Great place for a few nights before continuing to Moalboal and Bantayan. Pool was nice for the kids, friendly and helpful staff, good large gym. Awesome breakfast and close to a big Mall

Very busy at check- in which despite being pre-paid took 30 minutes to be served. Not enough staff on reception/ Check-in. Facilities are generally good however the pool area was poor, very tired looking needs repainting ng and new surface around the pool also the main feature waterfall was not working I think under renovation. Be aware that this is a convention hotel on our last night a National Lawyers convention started with 4,000 delegates which meant that all the resources were crowded and the staff stretched. For breakfast on the last day the restaurant was so full there where tables spilling into the corridor/ lobby area. I was pleased we were checking out that day

waterfront, like all hotels, likes to host big events. Unfortunately, they allowed prom night to overwhelmed the hotels facilities. The lobby was crowded and loud, the elevators could not accommodate the amount of guests for the event. restaurants were unavailable due to this crowding a hotel should not allow an event to disrupt a high paying customers experience.

The property staff and five restaurants are all immaculate. The gym was far superior to any hotel gym I’ve ever stayed at. It included a full boxing rung and boxing bags. Then there was the Club on site. A younger crowd, but the music and the vibe was really kicking it. Across the street is the IT Business park with moles and shopping and everything else you would ever need. This location and set up was priceless.

Casino is very nice, there are several great restaurants on the main floor, the outdoor pool and walkways are wonderful, and the gym is amazing - it even has a boxing ring. The rooms are standard but nice.

503 very cold even with aircon off. Minibar fridge very noisy (probably needs replaced). Kept waking us up over and over every night of our stay. The pool waterfall is out of service - sad. Older hotel, but still okay; not worth the price, in our opinion. Maid and room service both excellent.

I like the employees, the front desk staffs, the bellmen, the housekeeping, the manger were awesome. The unique of this property are cockroaches, the safety issues with floor carpet that was done poorly, the protruding metal and loose nails that was placed on the edge of the carpet near the door entrance, the fly that almost land on my food when I was eating in lobby lounge. The manager came to me and apologized about my experience and he moved me to deluxe room which was way better.

古い建物ですが、中は豪華です。カジノがあるので、一晩中賑やかですが、客室は静かでした。時たまサイレンの音が聞こえましたが、それほどは気になりません。私の泊まった部屋はとバスルームの扉が完全に閉まらずに故障していました。次回までには直して欲しいと思います。シャワーの水量が少なくて物足りませんでした。

Property lobby is nice. Rooms and decor are dated. Beds, if you only get Superior Room, are not comfortable. Deluxe Rooms have better beds. Bathroom has a sewer smell. I initially thought towels smelled but learned it was the shower curtains smells. Didn\'t look into detail but would not be surprise if it has mildew. Staff around the property, security in front are courteous. Front desk personnel are nice but if this is a 5 star hotel, the "extra" or "going above and beyond" are lacking. But overall, I would say experience is average.

We live in Cebu City Philippines. I'm an American and, as you might expect, my standards are routinely not met by local Philippine establishments. In this case, however, I will say that the Waterfront hotel was on the highest western standard. From service to facilities to food, everything was the highest quality. The room was clean. Every common area was also spotless, which is one of those things you may not notice top of mind, but it affects your perception. Every corner of every small spot had clearly been cleaned that day. I also notice the staff was wearing clothing that was obviously cleaned that previous night or morning. This is not always the way in the Philippines, but Waterfront is an exception in a Third World country. So, if you're an expat or a person visiting from the west, THIS is your go to hotel in Cebu City. I even got a deal on Hotels.com. I should also mention that I've lived in the Philippines in a pretty upscale condo building in IT Park just 5 minutes from the hotel. My condo building had a 36 hour power outage for "maintenance", so my wife, 2 year old son and myself went to the Waterfront hotel. Other than refusing to let my 2 year old into the casino (which was more a joke than anything), it was a perfect stay. Thank you!

I ended up with three different reservations. I was supposed to stay another hotel for two of the reservations, but a transportation issue caused me to change my plans and stay at Waterfront all three nights. The first room we were given had a noise issue. The elevators were nearby and it sounded like they travelling over our room. The next room was good. Waterfront is a good hotel, but there was a constant issue with the internet connection. I stayed at five different hotels during this trip and Waterfront had the worst connection of all of them.

The rooms are so old. No USB ports, not 1. To plug in to charge there is nothing. The plugs fall out so you are left iln darkness to try & work it out. The lights are terrible. There is no central light for the unit. I taped. My plugs in to get charge & signal

Tiny single beds where given in a supposed room upgrade to deluxe, the room we booked had 2 double beds in it and they said sorry it's not available any longer! we booked and paid for room "well in advance" therefore it was Waterfront staff that were to blame for not fulfilling booked room, I am 5 ft 10 inch and close to 190lbs those single beds are for kids! then they ration us to 2 very small bottles of water per day and charge 90p for 500ml per bottle after that!, all in all "Not" happy with our stay.

