Really good room, convenient, parking at 19.95 eur per day. The price reflects it, there is no air con, which is ok for about 340 days per year. That said I would stay there again.

POSITIVE : the location was good because we had a car, including the secure parking garage. The hotel email telling us the address of the car park wait area was good to receive, BUT to not mention the massive amount of road works getting to it was a major problem. The road works was due to Kermis which I’m sure every citizen knows about. The hotel should have told us to make sure our GPS was able to pick up road works, or at least told us to avoid inner city streets. Instead of 10 minutes till arrival when we hit the road works, it was an hour and lots more kilometres and frustration! Each detour brought us to another one and another one etc etc! The room was small but okay for 1 night. The shower pressure was pathetic, which I guess was okay for the cleaner because with the lack of shower curtain, water would have been all over the floor. Not good! Bed was comfy enough, but slightly hard. Good to have large windows to see outside (high rise building view). Hotel itself is in need of an update for the price they charge for both the tiny room and high car park cost.

The Tulip Inn is a very well appointed property with a range of facilities. The staff are welcoming and most amenable. The restaurant provides a fine range of cuisine. This property is conveniently placed for all the amenities of Leiden. It is situated directly opposite the bus and rail stations providing links to the local area as well as all other areas of the Netherlands and beyond. Thoroughly recommended.

We had a pleasant stay at the Golden Tulip. Leiden is beautiful. The hotel was quite pricey and a short 10 min walk from the main restaurant area. The hotel bar was pretty expensive we had two beers for €21 which is ridiculous!! The room was really spacious with lots of natural light and a huge bathroom. The room was really warm and no fans were provided. Luckily we brought our own as travelling with a car. Overall, a great stay but would probably find a cheaper alternative next time.

The Golden Tulip ( Tulip Inn) is in a very convenient location. It was only a block from the train station. It had a full service restaurant for dinner on its property. The location was walkable to the center of town and its museums.

De locatie is prima, vlak bij het station en het centrum. Verder niet bijzonder sfeervol of hartelijk. Donkere gangen, muffig tapijt, ontbijt met liftmuziek, standaard hotelsfeer. Sportfaciliteiten bevinden zich niet in het hotel zelf. Praktisch maar niet inspirerend.

Hotel tegenover het station. Dat is prettig. Ontbijt is goed. Maar de hygiene in de kamer was onder de maat. Er hingen haren aan de tegels in de badkamer, er zat roest/vuil in de randen van de douche. De matrassen waren heel erg zacht, je zakte erin weg. Zacht, of oud en teveel beslapen?

This hotel was quite expensive for the awful condition that it is in. The rooms were old and shabby and the bathroom stank of sewage. I asked to have my room changed because the TV did not work. The second room was just as bad. But stank even worse.

Our 8 day trip could not have been better. The hotel was clean and the staff were kind and very accommodating. The room was quiet and cleaned daily. I loved the espresso machine in the room. The location is excellent for walking or biking around Leiden. Central Station is literally across the street and on the other side of the block is De Valk Windmill. Really loved our stay here and will be back next time for sure. Thank you for making our first trip to Leiden such a success!

comfortable bed and nice enough room in a very convenient location directly across from the train station. Only complaint is the soap shelf in the shower had a used (with lots of hair wrapped around) hair tie still sitting on it.

The room was stuffy and there was no air conditioning. The shower was very disappointing - the water that came out of the shower-head more like a dribble! The pillows were lumpy and not very comfortable. Sadly we didn’t spend a very good night at the Tulip Inn.

Die Betten waren Katastrophal ungemütlich und haben sich bei den Doppelbetten die ganze Zeit auseinander geschoben. Die Fenster haben eigentlich keine Geräusche gedämmt und Nachts an der Straßenseite war es unglaublich laut, gerade weil der Tunnel direkt am Hotel anscheinend sehr beliebt ist bei Rasern mit lautem Auspuff. Das Frühstück war mehr als simpel und die Qualität des Essens und die Zubereitung lässt zu wünschen übrig. Am dritten und vierten Tag haben wir dann das schon bezahlte Frühstück geskipped und haben in einem Cafe in der Nähe gefrühstückt.

La habitación es básica pero funcional y limpia. Baño amplio, aunque un poco raro que la ducha no tenga mampara, no es mayor problema. La cama es cómoda, pero depende del gusto, yo prefiero una cama más firme. Disponibilidad de cafetera y cápsulas; también té. Lo único que se echa en falta es botellas de agua, se pueden comprar en recepción. Recepción muy eficiente.

Wir haben ein schmutzigen Bad bekommen, und als wir den personal kontaktiert haben, statt sich zu entschuldigen wurden sie sehr unangenehm. Müssten ca. eine Stunde auf ein sauberes Zimmer warten. Check in war 15 Uhr und erst 16 Uhr haben wir ein Zimmer bekommen. Nirgendwo habe ich so unkompetenten,unfreundlichen Empfang gehabt. Nie wieder

All the staff are fantastic . Big shoutout to Dave the barman and is of menu cocktails Definitely be back. Leiden a fabulous city and 30 minutes to the major cities. use the NS train app. Easy to use and you do not have to use the booked train time.

Hôtel très bien situé que ce soit pour se balader dans la ville rayonner en train ou en voiture. On vous donne un petit plan à l’accueil avec les balades dans la ville à faire. Le parking est pratique, payant évidemment comme partout ici. Propre bon un peu de poussière sous les lits mais franchement rien de dramatique. Personnel très souriant et disponible. Suppléments chiens pour nos deux teckels mais un petit cadeau de bienvenue. Je vous recommande à 100%

Wonderfully located hotel about 500 yards from the rail station so we took the train on our visits to Amsterdam for only 21 euros round trip. Excellent breakfast and dining room above average. Close to town historical center in the very lovely town of Leiden.

Great location near the train station. Not fancy but all that was needed for the night. Easy to walk around the city from this location. We ate at the restaurant and it was very good. They had a new menu and we enjoyed the vegetarian Wellington, gamba and chicken.

We really enjoyed our 5 night stay here. The location suited us perfectly as it was close to the train station as well as being really close to the old centre. Breakfast each morning was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were modern and clean. We didn't think there were enough lights (rooms a bit dark), but that was a minor. We would definitely stay there again.
