During the entire stay we did not have a room key Every time we entered the room a staff member had to unlock the door. The staff were very nice but it became onerous. We were told it was due to a software problem. We were concerned about the security of the door lock system.

It was difficult to find the small “front desk” or even the right door to enter from the sidewalk. There is no signage or information. The rooftop pool is tiny with no food service and only 3 chaise lounges. The room was adequate, the location was great and easy walking distance to many shops and restaurants.

Everyone was nice and helpful. Ms Betty in housekeeping, Sophia and Luis at the front reception, made the stay enjoyable. Unfortunately, a towel blew onto a transformer and we had a blackout during our final night due to a heavy wind and rain storm. Couldn’t fully partake in the amenities like shower with hot water, dip in the pool, watch tv, or charge our phones. It felt like we were camping out in the woods. The staff worked to keep us happy by charging our phones at the restaurant across the street, providing ice for medications that required refrigeration. Love the location and dining options. Prime 112 was fantastic. I will definitely stay here again in spite of the series of unfortunate incidents.

Loved this boutique hotel, around all the high end restaurants. Across the street from the beach. Nice and quiet no children, only thing was the pool on the roof was a little warm to try and cool off. Will definitely stay again next time in Miami.

Beautiful hotel in the perfect area. Right on ocean acenue, but far enough away from the center to avoid the crazy crowds. I was able to walk everywhere I needed to go. The beach is a 2 minute walk, perfect for a sunrise on the beach. They have complimentary fruit infused water and coffee in the lobby and the rooftop is perfect for a chill pool day. I believe the listing says laundry services are available but they're not (no biggie there's a laundromat a few blocks away but good to know). Overall enjoyed my stay very much.

The property itself is a great quiet location. The place is small. The bar in the lobby had no bartender during the three nights we stayed. You barely saw any staff in order to ask questions. All they had was the person at the desk in the lobby. The pool is not a pool. It is more like a 12 person jacuzzi that they say it’s not open 24hours even though the signs in the room and the pool states that it is. The site has no parking so you either pay $40.85 a day in parking meters on the street or pay $38 dollars a day for valet. The hotel valet leaves at 12 a.m. so if you arrive after that the car has to be taken across the way and then you walk over. The best thing about the place is how close to the beach it is but there are definitely some other locations that can provide more for the money.

It was ok, wouldn't stay here again, the Hotel is definitely an afterthought for the restaurant. No parking, valet is $50. and hard to find. The shower has all these heads but none of them worked.

This was by far one of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed at. The room, the balcony, the elevator, everything was clean. Every single staff member was friendly and the housekeepers are definitely one of a kind. It was our first time in Miami and Prime Hotel made it worth it. On a great strip we walked EVERYWHERE including the beach literally a 1 minute walk. Wonderful hotel….Thank you

Located near South Point, the hotel is in a great location at the corner of Ocean Ave and 1st. The room is good size for the area and the price was reasonable. There are a lot of great restaurants within walking distance and the beach is a block away. The front desk was very accommodating and provided beach towels when we headed over in the morning. My only complaints are with the functionality of the room. There was a lack of storage; no dresser, only a few small shelves in the closet. There was a single desk chair in the room; no other place to sit than the bed. The bathroom, though good size, had no shelfing for toiletries and the towel rack was on installed on the other side of the sink, which meant you had to exit the shower and walk around the sink to get to the towel even though the shower was huge with plenty of space for a towel rack or a shelf. Overall we enjoyed our stay there and will keep in mind for future visits to South Beach.

Amazing location. The shower is divided by glass from the room (somewhat glazed), which makes it far less private to use the bathroom. Excellent service and reception though. The blonde lady was very helpful and professional.

This was a perfect location to stay in South Beach. 5 min walk north to the strip, or east to the beach. Probably 50 restaurants in a 20 minute area. Just far enough away from the action to ensure quiet. There was a Starbucks 1 block away and a grocery 2 blocks. The hotel itself was small, only 12 rooms, so there was no wait for service. The room had everything needed and a large balcony (king suite). There was a rainfall shower and satelite tv. Room was clean and proper. Pool on the roof was awesome. It was heated and a perfect chill spot for after the beach. We were super happy with the choice to stay here.

