Very friendly staff with a delicious breakfast offered every morning. Perfect location to explore Edinburgh yet still a little distance for some quiet.

I liked the amenities and the breakfast buffet. The cleaning staff were quite polite and willing to cater to us be it to replace towels or just get rid of garbage.

The staff were very friendly and most things about the hotel and room were great, but the mattress on my bed was uneven and offered little support. I ended up putting my back out and leaving after one night. In fairness, the hotel refunded me the other two nights I had booked, and I don't know whether it was just an issue in my room, but for anyone who experiences back problems then I would go elsewhere to be on the safe side.
