The hotel was very central- it was excellent for walking into Leiden. There was no communal lounge facilities which was disappointing. The swimming pool had very limited opening hours from 8-9.30am. It was geared towards paying for the Wellness suite. This was a shame as it would have been enjoyable using it more often.

I booked this for a family trip to Dutch GP and Leiden being recommended as a lovely city and convenient for getting to Zandvoort but allowing a quick get away at end. Booked hotel because of pool, sauna and wellness area. However, it was only on arrival that it was explained that outside of 08.00 to 9.30 wellness area is aux natural. That is fine but if this had been clearly stated on hotel description i would have saved money and gone elsewhere. Paid for facilities that as a family we couldn't use. Feel really disappointed, especially as room and bed was actually great.

The spa is not included, the pool is only open to guests from 8am to 930am, and the SPA is nude, its not 100% clear when you are looking. Bathing suites are not allowed.

Most important to know if you want to use the pool/spa: you are REQUIRED to be nude. Except for 8AM-9:30AM, you are not allowed to wear a bathing suit, and also have to pay an additional daily 32 Euro fee. The fee is in the fine print on Expedia, but the "nude" part was not. Fine if you know in advance, but an unfortunate surprise if you're with kiddos whose culture is not accustomed. Other than that, on the ground floor signage was almost invisible and it looked barren and abandoned at 7pm. The door to street was broken and propped open with plywood. It took us wandering into the elevator to comprehend that reception was on the 12th floor. The room was comfortable but had stains on the carpet and window sill. Views over the city were nice, and it's quiet. Very business-y. No charm, but it's not made for that. It's a minute from the train station, but you have to walk all the way around the station to get to the main part of the city. Overall, not bad but don't let the nice pic of the spa lure you unaware.

Nix besonders. Preis/Leistung stimmt nicht. Für 4 Sterne extrem überteuert. Hinzu die sehr hohen Parkgebühren jon Euro 17,50 pro Tag. Pool nur kostenfrei von 8.00 Uhr bis 9.30 Uhr. Schlechter Service für Hotelgäste!

Liften zijn een drama. Niet handig als je in het hotel zit en je moet maar de parkeergarage, iedereen gebruikt dezelfde lift, saunagasten, kantoorpersoneel. Ook moet je dwars door het hotel om op de 11e verdieping te komen, minder fijn als die gasten tegen de 80 jaar lopen...

Goed is dat het pas naast het treinstation staat. We hadden het geboekt omdat we de volgende dag naar Schiphol moesten. Wellness is goed. Minder waren wij te spreken over het gebeuren na het inchecken, want pas bij de derde kamer konden wij deze betreden. Bij de 2 eerder aangeboden kamers werkten onze deurpassen niet. We waren uiteindelijk een kleine 3 kwartier verder voordat wij onze kamer hadden. Dit mede door de drukte bij de receptie. Blijkbaar was een van de vorige gasten van kamer 1053 een roker, want er zat een sok om de rookmelder aan het plafond. We hadden 2 handdoeken tot onze beschikking, waarvan er in één gaten zaten en de ander was niet schoon uit de wasmachine/-wasdroger gekomen. En als laatste opmerking; de koffiemachine in kamer 1053 moet volgens ons ontkalkt worden, want koffie kwam niet in het bekertje terecht maar naast de geplaatse beker. We hebben/hadden foto's gemaakt als bewijs en alles aan de receptie doorgegeven.

Nothing went well at my visit to the Fletcher Hotel except the pool (only 8-9:30 free access for guest) The room wasn’t clean properly, still rubbish from the previous guest in the bin. The soap dispenser in the shower was removed, I have to ask for some soap to shower. The fridge disconnects when you leave the room since you need to take the card with you, I thought fridges were supposed to be in ALL the time otherwise food will go bad, I asked for an extra card to leave it on, guess what the cleaner person removed so when I came back the fridge was off, a potential food poisoning opportunity. The phone in the room didn’t work so every time I have to walk to reception to complaint and ask for things. Some of the girls at reception were not useful at all. I emailed the Fletcher hotel and chain, still waiting for a response. I think I should be entitled a refund

Our stay was adequate. The set up is a bit bizarre. The hotel is on a few floors of a business building and not terribly secure imo. There’s no lobby per se, only a reception area on the 12th floor. The room was large and the bed was comfortable, though not terribly clean (e.g., coffee stains down the wall, dingy towels that were small and didn’t smell fresh). The toilet was right next to the bed and there was only one door for the toilet and shower, meaning only one could have a door closed at a time (read: limited privacy). The room was freezing and the thermostat was meaningless—I was given a space heater to warm it (was 60 degrees in the room at one point). The breakfast was excellent as was the location—just steps from Leiden train station.

