Grand Beach Hotel Surfside

Air conditioning did not work when we arrived but the concierge had it fixed by that evening. Housekeeping was very slow and it took 10 hours to and 3 calls to get more towels. A beautiful hotel and location but service was not their first priority.

The rooms are not sound proof or even sound muffling. A wedding party was on my floor and they partied until 3am and it sounded like they were in my room. I addressed this with the check in staff in the morning and the woman could not tell me hotel policy on noise or if their was a cut off time for room parties. I was in town for an important meeting and was exhausted. I also was not offered any apology. Instead I felt like I was the one at fault for complaining.

Overall great.

Great location and the hotel is beautiful. My sole complaint would be that my wife and I sat next to 2 different pools and at the beach loungers for 2 days and not once was approached for bar/ food service by an attendant. Otherwise it was a great stay!

I had my room cleaned once in a week even after asking countless times at the front desk. in the end I gave up and just got fresh towels.