There was no privacy while in the bathroom. The person using the bathroom could be seen by the person in the bedroom due to the window wall that separated the rooms. I wasn’t pleased with that. The bathroom sink was slow to drain and the show stall had an odd smell when showering. The television was not high definition.

Very quaint 4 story building conveniently located right in south beach. The room is clean and comfortable. With the corner suite getting lots of sunlight. Very much like a studio apartment and includes a fridge, microwave and safe. Not much closet space and the shower wasn’t fully operational but still did the job. Keep in mind when checking in, there’s no traditional lobby as the “front desk” is literally in the restaurant. The roof top is a nice place to chill.

Pretty much everything was fine. A minor issue was that we couldn’t hear the TV. A major safety issue was the super slick shower floor. I honestly would believe it would be easy for someone to fall and break a bone or neck. We had to put a towel down so my husband felt safe enough to shower.

Room was great with a wraparound balcony on Ocean Drive. Enjoyed the roof top pool and lounge area. We were lucky enough to have the space to ourselves. The infused water provided was delicious and refreshing! Cookies were also a nice treat. I enjoy small boutique hotels and would definitely stay again.

We had a corner balcony unit, so it was very nice and had a great view. The room had a very nice bed and good storage space. There was some visible wear and tear on the ceiling, walls, and details in the room but nothing terrible. Shower water pressure was a bit low, but a nice bathroom overall. Be aware that this hotel is over a restaurant and does not have a proper lobby. Staff were all great. Had a good time here!

Checking in was a fiasco. Despite stopping by in the morning to remind that I requested the top floor, when we arrived an hour before check in time with our baggage, a different employee said top floor “not available”. Same desk clerk caused us a stressful 20mins. by insisting he couldn’t give room key without seeing my drivers license. My husband’s, with the same surname, would not suffice. So despite having taken my Amex which had paid reservation, I had to open my suitcase right there (in middle of restaurant) to search for my license. Ridiculous harassment! Use common sense when you see an 80 year old couple with a paid reservation! The room was nice and stylish enough, but the bathroom also lacked common sense. Besides terrible idea of all black decor…the mirror above sink was useless for anyone under 5’5”. The one and only robe hook was 6’ high on door and there were no other robe hooks. Also the shower floor was made of slippery smooth black tile. And not even a soap dish to hang on to if you slipped. Dangerous accident waiting to happen. Aside from that, the rest of staff was pleasant and helpful. The room maids did a fine job and, in rush to check out, I feel really bad that I forgot to leave a tip. We enjoyed morning coffee on the little balcony. This “hotel” above a restaurant, only has about 14 rooms, so the elevator was always available and the pool area on roof felt almost private.

We arrived at 0500AM and asked to be checked in as soon as a room was ready. We waited upstairs by the pool. I continued to check downstairs and found that they were checking in other people into rooms but not us. We were on Floor 2, Room 4. I was unclear why they would not check us into any available room. I asked but did not receive an understandable answer. They said the room assigned to us was very messy whereas the others did not require as much cleaning time. We did not check in until 3PM. The room was nice although the bathroom lights were dim. I did go downstairs and ask for an extra bottle of water; just a plastic bottle; and he told me it would be $8. We all know that the bottle of water is purchased in cases and costs less than $1. It should have been complementary considering the price of the room. I stated in a low cost hotel elsewhere and the water was free. The pool upstairs was nice. I would have like to draw the curtains on the cabanas because it was sunny and windy. Overall, I would stay again.

Let’s say it loud and clear because it’s necessary, and it seems i am not the only one that experienced this by looking over internet comments The staff is just the worst i have ever experienced by travelling almost 6 times a month. Not a smile, not a hello, never repliying a polite hello, hi or any normal and polite sentence From the unexpected 450$ deposit, to the breakfast room, all staff were just changing the whole vibe. I cant believe its a management strategy I will also dig into my statements to check if i dont have any bad surprise after check out, like beverages or alcool taken from the room that i never touched Seriously guys : get yourself a smile, its free Management haves to fire a lot of people here Lets now hope they didnt took me money without my consent. Located near South Point, the hotel is in a great location at the corner of Ocean Ave and 1st. The room is good size for the area and the price was reasonable. There are a lot of great restaurants within walking distance and the beach is a block away. The front desk was very accommodating and provided beach towels when we headed over in the morning. My only complaints are with the functionality of the room. There was a lack of storage; no dresser, only a few small shelves in the closet. There was a single desk chair in the room; no other place to sit than the bed. The bathroom, though good size, had no shelfing for toiletries and the towel rack was on installed on the other side of the sink, which meant you had to exit the shower and walk around the sink to get to the towel even though the shower was huge with plenty of space for a towel rack or a shelf. Overall we enjoyed our stay there and will keep in mind for future visits to South Beach.

