Quiet traditional and cosy pension, fabulously placed 2 minutes from the opera house. Helpful staff. Room very comfortable, clean and warm. Good shower/wifi and there’s a lift for upper floors. Its not a modern hotel with loads of extra facilities but I don’t want /need that. They look after cases after check out and provide tea/coffee in the room.

While very unassuming from the outside, this hotel is a little gem right in the centre of all the activities. Very close to the opera, the metro and shopping and restaurants. Staff are very friendly and they keep the rooms very clean. There are some stairs to navigate and the elevator is a bit slow and small, but loved the hotel.

Fantastic location right in front of opera house. Great management. Good breakfast. The apartment was tight, and we were kind of tripping on each other. Elevator and some other amenities were a little rickety but overall ok. Loved having the extra kitchen room.

I had a double room with kitchenette and balcony. It was spacious, quiet, clean and right by the opera house. I was visiting for music so perfectly placed in the centre of town. It’s an old fashioned pension which I love - not for those who want a modern hotel room which could be anywhere. There was maid service daily - the staff were charming, coffee and tea stocked up daily and the small kitchen was well equipped. Shower was hot and worked well. Central heating was toasty (I was visiting in winter). A small lift also so no need to haul luggage up stairs. This is not a hotel with lots of facilities but I didn’t need that type of accommodation.

La struttura si trova in una posizione strategica, molto vicina alla metro e al corso principale. Si sviluppa su un piano di un condominio. Ci sono molti locali nella zona. Servizio cordiale, parlano tutti in inglese. Solo un signore alla reception mixava inglese e tedesco. La camera era in stile settecentesco, molto pulita anche se con la moquette. Nel complesso era molto carina. Bagno nuovo, l’unica pecca è stata la rottura della caldaia, per cui abbiamo dovuto attendere l’intervento del tecnico prima di farci una bella doccia calda. The property is located in the middle of Vienna about 2 or 3 minutes walk to Karlplatz ring road and the trams. And about 2 minutes walk to Kartner street which is the shopping mall which runs through to St Stephens Cathedral. Needless to say it’s beautiful. The property is quiet after midnight ( this is when it is needed) until 10am in the morning. Phew. After which the buzz of diners and cars down the street is heard. The city is alive. Everything is walkable from Suzanne, museums, operas, art galleries. It’s worth taking tge subway to Copa Beach, for a quiet morning ice latte and sitting near the river. The red line on the subway. Buying a 3 day pass is relatively cheap way to travel. We did the two day pass and it worked a charm. Don’t forget to validate it as soon as you want to travel, because it starts to countdown after you validate it. And it works on trams & the subway. We had a very enjoyable 3 nights at Suzanne. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. No fridge for you water or breakfast food. Our room had a portable air conditioner. Nice. Need it on hot days.

This is an older hotel and building, and the entryway and corridors to the rooms have a municipal feel to them (until you walk through the interior doors to the small hallways leading to the actual rooms). However, the room was large and clean, well-furnished, and the beds very comfortable. The staff could not have been more friendly. The location simply cannot be beaten. Directly within Vienna's Old City, exactly where tourists like we were would want to be. Nice, locking room for luggage storage if needed also. I would absolutely stay at Pension Suzanne again (and hope to: loved Vienna).

Location, location, location. This hotel is a convenient walk to several major sites in the city. The Hop On bus is right out the door and the taxi stand is right around the corner. We had a wonderful stay at the Pension Suzanne! The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the rooms were cleaned to perfection everyday. The location was right in the middle of Inner Stadt and a few minutes away from major sites like the Opera, Stephansplatz, and Hopsburg Palace. Our room was a tad on the small side and could use a little updating but that's to be expected in a major city like Vienna. We had a wonderful stay and can't wait to be back again!

The bathrooms have high-walled tubs, not showers. It was treacherous getting in and out as they did not provide bath mats. There was also a small ledge from the doorway area to the sink that was unmarked and difficult to see which tripped me up a couple of times. The radiator could not be adjusted and was way too hot, leaving me to open a window in December. The mattress was as hard as a futon and the pillow was flat. The staff were friendly, the place was clean, and the location central.

At first, I thought the hotel was a little sketchy. It has a very small elevator, which you have to take up one floor to reach the reception desk. The "Reception" is just a small office that seems pretty outdated. But the place really grew on me after a couple days. The room was very nice, the beds very comfortable, and it was very quiet despite being in a busy part of the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Best of all, the location is outstanding, a block from a tram and subway stop and easy walking distance to the museums, St. Stephens Cathedral, and other sights in the old town.

The location and the extremely helpful staff make this property. It's close to the opera house and the City Bike rental stand there, and walking distance to everything in the Inner City. Our bedroom was comfortable and quaint. Everything was clean. Some reviews mentioned the small shower; I'm a larger guy and ours was more than adequate. The only downside was there was no air conditioning (that I could find) in the room even though it was listed. I can imagine it getting warm in the latter summer. For the price, we couldn't beat the location and staff.
