Love staying in historic B&Bs, and if you are into this too, this Inn should be perfect for you. We booked for two nights in August, along with other friends who also booked rooms. Love the location, and sitting on the front porch swings, late into the night. The only set back for us and our friends in the adjacent room was our beds. Ours was extremely hard where a mattress topper may help, while our friend mattress was too soft and they kept rolling toward the sides. An update in the towels would also be a plus.

Great staff. There's a 24 hour snack bar, small. It doesn't need to be much when saving money; but it is better to have breakfast at a diner. Wonderful staff, though. I'll probably be back.

This was the third time we stayed at the Brickhouse Inn. There were some changes since our last visit. In the past, breakfast had been included with your stay. This time they offer grab and go food that included pastries, cookies, cereals, coffees and teas or you can reserve a seat for a sit down breakfast at an additional price. We just did the grab and go breakfast. Another addition is the offering of multiple tours which can be purchased at the inn rather than having to go into Gettysburg and find them yourself. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. The rooms remind me of "visiting Grandma's house." Staff was attentive and very helpful. The champaign "greet and meet" at 5 was a nice way to meet your neighbors. On the first floor there are areas to sit and chat, board games and a small gift shop. Unfortunately we had a rainy stay, but the backyard has a fire pit, hot tub and some games. Of course the ample porch has rocking chairs to sit and people watch. Location is fantastic. Right in the middle of so many small stores, restaurants and sightseeing opportunities. We love the location because there are so many things to do within walking distance. This will not be our final visit!

The Brickhouse Inn is a lovely place to stay for a visit to Gettysburg. It’s in a great Location and is easy to walk into the town and only a short walk away from East Cemetery Hill and the National Cemetery. It’s comfortable and has character. I would recommend it for visitors to Gettysburg.
