Clean room. The room had a mildew smell. Other than that the room was good for an over night dtay for 1 night. Elevator was not working so we had to take the stairs to the 3rd floor which was fine but hotel seems like it could use some updates and upgrades. Staff were very pleasant and nice.

This hotel will be great once it’s renovated. For now, though, there were lots of broken pieces. Here’s what didn’t work: the elevator (Our 4 person family was on the 2nd floor), hot tub, & occasionally the bathroom handle. We had to have our keys redone multiple times to get in our room. There was a wing of the hotel that was closed off due to construction. It worked as an overnight stay and the people were very kind. Once it’s updated, it’ll be so great. Right now, it’s definitely a work in progress.

Staff were very pleasant and attentive. Room was super clean. Although we gave a five star, we did want to mention the elevator was not in service both times we stayed this week and we were placed on the 3rd floor. We had to take three trips to our car to bring everything in (including our pet). The hotel did compensate us by not charging the pet fee, which was kind.

The room was clean. The staff was excellent. The pool was cloudy very cold. The hot tub was hot, but had so much chlorine in it We couldn’t breathe. The elevator was out the entire time we were there. We asked when it would be fixed. They said well it’s been out for about three months. For someone that’s in shape and can do the stairs, the hotel is worth a night to sleep and move on the next day, but I wouldn’t stay there with children. The breakfast was excellent.

Man, this property could EASILY be amazing with just a few changes. The hotel is very pretty inside & has a good layout. Unfortunately our stay was not good because the negatives were far more significant than the positives. The room itself was nice & pretty clean. If we would have been able to get the room we actually booked (just a few hours before we got there), it would have been okay. But they didn’t have a room with the beds that we needed so all of us ended up sleeping together in one bed except for one who had to stay somewhere else. The elevator is broken & therefore the disabled person in our party had to struggle to get upstairs. They claimed there were no ground for rooms, but there were maybe 4 or 5 cars in the whole lot when we checked in. We stood there for 30 minutes just to check in even though there were two staff members at the front desk because only one was helping. They sent a text after check-in to see if there was anything we need & then ignored us when we answered. The main issue is there are so many things broken! Hot tub was hot but jets broken, lights in our bathroom didn’t work properly, elevator broken, air conditioner in half of our room didn’t work, shower head didn’t work well, only one TV had a remote and we could not figure out how to work the other one for the kiddos to watch cartoons. Breakfast was good! The pool was not very clean & there were tons of mosquitos. The staff knew of issues & didn’t help or accommodate in any way.

Booked online before arrival at hotel. At checkin, we found out the elevator was not working nor the hot tub. Thankfully she was able to accommodate us on the first floor. We got a room with 2 queen beds. A/C worked great, as well as the hot water & shower pressure. The sink however did not allow much water out of the faucet and was sitting too far back on the sink. Overall very good. Our room did have glitter all over the floor, indicating maybe the floor didn't get cleaned well. Also there was trash behind the recliner. But overall the room was very nice. We would stay there again.

During my recent stay, I encountered several significant issues with the accommodations. Upon arrival, the front check-in attendant was absent, resulting in a prolonged wait for the check-in process. The assigned room lacked the necessary HDMI cables for the television, and the ambient temperature was uncomfortably low due to an open window. The TV was not working. The air conditioner quit in the middle of the night. The bathroom floor had some sticky substance on it. The pool was Closed the whole time we were there. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling, and it appeared to have black mold growing behind the wallpaper. We stayed there 10 years ago, and evidently no upkeep has been done.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately our room had ants that got into some toiletries. Also we weren’t offered maid service, even though we were there for three days, which is ok, but I had to get towels and a roll of t-paper off the cart. Older building. Air conditioner only cooled bedroom, not the living area so in the morning, one person woke up very hot. Toilet wouldn’t flush well. The hotel was good and we had traveled 11 hours to drop our son off a t college and we were able to get into the room a little early so we could crash. The room was clean and there were clean towels. The front staff was great and we had no issues other than the room smelled of mildew

Really bad musty smell in the room. Hits you from the second you walk in and you don’t get used to the smell either… Clean rooms, nice house keeping. Front desk: we asked for a little later checkout as my infant son just got out of the hospital that morning and needed to rest a little longer before our 5 hour drive home and they told me no. I mean I understand rules, but be more polite and understanding of customers.