Bij inchecken geen vriendelijkheid van personeel. Kon geen, ‘goedemiddag meneer. Fijn dat jullie er zijn’ van af. Matras erg zacht en kussen slecht wat het erg oncomfortabel maakte. Ook last van blauw licht van atrium gebouw naast de kamer. Schimmel in douche cabine. Verder wel een ruime kamer en van gemakken voorzien. Locatie van hotel is top en prettig om de stad te verkennen

I servizi sono tantissimi e sembrano tutti di un ottimo livello, purtroppo ero solo di passaggio e non ho avuto occasione di provarli. Oltre alle sale meeting, la spa, il ristorante e la sala colazioni la struttura sembra condivisa con altre proprieta, si trova ai piani piu alti di un palazzo dal quale si entra da una specie di centro commerciale e ci sono anche dei negozi. Hotel moderno ed in ottime condizioni, camere spaziose, la doccia era grandissima! Perche non metterci anche una seduta visto che lo spazio non manca? Ottimo pernottamento!

Het hotel is prima. Kamers zijn netjes, ontbijt is goed en fijne regendouche. Ook de locatie is fijn met mooi uitzicht vanaf de bar op de 12e verdieping. Toch heb ik ook wel twee minpunten. Onze kamer was veel te warm! Het was vervelend dat we geen raam naar buiten open konden doen doordat ons raam op de binnenplaats uitkeek. Daardoor niet geweldig geslapen. Verder adverteren ze met Welness/zwembad maar het zwembad is alleen tussen 8:00 en 9:30 toegankelijk voor hotelgasten en daarna betaal je toeslag…. Heel gek en heel jammer! Adverteer hier dan niet mee of maak hier een duidelijke disclaimer over. Al met al plussen en minnen.

Walls are thin (you hear every cough in corridors and neighboring rooms) and rooms are situated on floors where there are active businesses operating like physiotherapy studios. That raised for us questions about security since anyone can come up the elevator. Want a gym, spa, or simple breakfast? Expect to pay lots of extras, diminishing the value for money.

Pal bij het centraal station van Leiden, goede gepositioneerd om centrum in te gaan. Algehele indruk van hotel, personeel en voorzieningen zijn goed. Omdat het voornamelijk bij een hotel over het overnachten gaat viel het comfort van het bed tegen! Het matras was aan beide zijden doorgezakt (2 "kuilen" ) terwijl het midden nog solide was. Dit matras had al lang vervangen moeten worden. Fletcher Hotel: schenk hier aandacht aan , los het op!

The room was freezing and the thermostat was meaningless—I was given a space heater to warm it (was 60 degrees in the room at one point). The breakfast was excellent as was the location—just steps from Leiden train station.

Op zich net en prettig hotel. We moesten alleen, binnen het gebouw, erg omslachtig omlopen om bij onze kamer te komen. Dat was niet prettig/handig. De kamer was netjes maar de schuifdeur voor douch en toilet wat minder praktisch.

House keeping staff left much to be desired, but receptionists were all great, professional and responded promptly to my complaints. House keeping staff put soiled (blood-stained) or worn out sheets on my bed. Although the sheets were pressed, it was unacceptable that they did not notice the stains on them. They also failed to clean the room , collect the trash or replace the coffee pods/coffee cups on several occasions — One house keeper in particular was rude and raised his voice when I faked for unstained pillows & duvet (the ones already in the room were badly solved). Hotel is not safe as you can reach the rooms without passing by the reception from the train station, the cleanliness of the bed was not so good ,also the staff was not helpful at all ,I forgot one T-shirt after I checked out in the wardrobe and it disappeared after the cleaning people access the room , also the staff was not responding through emails or phone.

De telefoon en het kluisje op de kamer werkten beide niet. Moesten terug lopen naar de receptie (omdat tel defect was) om dit te melden. Kregen een nieuwe kamer, ook hier werkte het kluisje niet. Weer teruggelopen naar receptie en dit gemeld aan de dame van de receptie. Ze gaf aan dat de technische dienst al weg was (15.45 uur...). Verder kon ze niet voor ons doen... Volgende dag bij uitchecken aangegeven (aan andere receptioniste) dat we niet tevreden waren over ons verblijf, hierop werd ons parkeertarief van 15 euro door het hotel betaald.

Modernes neues Gebäude. Jedoch ist das Hotel von außen einfach nicht sichtbar . Man muss schon etwas suchen . Erstmal angekommen fühlt man sich jedoch direkt wohl. Gemütliche Zimmer mit guter Ausstattung und das Frühstück könnte nicht besser sein . Jedoch muss man leider sagen das der Parkplatz mit 15 Euro am Tag sehr teuer ist und bei einem längeren Aufenthalt nicht vergessen darf . In der näheren Umgebung befinden sich auch sonst keine Parkmöglichkeiten.