Very dated hotel. In severe need of updating. Especially the bathrooms. Service was awful. In room phone didn’t work. Asked 3-4 times to get it fixed. One time a guy showed up and said it was broken. Was there six days - never was fixed. Worst part was the WiFi. Very weak.

Mostly it was good. The room was a good size and clean. The breakfast buffet was great. However there are 2 areas where they can do better: 1. The room was super cold, painfully so. Even after we turned the temp up to 30 degrees and waited all night, it made no difference. We turned off the AC and it was still very cold. 2. The internet is really awful. It connects off and on and makes it very slow to even load web pages. I don't mean to sound too negative. All in all, it's still a good place.

I was a little bummed the famous waterfall was broken, but otherwise a ver comfortable stay and right by IT park where there's lots of neat food spots and malls. A major plus. The staff was amazing and kind, would stay again

The front desk staff take a long time to check in and out. Two-quarters of the elevators are out of service, so they take a long time to act. If you drink water, they'll say you used the minibar and charge you. There's no special service. The shower temperature doesn't adjust properly. The rooms are spacious, but the entire facility is old. The front lobby is the only thing that's very clean. It takes 10 minutes to walk from the hotel before you even leave the premises. You'll sweat. You have to go through baggage inspection at every entrance. The breakfast menu changes daily, so it's hit or miss. The casino is easy to get into and has a low exchange rate, so it's good, but there are no special perks for guests. If you do this for three days, your rating won't improve.

Over all it was just a frustrating stay. The hotel was aware towels were missing from the room at check-in. They claimed they would bring them up following our check-in but never did. Also, the phone lines were down and construction was happening on the floor right above us. You just could not be in the room from 8am to 6 pm. I am happy it was only one night and I will never return here.

Staff was not helpful when I was needing to get a ride to the airport. Refused to arrange for transportation. Finally got the security guard to call us a cab after she watched our failed attempts to get a Grab Car for about an hour. Customer service in the restaurants was not good at all, and the food was below average. The room and the property were very nice and clean.

Check in is the worst at Waterfront Cebu City. Stayed few times and every time, check in takes HOURS. Even when its finally my turn, ive pre-paid and have no special requests or anything and my check ins take minimum of 20 minutes just waiting while they are doing everything as old fashioned as possible - million clicks on keyboard, paper docs for everything. Just standing waiting for 20 to 40 mins for nothing but their standard check in process. Staff is great and friendly. But they are victims themselves of a very selfish and cheap hotel management who do everything as cheap and outdated as possible.

空港から300ペソくらいで行けます。見た目とっても豪華な建物で写真映えします！12階に泊まりました。2部屋だったので両サイド見れました。裏側は下にボイラーがありました。12階だと景色がいいのでどちら側でも変わらないと思います。viewはよいです。遠くまで見渡せて写メ撮りたくなる感じです。スタッフがとにかく笑顔で優しくて気配りが出来てます。トイレでも廊下でもフロントも、レストラン、ゲートもみんな挨拶してくれて笑顔でした。プールがまぁ入らなくてもいいかなといった感じ。子供が少し遊ぶくらい。ユニットバスの換気扇が回らなかった。部屋がエアコンの温度を上げても切っても寒かった。テレビがつかなかった。冷蔵庫の中は空です。電気ポット、グラス、パックティーあり。アメニティは使えません。泡立たず、意味なし。トイレシャワー共に水の出はよいです。周りは少し歩くと地元のコンビニがあります。ATMも近くにありました。それ以外大きい通りなのでお店はないです。アヤラモールまで歩いて20分くらいで行けました。タクシーも使いました。安いのです。135ペソくらい。歩くと空気が悪いです。ツアーで朝が早かったので朝食付きプランは持って行くboxに変えてもらえます。チェックインの時や前日など直前にフロントで言うタイプ。Boxはフィリピン、アメリカン、コンチネンタルと選べます。でも、実際のブッフェは種類も多くて比べ物にならないくらいよかったです。ベッドの希望は予約時にXperiaで出来ます。選択肢がある場合のみ。さらに変更したいときはメールではダメでチェックインの時空いてれば出来るようなので口頭でお願いしました。

One of the grand old dames of Cebu. Still among the best. Conveniently located across the Cebu I.T. Park where there is a shopping mall and several restaurants and bars. *** The rooms are a bit dated though and a little renovation would be good.

Property and staff was great. Room was nice and clean and had a wonderful sleep every night. Really nice gym and pool was great. Buffet breakfast was really bad. Food was cold and dried out and the same food was served day after day.

Excellent service from all staff at the hotel starting at check in, had a slight glitch on check in not hotel's fault but they were very accommodating and resolved issue. Restaurant service was excellent, I liked that 24 hour room service was available. Breakfast buffet was a very good deal in my opinion. Could get busy at times if convention was happening but staff was able to keep up. Overall will stay again when in Cebu.

Good as usual, have to check prior because hotel room rate became very high, watch for movement and book accordingly. Best breakfast we have ever had there over the many times we have stayed, well done.

We stayed for 2 weeks and enjoyed the room service. As for the restaurants, wait staff should be more attentive to the customers. When they see our glass needs refilling they should do so and not wait for us to constantly ask to fill it