There was a very strong sewer smell that took over the whole room whenever the water was running in the shower. Also, it was advertised as oceanfront, and it is on Ocean Dr., but not on the ocean side. It’s a block away, but we thought we would be able to walk out of the hotel onto the beach. Other than that, it’s a fairly nice boutique hotel.

Wonderfully surprised by this property! Just wanted a night to stay before a cruise. This hotel had great rates and was so close to everything! Easy walk to beach and restaurants! Clean, safe, great large room! Easy Uber to the cruise ship. Will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful hotel in the perfect area. Right on ocean acenue, but far enough away from the center to avoid the crazy crowds. I was able to walk everywhere I needed to go. The beach is a 2 minute walk, perfect for a sunrise on the beach. They have complimentary fruit infused water and coffee in the lobby and the rooftop is perfect for a chill pool day. I believe the listing says laundry services are available but they're not (no biggie there's a laundromat a few blocks away but good to know). Overall enjoyed my stay very much.

The room is spacious with a lot of shelving. The bathroom is an odd design with frosted wall, but not a downside. Just odd. The pool area was quiet with a cool breeze. The pool was solar heated and maybe 110 degrees; like bath water. Would be a good pool for kids. The room smelled a bit funny and I think it came from the fan. If we turned it off, and it was better. And honestly you got used to it in a few minutes. Would highly recommend for the price, location, pool, and balcony. Super nice people too.

Very nice young gentleman at the desk. Felt very unsafe as a single during my week there, since all of the area had a lot of problems with Spring Break. Didn't go to the beach or walk. It's a great place to stay as a room if you need or want to be in the area. Disappointed that if you stay here you don't get any special advantage at restaurant but rather less that those who come in off the street.

Very accommodating Andrew is the best! Restaurant needs to be more consistent with scallops but once the sea bass dish was actually cooked that was delicious and my birthday favorite red velvet cheesecake (cake) was one of the best I’ve had. I Wish they could have matched the Expedia price this is definitely the type of hotel I would book directly

My room was beautiful, comfortable, and quiet. The location is very walkable including the beach and walkway. The restaurant was very good, beautiful outdoor dining. My waitress (name??) was outstanding. I'll be back my next visit.

The hotel is right on Ocean Drive, many eating places nearby. They themselves have 3 high-class restaurants. A small reception, the access to the rooms is quite narrow, passing through their dining area, a passage between bar and kitchen. The check-in was smooth and the room was comfortable. I had ordered for food from a restaurant via Uber Eats and I called the front desk to send some cutlery to the room; but the person managing the phone said they cannot give plates, but only a plastic box and plastic cutlery. I found it quite strange, considering I was a resident, paying guest. In between my stay, some guy entered my room around 8:30 AM, while I was still lying in bed. As my back was towards the door, and the door is not visible from the other side of the room; I loudly asked who it was; and he just apologized and exited. I don't think housekeeping start their work that early in the day, and I didn't see any male staff amongst the housekeeping people. I'm unsure who he was, though must be on their staff, and how he gained access to my room when the room was locked from inside (I always make sure I rotate the extra lock nob before I sleep). I didn't flag it to anyone as I wasn't too worried about it. Overall, it's a decent place, good location, good rooms.

I’m so glad I booked here! Near the beach, nice location a 10 min walk from the south beach area.. which isn’t bad. Roof top pool, nice steak house attached to the building on the side. Had no problems what so ever!!

The pool is on the roof, small but open 24hrs. Hotel is extremely walkable to all kinds of places. The entrance is hard to find because it looks like you are walking into a restaurant so we had to ask. The room was unique and comfy. Loved our windows we could open up to see the palm tree views. The shower and bathroom were nice. We were there for my birthday and they put out fresh cookies, which were amazing!! And a hand written card. Loved the attention to detail. Would definitely stay again.
