The hostel is in a great location right next to the nachmarkt and close to the downtown tourist attractions and close to public transit. The lounge area is great, the bar was a great place to meet other travelers, there's a free walking tour several days of the week, the beds are quite good, the lockers are a nice setup, everything else was quite good. Although the breakfast is not that great.

Good location, supermarket next door. Very clean. Helpful staff and good facilities. Only negative...dorm for 6 females was very small but had curtains to allow privacy. a great feature though was a fan in your individual bed area

The staff were really nice and helpful, and I’m very happy that they offered a free walking tour - it was a great and informative tour that leaves right from the lobby. It was also really convenient that they have a bar and a cafe right there in the hostel!

I like that it's near the city centre area, Vienna through walk/subway. The property is located 100 meters from the Kettenbrukengasse subway station. The local nashcmarket is just opposite the hostel ( how cool!). They have a party scene inside the hostel on the weekends. You can rent electronics on charge or security basis. Each person gets atleast 2 lockers. One big for the Suitcases and one small on bed side for mobile, passport and other valuables with a charger point inside the locker.

一つのベッドに対して、手元の電気、電源タップ、金庫、ロッカーが割り当てられていて便利でした。ベッドの下の段を使いましたが、上の段とのスペースが十分にあって良かったです。トイレは部屋のもの以外に、グラウンドフロアにありました。ラゲージルームが有料のロッカーで、他のホステルではそんなことはなかったのでかなり驚きでした。時間とサイズによって値段が変わります。ゲストキッチンに関しては、冷蔵庫が少ない、他人の食材を勝手に使ったり捨てたりする人がいて治安が悪い、洗いものがされておらず汚れた皿がシンクに溜まっている、鍋の蓋がひとつしかなく皿で代用する必要があるなどかなり不便でした。ホステルの問題というよりは客層の問題なので、その前提で利用することをおすすめします。

Ótima estadia, equipe receptiva, a localização era excelente! A cozinha compartilhada era muito completa e a área de café era muito boa e ampla, o bar do hostel tem sinuca além de outras atividades. Utilizei a lavanderia, os preços são os praticados em qualquer lugar, em torno de 4 euros para lavar e 4 euros para secar, e o sabão em pó estava disponível para uso de todos. O banheiro do quarto era limpo diariamente e a roupa de cama estava limpa. As camas eram antigas, mas o hostel estava passando por reformar e trocas de mobiliário então acredito que em breve essa situação deve mudar.

I stayed in a mixed room and it was okay, any problem. The only thing that i can complain about is the cleanliness of the bathroom. They should leave some cleanning products in the room for the guests for the own cleaning. The rest of the things were really good.

Place is amazingly clean with spotless bathrooms. Probably the nicest hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Obviously not the cheapest, but totally worth it. Only downside is their extreme rigidity and inflexibility. They simply refuse to bend the rules no matter if it costs nothing but is super beneficial

Conveniently located near bus and metro. Common areas are great to hang out in and very clean. My room however, was gross. Bathroom was disgusting. I also found that the pillow case provided was so small that the pillow bunched up making it basically unusable. Disappointing stay after seeing such great reviews.

The room is in desperate need of a TV And The shower needs a shelf to put soap. Other than that, it was adequate. I will not stay there again. The location was great but there was nothing special about it.

Hostel was central and clean. We had a 4 bed room for our family. Would have given a higher review if there was Aircon. The heat in the room was unbearable. Breakfast not good just go to Aldi next door.

We are older than your average Hostellers but we were attracted to the location and price and vibe. It didn't disappoint on these. Our only issue was our room was located next to fire doors with lots of traffic all night banging the doors each time. We did change room to a slightly less noisy end but also next to a set of fire doors. The Bar and Breakfast and coffee and kitchen areas were great as was the staff.

Had a lovely stay in Wombats Vienna as a solo traveller who booked a last-minute getaway. The location was brilliant and easy to get to. There is a metro station right outside the hostel and most of the attractions are within easy walking distance. The private room was comfortable and very clean and I have booked another Wombats hostel for the next leg of my trip because of it. The staff were very helpful and very knowledgable which was good for my first visit to Vienna. In the evenings, the bar was good with some events taking place which made it easier for me to meet other travellers (although they were all a bit younger than me!) My room was on the second floor and was very quiet despite some building work outside. I also did the walking tour which was superb. Charles was very funny and loves Vienna - he gave good advice on what to see and how to get around. I would definitely stay here again!

The property’s location was great for us, very close to Naschmarkt and the tube (U4). Within walking distance to Vienna’s State Opera, Albertina, Kartnergasse etc. The room itself was very basic albeit clean so it’s perfect for short stays. Unfortunately the online checkin was a complete waste of time as I had to fill in the firm upon my arrival anyway. And despite having prepaid for our stay, they attempted to charge me again for the stay upon arrival. I wrote to them and they were apologetic (it seems the frontend colleague was probably still in training ) but that was a big disappointment and left a bad taste. Overall, for short stays, I would still consider staying with them though.

Beautiful hostel. Location is superb. Open markets right across the street to grab fruit or eat a lunch or dinner. I took a taxi to the hostel which cost $36. The subway back to the train station was easy and only $2.40 . Lobby was inviting area where I sat evenings to charge my phone sipping a wine from their nice On site Bar. Room was packed immaculate. Huge breakfast . Bed was comfortable. Own locker. Own safe fan reading light with Shelf. Very very positive experience. Front desk signed me up for a free Good Vienna Tour. Highlight of my stay. I highly recommend given their Hospitality. Thank You. Robert

El hotel / hostal está ubicado frente a un mercadito de souvenirs , restaurantes , comida de todo tipo . Excelente ubicación . Muy cerca de todo , se puede caminar a los puntos de interés turístico . Loved my stay at Wombats! The private room was clean and comfortable. The staff were always nice and helpful. Loved the extra amenities like the Cafe and breakfast bar. It was ideal to just grab food there on days. The location is perfect and near transportation. Would highly recommend others to stay here too
