Excelente opción a solo unos metros del mar un hermoso lugar las piscinas siempre limpias el restaurante tiene un menú exquisito y siempre tendrás variedad y tu desayuno es gratuito con la estancia. El mejor café de la zona servido como el refill que quieras. Todo el personal súper cálido y muy profesional. Amamos estar ahí!

El hotel está muy descuidado, sarro en el baño, regadera muy viejita, y parte de la habitación descarapelada, no hay cortesias para baño, no tiene elevador, si te toca 3er piso será pesado subir maletas a pesar de la ayuda, esta bien ubicado, cruzando una calle estas en playa Zicatela, y el desayuno gratis es en el restaurante Costa Brava, que está en la playa, y es muy bueno.

Los recepcionistas son muy amables, te reciben con una cerveza y te cuidan las maletas si aún no es la hora de check in. El desayuno incluido en caña brava es muy rico y tienen opciones para todos los gustos. Lo único es que la alberca más grande del hotel si le falta un poco de limpieza constante ya que hay muchos animales flotando y a mi novia le picó una avispa que no vimos porque era de noche. Fuera de esto último todo muy bien. Si lo recomiendo 👍

Lugar 100% recomendado en todos los aspectos. Las instalaciones del hotel están en perfectas condiciones, cuenta con 2 albercas a muy buena temperatura y los cuartos están muy cómodos con aire acondicionado y smart TV. La atención del personal fue extraordinaria y en todo momento dan el extra para hacer que tu estancia sea muy buena. La ubicación del hotel está perfecta en pleno corazón de zicatela y como a 20 min del aeropuerto. Definitivamente es un lugar ampliamente recomendable.
Lugar 100% recomendado en todos los aspectos. Las instalaciones del hotel están en perfectas condiciones, cuenta con 2 albercas a muy buena temperatura y los cuartos están muy cómodos con aire acondicionado y smart TV. This hotel is directly across the street from the beach. This beach is for surfing not swimming. There was great food walking distance from the hotel. We loved cafecito it was authentic and reasonably priced. The free breakfast from the hotel was good & great portions but the flys make it difficult to enjoy. The hotel has 3 different building with pools in the center. We stayed in the newest building on the third floor. No elevators just stairs but we didn’t have an issue with it. The room was cleaned everyday and we got fresh towels daily. The ac worked amazingly has a lil fridge for beverages. I had read in previous reviews about the night club noise. WOW it’s pretty bad we stayed Tuesday through Sunday. We got woken up on Thursday night from music it went until 3am. It seems like the most popular clubs were directly across from this hotel. I couldn’t even be mad because I had read this but chose to take a risk dont think I’d do it again. The staff was very friendly. If your young single want to party perfect place for you. If you have little ones they will be woken up from music at the clubs.

The property was good option. It was aafe and conveniently located by the beach and restaurants. It includes breakfast with great options at their restaurant. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean. The only 2 downsides were that there is no elevator and the pools need cleaning. The pools just didn't look clean.

The staff’s customer service is above and beyond. They make you feel at home and are available 24/7. The views, pool, food options and location are the best in town. The Only thing I didn’t like is the cleanliness of the pool. The water is not the crystal cleanest and could definitely be improved

Falta limpieza, no es lo que se ve en las fotos, los camastros sucios , había cucarachas en mi cuarto(45), la atención del personal muy buena en el hotel, pero en el desayuno no es correcto solo pedir una cosa, el bufet sería mejor, uno de los meseros no bañado y poco aseado. Muy mal sin estacionamiento problema buscar dónde estacionarse.

El hotel es bonito pero es muy viejo y se nota que no le han dado mantenimiento en años. Los baños sucios, las toallas percudidas, los cuartos muy mal distribuidos, los muebles viejos y rotos. El lavabo que me tocó en el cuarto 42 tenía solo una tabla muy vieja sosteniéndolo El costo del hotel no refleja para nada el servicio

The staff was wonderful, always attentive breakfast well served welcome drink given upon arrival. The only bad part is the location is above a disco or nightclub. You can hear the music up till two or three in the morning every night. Water pressure Low and one night no hot water. Bit cannot say enough of the staff 10 out of 10

This hotel is in a nice location. But the water pressure in the shower is almost nonexistent and the water never gets really hot. Small things were found broken when we arrived. Like the toilet paper holder, towel holder and door to the dryer. The freezer in the refrigerator is frozen over and cannot be used. Do not expect a quiet night here as people party all night long on the adjoining beach.

The staff at the reception were excellent. The breakfast and dining room service was also very good. Very timely service and large portions for the money. The pool area was nice. On the other side, housekeeping never made it to our room to clean it over the three days we were there, always coming at the end of the day when we were back getting ready for dinner. The rooms are very outdated and the locks on the rooms are very old. The hotel makes you give ID to have a beach towel, or a hairdryer or an iron. I forgot my key in my room one time and the housekeeping person just jimmied the lock by sticking a steak knife through the moulding on the wall and popping the door open. This property is well located, near a bar that has live music every night, much of it not good music. It was loud and unpleasant and the windows did little to block the noise. This hotel is quite overpriced for what you get.

Todo excelente la atención muy buena, igual limpieza diaria excelente. Los desayunos que incluye súper completos y buenos. Solamente, la habitación con vista al mar la verdad está un poco vieja, no parece lo que se ve en las fotos. Al parecer hay un área remodelada recomiendo pedir habitación en esa área. Sin embargo, está bastante aceptable y el ruido de los lugares nocturnos no es molesto como mencionan cientos de comentarios

We reserved a room with a king size bed and deck with ocean view. What we didn't realize was these rooms were in the old part of the hotel, rooms are very worn, bathrooms were rough, no hot water and it was on the main street. Very loud at night - the music from the clubs went on til 3, 4 5am! We were offered a different room, which is in the new part of the hotel, however there were no rooms with king size beds available, and the rooms were tiny. There wasn't even enough room for an extra chair! We were sold a deluxe room, and offered a significantly reduced room in its place. The staff were wonderful throughout our stay, but the property itself needs some work.