Gebäude nicht mit Hotel Fletsher gekennzeichnet. Keine Möglichkeit vor dem Hotel mit dem Auto zu halten, weil es keinen Hinweis auf das Hotel gab. Sofort von der Polizei ein Strafmandat erhalten. Meine Verzweiflung als Fahrer, das Hotel zu suchen und nicht finden zu können, spielte keine Rolle.

Wie bereits in anderen Bewertungen gelesen, musste man sich erst mal die Rezeption suchen. Einfahren in das Level Parkhaus, Ausgang C, Knopf 12, dann ist man schon mal auf dem richtigen Weg. Die Empfangsfrau war nicht sehr motiviert, sehr kühl und konnte auch die Buchung nicht finden, erst eine Kollegin konnte ihr helfen. Das Zimmer war noch nicht fertig und wir konnten uns schon mal die Stadt angucken. 2h später waren wir dann in unserem Zimmer im 10ten Stock, eine schöne Aussicht erwartete uns, das Zimmer, wie bereits bei anderen beschrieben, war sehr offen. Bei der offenen Gestaltung der Dusche und Toilette muss man sich schon sehr gern haben als Reisende. Die Wellnessleistungen sind nicht inklusive und kosten am Tag ca. 20 Euro. Schwimmen gehen kann man von 0800-0930 Uhr kostenfrei, das haben wir aber nicht gemacht. Ein Highlight war die defekte Fernbedienung (komplett zerstört und keinem Housekeeping aufgefallen), die konnte durch die Rezeption erst nach 4 Gesprächen und 2h Zeit behoben werden. Die Rezeption spricht auch nur Holländisch und teils Englisch, mit Deutsch kommt man hier nicht wirklich weiter. Die Stadt und die zentrale Lage zum Bahnhof machen die Location optimal wenn man noch andere Städte mit dem Zug bereisen möchte. Wie danke für die Erfahrung im Hotel und wünschen weiter viel Erfolg.

Difficult to find ...had to ask locals for directions. Dont use if your not okay with nudity...you can only use pool at set time. All other sevices chargeable and you cant wear bathing costumes. TV remote broke....phone didnt Dont work...reception located on the 12th floor not good for my hubby with limited mobilty.

Die Betten haben ihre beste Zeit schon länger überschritten. Das Frühstück war lecker allerdings würde ein bisschen mehr Abwechslung sehr gut tun. Ansonsten war alles okay.

Værelset var helt fint og rummeligt. Dog kunne rengøringen godt være bedre. Lidt eb flad oplevelse af hotellet generelt. Det var ikke så tydeligt beskrevet, at poolen kun kan anvendes fra kl 8-9.30 om morgenen, resten af tiden skal man betale ekstra for at kunne anvende poolen (og wellness). Alderen er +16 og det er uden badetøj på. Hotellet er i en bygning hvor der på samme etage som værelserne er fysioterapi lokaler og alt muligt andet mærkeligt erhverv, som du deler hotelgang med. Maden i restauranten var ikke særlig god.

Toplocatie! Perfecte afstand tot aan de winkels, geweldige restaurants en andere leuke atrracties. Heerlijk ontbijt en genoeg keuze. Erg schoon en netjes allemaal. Kussens waren vrij dun, maar later zagen we dat er een kussen-opvul-service is. Wat verwarrend dat het hotel gesitueerd is in de verzameltoren en niet heel duidelijk was dat we gebruik konden maken van de ondergronde parkeergelegenheid. Al met al een dikke 9!

Had the suite room. All good. Only thing is that we were in the builiding on the other side so a little bit inconvenient where you have to go down to level 10 then walk all the way to the other building and then go to the allocated floor. At 21.00 they close the door in that building so if you are a smoker then you have to go all the way to the other buidling again so all in all not so convenient. Staff is great and location is good.

Fantastic location, right next to train station. But, basically, this place is like a conference centre and rooms look out onto internal offices. Big air conditioning units take up space in room rather than them being integrated. Staff were friendly and resolved an issue we had with our first room by re-rooming us. Breakfast was ok. Nice bread /pastries and coffee. Cooked buffet was limited. We were excited about using the spa before we found out it was a naked one and you couldn’t wear a swimsuit- no thank you! Also, it came at an additional cost which wasn’t clear to us at the time of booking.

Location is excellent, right beside the station, an easy well lit walk to the beautiful center of leiden. Super range of breakfast, very fresh. Nespresso machine and pods in the room.
