We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite, the Stratford and it was stunning. The 4 of us (all adults) had plenty of room and enjoyed staying together versus 2 separate hotel rooms. The suite was extremely clean and well maintained. We were on the 2nd floor and there is not an elevator. The included breakfast was phenomenal and the service was even better. The hotel is in walking distance to everything. Highly recommend this place!

Front desk staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room and building are very clean. The location is within a very short walk from Niagara Falls State Park, very close to the footbridge to Goat Island. We walked the park trails easily to all major points of interest for viewing the falls and fireworks over the falls. There is a restaurant on site with indoor & outdoor seating and a free full restaurant breakfast. The hotel also provided a complimentary snack in our room’s mini fridge upon arrival. There is free parking in 2 small lots behind the building. Within a 5 minute walk, there are food trucks & small restaurants with a variety of options & outdoor seating, as well as several souvenir shops. Despite its proximity to everything, it is also slightly removed/set aside from the activity & crowds and was pleasantly quiet for sleeping. This is our third time visiting the falls, but our first time at this hotel. It has been by far the best location for accessibility to the falls and service. This hotel is truly perfect for visiting Niagara Falls, NY side: excellent quality, staff, location, & accessibility. We highly recommend it!

My wife and I had a great time at the Red Coach Inn. While the Inn is obviously quite old it appeared to be recently updated but kept the old-style Victorian type of charm. We were right across from the Niagara River. We did not drive our car once during the 3 days we were there. We walked around the park and city on the American side and one day we walked across the rainbow bridge and spent a few hours on the Canadian side. You can ride the local trolly thru the park for only $3.00 per day. We ate two breakfasts and one dinner at the Red Coach Inn Restaurant. All meals were fabulous. It was wonderful to stay in a unique hotel that was fresh and not all worn out. This had much more charm than staying in one of the traditional hotel chains. Keep in mind that there are no elevators. So, if you have a suite on the 3rd floor like we did, you will definitely get your leg exercise in. We will stay there again if we are ever in the area. However, since we live in Sacramento, CA, this will most likely be a once in a lifetime experience for us. This was another reason fo booking the Red Coach Inn. It was a very memorable and pleasant experience!

We loved the Inn, our room, and the restaurant. There was one unpleasant surprise. The room was on the second floor. There is no elevator which was not clear in the room description. Also, there is no service to help carry the luggage upstairs. You are all on your own for that!

Finding front entrance is tricky. Access to our room is through the seating area for the restaurant, a bit uncomfortable dragging bags while people are dining. Room was very comfortable and inviting. No falls view from first floor room, but fewer stairs since there are no elevators.

Room is really nice and location to the falls is perfect. Only thing I would change is it would be nice to have a place the hotel can store bags if you can't check in yet or have to check out before leaving for your flight. Leaving them in the lobby doesn't really feel safe although it worked out.

This hotel is quite unique. It is an older hotel but the room was very clean. They had cheese and crackers with strawberries waiting in the room. You can see the Niagara rapids from the hotel. Breakfast was complimentary.

This place is a gem! Great location, free parking, breakfast included with an additional sweet shop/bakery next door. Had three delicious meals at the restaurant. Staff was friendly, Room was spacious and clean, with a whirlpool tub.. Welcome snack in the fridge was a lovely surprise. Would highly recommend!

I paid so much for the moldy, unclean room. I could see black mold in between the tiles in the bathroom. I had to clean it myself before i got into the shower. The same with the jacuzi, it wasn't clean. The towels felt not completely dried. I was so disappointed. If there isn't first impression, there isn't any comfortable for the whole time stay there.

We loved our room with a fireplace and windows facing the Niagara rapids. We opened the windows just to hear the rushing water. The only bad experience was the jacuzzi tub. After filling it with hot water and bath salt, I turned on the jets and dried mildew/mold came out in big amounts. I ended up emptying the tub, cleaning it and then refilling it. I was determined to enjoy a hot soak. Thank goodness there was enough hot water.

The Westminster room is outstanding. Facing personal parking spot makes it convenient to load and unload belongings. The room have lots of space, sink is separate from toilet/shower. Excellent king size bed and jacuzzi. Complimentary dish of cheese and little Martini bottle makes the reception just perfect. We will definitely come again.

Cute historic hotel in a fantastic location. Our room was spacious and had nice amenities. It could have used more lights and a small table for comfort though. It had a view of the rapids which was lovely. Location was the biggest perk. You could easily walk to Goat Island and all the lookouts on the American Falls side. The restaurant was also convenient; dinner was okay but the breakfast was good. The entire hotel staff was pleasant and very accommodating.

The suite was super spacious and clean (Adelaide). The large bathroom had a great jetted tub and luxurious linens/robes. The beds were super cozy with medium firmness. There was a nice view of Niagara’s rapid waters across the street. Location was perfect for walking the Niagara Park grounds/downtown anytime, and for pick up for falls tour. The classical music playing and snacks in the fridge were a fantastic greeting. Breakfast was included -and you could order anything from the menu- delicious sweet and savory meal items. A pricier stay for us but worth it.

Great location. Convenient to the falls, the trolley and other attractions, and within walking distance of shops, restaurants, street vendors and the casino. Parking is convenient - right behind the inn. The facility was older (late 1800’s?), but nicely restored preserving its history. We chose a two bedroom suite (Cambridge) which was nicely appointed, clean and comfortable. Two very minor issues. First, the kitchen in the suite had cookware, plates and glasses, but no utensils. Second, and less minor, was a concern we raised with desk staff having to do with our booking, and the person we dealt with was rather rude and abrasive and initially not at all helpful. In the end we were able to sort it out to our satisfaction. Two side notes - the evening supervisor was the complete opposite. She couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. Second, eat at the restaurant onsite. The food is excellent!

