The pool was disgusting and dirty. The hot tub was unusable. The facility smelled and looked clean, but the whole pool area was awful! The are where the hotel was located was not good. Parking limited. They need to serve breakfast on Saturdays at the same time as during the week, as we had to be at our designated place by 7:00, so we missed it and that was why we chose Holiday Inn Express.

The hot tub was not hot, it was a bit warmer than the pool. The pool was cold (which is fine I guess). I turned on the blower for the hot tub and it didn't seem to change the temp. It's a fine hotel, glad to have the superchargers, which I used. The checkin person in the evening was great.

We came to Salina, KS for a mini-getaway for the family. Wonderful, friendly staff. Cozy & clean room. Quiet atmosphere. Good breakfast buffet. The only drawback was that the hot tub wasn’t working and the pool was almost ice-cold. Overall, it was a nice stay. We’d be back!

Elevators were out and they did not tell us until after we paid. My 70.yr old husband and i had to carry our luggage up the stairs to the 3rd floor. No offer of help either.

The motel was in construction remodelling mode so the pool, fitness room and business room were closed. The seating for the breakfast was surrounded by boxes and bare floors. Our room was fine and there were no construction noises to disturb us. It just wasn't a pleasing atmosphere to walk into. A little heads up would have been nice. I'm glad I didn't choose the motel hoping to use all the amenities.

The hotel rooms were nice enough, but they have a significant fly problem at this hotel- flying all over the lobby at check-in, as well as at breakfast (one landed in my cup of coffee). Not a great experience. The area around the hotel is also populated with numerous vagrants. Not a beautiful part of Salina, that’s for sure.

The manager was nice but we found bugs in our bed. They moved us to another room and that room’s carpet had nuts on the floor. Very disappointing for any price. The manager said she would give us a discount but we will see. Pick another location is my recommendation.

Nice clean establishment, toured the town ,great downtown area with restaurants and coffee shops. May stay there again on our return. Good breakfast...one issue, "too many flies", Need to make arrangements to put out fly traps !!!

This appears to be a relatively new motel. It is very clean. The room is a good size and clean. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The Wi-Fi is adequate. It is conveniently located just off the interstate. The price is reasonable. I don’t know about the breakfast yet, so I can’t comment.

We didn't enjoy our stay. The smell in the lobby and near the elevator area was awful and disgusting.The rooms and bathrooms are outdated. So high humidity in the room, that the beds seemed damp.

Clean room for sure but guest services agent was rude upon checkout. Barely made eye contact and just came across cold and rude. Not sure of name but older, thin, white lady. I’m glad we didn’t have deal with her any other time.

This hotel was under renovation at the time of our stay. It is an older hotel so it is in need of these updates they are doing. I think it will be really nice when they are completed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean and the water was hot. Few minor hiccups...the bathroom sink drained VERY slowly. And the heat seemed liked it took a really long time to heat the room up, but it did work. Breakfast was good. Only complaint was the food wasn't being refilled so the last biscuit was hard as a rock.

Fire alarm went off for an hour during the early morning, but only on the 3rd floor. Entire 3rd floor evacuated, must have been triggered by construction as management (on first floor) was completely unaware of the fire alarm. Fire dept never showed up to clear building or turn off alarm, so third floor had to check out early because the alarm wouldn’t shut off. Breakfast downstairs was terrible- couldn’t eat the eggs, sausage, cinnamon rolls or gravy for the biscuits-tasted awful. Coffee was awful. Not recommended.

Our room was clean and quiet, with plenty of linens and beverages. The shower was perfect. My only issue was the breakfast options - no pancakes available, and the sausage was dry and difficult to cut with my plastic knife. But the coffee was excellent and the omelettes were hot and tasty. Overall, we'd definitely stay here again.
