I was really impressed by this hotel, it was only really a bed for a night so I had low expectations but I was absolutely happy with how clean and comfy the room was. I wasn’t expecting a bar either or the secure free parking so this was all a nice surprise. Will definitely be using this hotel again.

Great budget hotel, chose because it stated EV charging - which was £30 connection fee and a slow destination charger so same cost weather it put 200 miles in or 30. Breakfast was a very small buffet but ok, rooms were clean and comfortable.

If you’re in a motorcycle be aware that you can’t get in if the barrier is down as it doesn’t recognise motorcycles. Check in was quick and good. The hotel is in the services with a McDonald’s, KFC and Starbucks very close by, there is also a petrol station.

No towels, pillows missing enable to call reception because the phone did not work so as a disable person i have to walk back to reception 3 time to sort problems. 3 disable parking spaces all full for cars with no blue badages. Told reception and they said they would have them moved, on my return after 3 hours the same 3 cars park in them. As a disabled war veteran with 30 years servers in the Royal Navy. This is the worst experience iv have. I through the best western hotel in Weymouth was bad which i stayed in a few months ago, but this place was disgusting. I will no be staying in a best western again and i will be spreading the word across the military net work.. extremely disappointed 😞

Friendly staff. Quiet for a hotel, bar the door into the lobby which seemed to slam with some people coming in. Any issue resolved quickly. Couldn’t get hot water to the basin, but in the end figured you turn the mixer tap to the left and on fully for a few minutes or had to use a glass from the bath tap. Bath tap seemed to have oil in as bath was getting a ring of black when filling it. But overall good budget hotel, basic amenities, but close to eateries including KFC, McDonalds and Harvester. Breakfast was alright and convenient. Just off the main roads so good to get to Newport and Cardiff etc.

We had a room for three and my daughter said the pull out sofabed was very uncomfortable, it did appear to be collapsing. I'd stay again as a couple though.

The check in staff were excellent... Very efficient.... The bed was terrible.. Very uncomfortable and the mattress should be replaced immediately... Looked like an elephant had been sleeping on the bed.. Worse bed iv ever slept on.....

Arrived very late but check in good. Booked for 3 adults yet the sofa bed wasn’t ready which would have been nice not to have to sort out with arriving so late. Having said that the sofa bed was awful. The mattress was non existence and I felt every movement. Awful sleep

No air conditioning in the room and the window only opens an inch. So could not get any airflow into the room. There was a free-standing fan but that wasn’t a huge help. Consequently I did not sleep well at all on the two nights I was there.

All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a bit on the small side, in my view, but it was clean and tidy Water pressure in the shower wasn't as strong as I would have like but that might just be a personal preference rather than anything else

The staff were very friendly, helpful, chatty and smiley. Accommodating to my request to help store my medicine in the fridge.Everything was clean and neat. I felt very comfortable and would highly recommend this place to another. Thank you for your hospitality!

Lovely stay .The young girl who checked us in was lovely and very helpful. The middle aged lady the day after not so. The room was lovely ,warm and cosy. Everything very clean ,bathroom,beds,towels Good internet and free parking. Nice lobby to sit in.Great big coffees for a cheap price. Will definitely stay again.Family of 3 Mum DadSon 24 yrs old.

Great quiet spot for the rugby weekend, train station close by although the lack of a footpath makes it a longer walk. Staff were nice and the place is clean and tidy, couldn’t ask for more.

Very convenient local MacDonalds, Subway, Kentucky, and a very good restaurant across the roundabout. Handy as the hotel food is limited in the evening. breakfast is very good and free.

Three night stay for business. Don’t usually stop in Best Western but was pleasantly surprised by this hotel . Good room Good breakfast Good WiFi Free parking . Would use again .

The room (206) was small. But more than adequate for an overnight stay. The bed was comfortable and blackout curtains were much needed and blocked out any light ensuring a good sleep. The only let down was the breakfast. Needless to say I will not buy it again. No bread!! They run out. Sorry there is a garage shop nearby go get a loaf. Bacon was anemic and sparse. Scrambled eggs like egg soup. Coffee was coloured water.. OMG i am not kidding. Awful. When greeted for breakfast we were asked "any allergies" i said no, but in hindsight i should have said "only to watered down beans, tinned tomatoes without any juice, a lack of bread, and bacon fresh out of the packet...".

This was a great find. Good breakfast, excellent parking, quiet and clean. Room was decked with all that was needed for two people, tea & coffee and hairdryer! Been to a place i won't name in Birmingham where you had to pay £20 to be given a hair dryer for your room. Spacious bathroom and good water pressure