The staff were great and always greet you with a smile. The building is spectacular and the proximity to the large Niagra Park is across the street. where you can view the falls and walk out onto Goat Island, highly recommended location. On the minus side, I was very surprised that there was no room service! No housekeeping came into clean our bathroom, remove wet towels on the floor, make your bed and vacuum, Guests were basically left to clean for themselves, but there is no toilet scrubber so you cant really scrub the toilet. However, the room was clean when we first got there. You have to fill out a form each morning and drop it off at the front desk listing supplies needed in a check list format. You leave your old linens or towels in a plastic bag out side your door and someone comes and picks them up. Again though, other than the lack of room service, it was a very nice visit. We highly recommend the restaurant on property and a full breakfast comes with the price of the room at no extra charge. Not a buffet, but a wait staff takes orders and brings them to your table. Excellent employee service cant say enough about their hospitality.

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary. I loved the style and atmosphere, but what really made this stay so wonderful was the staff at the Red Coach Inn. Every single person on the staff was incredibly helpful, courteous, and accommodating. The restaurant was fantastic and again, the staff was amazing. We had to check out at 4am for an early flight home and they made sure we didn’t leave without taking bagels and fruit for the road. I highly recommend staying here!

The Red Coach Inn is located at the perfect spot, especially for those who do not mind walking. All the viewing sites and attractions are in easy walking distance. One can walk to the Canadian side via the Rainbow Bridge in less than 30 minutes. If you get an all day pass on the “WeGo” bus system on the Canada side you can easily visit all the sites on that side. The Inn itself is an older boutique style place, so you won’t get all the glitz of newer places…but it is quiet and away from the rat race centered in the towering hotel area. The people are friendly and helpful and the chief cooked breakfast that came with the room was wonderful. We had a wonderful time.

The rooms are fantastic! Very cool, old building just a short walk to the falls. The restaurant left a lot to be desired though! Only 2 of 7 of us enjoyed their meals on the first night dinner. My crab cakes were cold and seemed like they were cooked an hour before being served and were no different than salmon patties I could make at home. One guests steak was horribly undercooked and the list goes on. Service was terrible as well. Breakfast was much better, but both times the potatoes were cold. At least breakfast is free. If in the area again, we would stay here but would not eat here.

This is a historic property, purposely made to feel and older than its 100 year history, and the decor certainly do justice. Unfortunately the food doesn’t. Breakfast (complementary breakfast with Suite) pancake looked like it’s straight out of a frozen box, minimally heated, the egg was horribly over cheesed on an otherwise tasteless omelette base and French toast was without the whipped cream (they ran out of it) and all in all utterly tasteless. Day 1 dinner - loved our shrimp fry (starters) otherwise the chicken Parmesan pasta and the mahi mahi (fish) entree left much to be desired. The vodka Mule cocktail tasted like blue Gatorade with a few drops of vodka in it. I would’ve just preferred blue Gatorade instead. All in all we were left quite underwhelmed with the food choices however, it’s probably just a baseline for the food scene in Niagara Falls on the USA side. Nothing really to talk about and subpar overall quality almost everywhere. Room service - NONEXISTENT ( I asked for a bottle of water at 10 PM last night and was told to come down and get it from the bar!!). They charge a $51 “service fee” for “house staff” who per protocol do NOT even show up for cleaning (in a suit!) but the hotel demands the “service fee”. The location was great...within 400 yards of the falls. The staff, especially Amy at he front desk, was terrific. The food, while pricey, was average at best.

The location was great! We could walk into town or down to the observation deck for the fireworks, and there was food literally everywhere! The hotel was beautiful, though the bed was too firm for us. The attached restaurant was pretty disappointing. The breakfast was ok, but the dinner was gross; lukewarm and bland. My husband felt yucky for hours afterward. We do recommend the SeeSight Tour and the Stone Steak and Sushi restaurant.

What an amazing property! Named after the red coach that brought the Marquis de Lafayette to Niagara Falls, it is more recently famous for "Jim and Pam's honeymoon" from The Office. Our room was elegant and cozy. The jacuzzi bathtub was especially appreciated after a long drive. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, and both were delicious. We could even see the rapids and the fireworks display over the Falls from our window. Will definitely stay at The Red Coach Inn again.

The room was spotless, staff extremely helpful and eager to assist. The mini fridge had a variety of coffee creamer, complimentary water, a small bottle of champagne and a cheese and fruit tray. The bed was very comfortable, slept soundly. Wish I could give them more than just 5 stars!

Delightful, classic hotel. Well maintained, clean, comfortable, great beds. The choice of room is important: we were in the Windsor room, on the first floor of the southern-most building, facing the rapids. From our window, we could see a bit of the rapids across the street. We could certainly HEAR them: we left the window open, and the sound of rushing water sent us to sleep. (It was an unusually quiet August, the staff told us, so I don't know whether traffic noise is ever an issue. It sure wasn't for us.) The restaurant staff was delightful. Kim the bartender gives a strong handshake, a strong comedy game, and a stronger martini. My advice: stay here, but check with the hotel before booking about the location of the room. Those rapids are spectacular. Being able to drift off to sleep while listening to them is a real treat. And perhaps the rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors offer even better views.

Location of hotel is EXCELLENT! All meals eaten there were very good. The complimentary breakfast was especially good! Clean and spacious room. Will book again if back in the area.
