv.

We recently booked a six-night stay in this hotel. I rate this hotel 10/10. First of all, it’s off-season.The price I paid was very reasonable. We arrived early at 9 AM and were allowed early check-in without additional cost. The hotel stands out in cleanliness, prompt Customer Service and a king’s breakfast for two that’s offered at ABACA cafe - an upper mid to high end restaurant. It has a pool, gym, and laundry area. Transportation within the city is not a problem as there is a taxi line in front of the hotel. Their concierge is also very helpful. There is a free gallon of drinking water in the room and is replenished as needed. Anywhere in Europe and US, we always have to buy bottled water since some hotels don’t provide. Some do but just 1-2 bottles a day which isn’t enough. The hotel is within the Baseline group of buildings - a mixed development. It is fun to walk around and find an array of restaurants, coffee shops and stores, Most of all, there is a supermarket at the basement of Baseline Premier. The hotel is near hospitals and universities. I met some medical students from University of Bristol who are doing their clinicals at a nearby prestigious medical school in Cebu- just a walking distance. Now, I know where to go the next time I visit Cebu and need to find a hotel within the city.

Das Citadines ist in mehrfacher Hinsicht einfach ideal: intergiert ins Baseline Center findet man in ditekter Unge ung alles was man braucht: Restaurants, Gym, Supermarkt etc. Die Zimmer sind neuwertig und teilweise mit Küchenzeile ausgestattet. Unglaublich ist der Pool im 9. Stock und diverse weitere Dinge die den aufenthalt angenehm machen (Waschmaschinen bspw.). Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist in einem relativ sicheren Viertel, aber wie gesagt, man braucht an sich nicht weg von dort.

Citadines is my first choice in hotels when staying in Cebu. The rooms are very clean, close to robinsons shopping for groceries and full of all needed amenities. Staff is more then helpful and the view from the 9th floor infinity pool is the best in town. Will stay again for sure!

If you’re going to stay in Cebu city this probably one of the nicer place’s available. That being said, the area surrounding the hotel is not very nice which is not the fault of the hotel of course. There’s many bars and food options within walking distance. I would stay again if traveling to Cebu city

The central location service & breakfast at abaca outlet is excellent ! there is a grocery & convenience store in the same building as well as bubble tea & lemonade stand, ice cream and food shops . spacious free parking and lots of good restaurants around the complex. the room is spacious but you need to schedule your housekeeping sevices if you want it more frequest because it is more of a condotel style hote. there is a kitchen complete with microwave, toaster, kettle induction cooker , utensils dining ware and very good wifi

Nice hotel located in a small shopping complex with several restaurants. There is a Robinson store in the basement and a 7-11 in the same complex. Short drive to Ayala mall. Cons: The water pressure in the shower is very low. Some items in the buffet breakfast breakfast are cold, for instance the pre-made fried eggs are always cold. The fruit juices are always warm, you need to add ice cubes to make them cold but that makes them diluted.

This is a highly recommended stay in Cebu City. By FAR the best breakfast buffet around, very high food quality and selection with enough pastries to satisfy any appetite. The hotel is clean, modern, and with welcoming staff. There is a mini shopping center with a convenience store located at the base of the building if you dont intend to travel out or are only staying for a short time.The location is close to the bars on Mango street if you want to drink or see live music.

This was, by far, the best hotel we have stayed in for many years! The breakfast buffet was over the top! I actually view this place as an amazing breakfast with complimentary hotel! The entire place was run very well. I can't say enough about the obvious attention to detail and service here. The room was amazing, staff were amazing, pool was fabulous on the 9th floor - I highly recommend this place as I would stay nowhere else in Cebu - I meant that very sincerely!