The hotel and room had what we needed for a good price. We were traveling with our toddler and wanted a separate bedroom. But the air conditioner setup didn’t seem appropriate for cooling both rooms— the front room never cooled off even though the a/c and fan were running the entire time.

This is a great choice. I’m a very light sleeper and this is usually an issue- but even though the hotel was completely booked- I never heard a sound all night. The walls must be really built well. I really enjoyed how convenient the stores and restaurants were near by. The hotel was clean and somehow we had the pool and hot tub to ourselves. The staff was great and so helpful and even joked around with us. There is some great hiking in Salina and a very cute art district worth checking out. I really enjoyed the hotel and Salina. It was a great trip.

The service was not good. 9 out of 10 times there was no one at the front desk. They said they'd clean every 3 days - that did not happen. I had to ask repeatedly for fresh towels & still did not get them. I assume they are short staffed - but this was really bad. the room was good & breakfasts were good, the price was good. But they really need to hire more people.

I cannot say enough good things about Tiffany, Front Desk Associate. Friendly. Professional. Knows her job and gets it done. Immediate solutions for 2 things wrong in the room - TV remote dead/1 TV not working and the fridge would not turn on. 10 stars!! Please make sure her manager gets this review. Thanks.

So checking in we literally had to wait 11 minutes to even get to the desk. Four of us with luggage and 4 people ahead of us with luggage made a crowded lobby. We had already paid in advance, I had my card and ID when I got to the desk and I was still surprised at how long it still took for us to get our room keys when we did get to the desk. The elevator was broken and I recently had ACL replacement so the stairs with luggage were a challenge. The exhaust fan in our bathroom was loud enough to compete with an industrial meat grinder. The mattresses need to be flipped, there was such a dip or wallow in the center two people would roll to the center. The staff was friendly enough, I was just not impressed with so many things. We have stayed at many hotels but not a Country Inn, I think I will pass an the County Inn concept.

They were rude when I showed up acting like I inconvenienced them because she said they were too busy the night before and need extra time. Okay but be kind when saying it. Don’t be rude and tell me to go get lunch or something. The gym equipment was not working. The gentleman doing breakfast service was amazing, social and kind. The other staff should take note.

Staff was extremely helpful! Elevator service was not working- 3rd floor room was the only room left. It was too late to go to another hotel; however, staff greeted us outside as we arrived and let us know about the issue in case we wanted to go somewhere else. It was difficult for us to use the steps- we are seniors, but staff carried up the luggage when I asked.

Clean room! Clean place! And pleasant! Accessible to everything, which is the best! Walmart is 1 minute away! I didn't have any problems! The only thing is that the elevator wasn't working! But that's understandable! Because technical problems will always exist! But they should be quick to fix it for better service! Excellent! The other thing I recommend is putting cameras all around the hotel; that gives more security! I didn't see a camera where I parked my car on the right side of the hotel! It's very important to have cameras around! It's one of the things I always look for in terms of security! After that, no problems with my stay! I enjoyed it! Super good place!! I definitely recommend it! And if I return to Salina, I would stay there!!! All the restaurants are nearby! 😍😍😍 Woohoo!

Conveniently located near the highway. The parking nearby road was bumpy, but the hotel was nice. The room was spacious with a separate sitting area and the bed was comfortable. There was a standard continental breakfast. All of the employees were very nice.

The location is quite convenient. There are lots of eating options nearby and shopping options. It is set back from the busy street which helps create a quiet setting, pleasant for sitting on the outside patio. The property is clean and pleasant, although the room I stayed in had a hole burned through one of the curtains on the window, and small black stains on the shower curtain and on one of the pillowcases. But overall it was good enough.

The room was comfortable and clean upon arrival. I used the gym every morning of my stay, which included various dumbbells with a bench, an eliptical, and a treadmill. Breakfast was good and included various options. Walmart was within walking distance as well as many other stores and places to eat but I would suggest going to the downtown area which is a 10 minutes drive and offered some very nice restaurants for dining. The only negative was the elevator was out of service the entire stay so my 81 year old Mom had difficulty getting up and down the stairs. Also, they only clean the room once every three days which didn't bother me but could be an issue with other travelers.

We love staying here. Staff are always smiling and welcoming. Breakfast has many choices. Air conditioning is cold and room is dark. Both important for me to sleep comfortably.