El hotel es bonito pero el personal es nefasto y grosero no da apoyo ni solución, son prepotentes y abusivos, la habitación tenía un problema en el baño se trataba e inundaba la habitación y jamás dieron solución. Deberían cambiar de recepcionistas

L’hôtel est situé à 10m d’une boîte de nuit sans aucune insonorisation, les fenêtres ne ferment pas bien, donc peu importe votre chambre il est impossible de dormir avant 3h du matin Nous avons eu des cafards dans la chambre qui sortent par les canalisations. Our stay at Bungalows Zicatela was Amazing, Staff was supper friendly specially Williams he was welcoming and funny. It’s right in the middle of great restaurants, bars, and night life. The option they have for free breakfast is great the options they offer are really good and fulfilling.

The staff at the reception were excellent. The breakfast and dining room service was also very good. Very timely service and large portions for the money. The pool area was nice. On the other side, housekeeping never made it to our room to clean it over the three days we were there, always coming at the end of the day when we were back getting ready for dinner. The rooms are very outdated and the locks on the rooms are very old. The hotel makes you give ID to have a beach towel, or a hairdryer or an iron. I forgot my key in my room one time and the housekeeping person just jimmied the lock by sticking a steak knife through the moulding on the wall and popping the door open. This property is well located, near a bar that has live music every night, much of it not good music. It was loud and unpleasant and the windows did little to block the noise. This hotel is quite overpriced for what you get.

The staff is wonderful! William was great and super helpful and very accommodating with my whole family. The hotel is located in a great location, walkable to several restaurants and safe area. I highly recommend this hotel!

Lugar 100% recomendado en todos los aspectos. Las instalaciones del hotel están en perfectas condiciones, cuenta con 2 albercas a muy buena temperatura y los cuartos están muy cómodos con aire acondicionado y smart TV. La atención del personal fue extraordinaria y en todo momento dan el extra para hacer que tu estancia sea muy buena. La ubicación del hotel está perfecta en pleno corazón de zicatela y como a 20 min del aeropuerto. Definitivamente es un lugar ampliamente recomendable.

The staff was wonderful, always attentive breakfast well served welcome drink given upon arrival. The only bad part is the location is above a disco or nightclub. You can hear the music up till two or three in the morning every night. Water pressure Low and one night no hot water. Bit cannot say enough of the staff 10 out of 10

The hotel is in the middle of a noisy nightclub area. The techno music could be heard until 3:00AM every night (morning). The hotel offered to relocate us from our ocean-view room to an interior room, and it did lesson the noise a bit, but no matter what, it was audible in every room. If you’re a light sleeper, code a hotel outside of the Zicatela Beach.

I went with a group of friends and stayed in Bungalows Zicatela and our stay was really pleasent. The location is the best for this hotel, right in front you have restaurants and night bars to go have some fun also to go shopping ecerything is walking you don’t need to drive or grab a taxi. The beach is also right in front.The staff were exellent people to us helped us out in everything we needed. The seimming pool and the breakfast were awsome as well. The only thing about this hotel are the rooms the furniture is old and nothing modern, roomw were clean anyways so it was okay, other than that I really do recomend this hotel to stay I give it an 8 out of 10.

This was our first time to Puerto Escondido and Bungalow Zicatela was the perfect place to stay because in the middle of a lot of activities. Due to flight delays, we arrived a day later and the hotel still held our reservation. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. The hotel has 2 restaurants, which both had excellent food. We stayed for 2 weeks, which seemed longer than most stay so we developed some friendships with the staff. There is a lot more to see in Puerto Escondido so we will be back and probably will stay at Bungalow Zicatela.
This was our first time to Puerto Escondido and Bungalow Zicatela was the perfect place to stay because in the middle of a lot of activities. Los recepcionistas son muy amables, te reciben con una cerveza y te cuidan las maletas si aún no es la hora de check in. El desayuno incluido en caña brava es muy rico y tienen opciones para todos los gustos. Lo único es que la alberca más grande del hotel si le falta un poco de limpieza constante ya que hay muchos animales flotando y a mi novia le picó una avispa que no vimos porque era de noche. Fuera de esto último todo muy bien. Si lo recomiendo 👍

This hotel is directly across the street from the beach. This beach is for surfing not swimming. There was great food walking distance from the hotel. We loved cafecito it was authentic and reasonably priced. The free breakfast from the hotel was good & great portions but the flys make it difficult to enjoy. The hotel has 3 different building with pools in the center. We stayed in the newest building on the third floor. No elevators just stairs but we didn’t have an issue with it. The room was cleaned everyday and we got fresh towels daily. The ac worked amazingly has a lil fridge for beverages. I had read in previous reviews about the night club noise. WOW it’s pretty bad we stayed Tuesday through Sunday. We got woken up on Thursday night from music it went until 3am. It seems like the most popular clubs were directly across from this hotel. I couldn’t even be mad because I had read this but chose to take a risk dont think I’d do it again. The staff was very friendly. If your young single want to party perfect place for you. If you have little ones they will be woken up from music at the clubs.

We were told that there would be some music at night, but couldn’t imagine that we would not be able to sleep until the music stopped at 4am. When I asked to change rooms the next day, I was assured that there would not be music as it was Sunday. Well the music was just as loud and another night of no sleep. The beach view is NOT worth the loss of two night’s sleep. I won’t stay there again.
