Staff was very nice. The hotel has a wonderful breakfast before skiing, watwr and coffee stations, pool table and nice sitting area. Ski bus is right outside of hotel. Near by ski rental too. All in walking diatance to shoppIng, food and train.

Hotellet har fantastisk «front of house» stab som tok i mot oss som kongelige. Vi anbefaler dette hotellet varmt. Plasseringen er perfekt og vi ladet bilen vår uten problemer på hotellets parkering, rett ved lobbyen.

A rustic hotel with awesome views of Mont Blanc. A hotel with old charm for visitors who came with the sole purpose of skiing back in the days. The amenities were minimal but we liked the experience. The room was spacious for 4 and the beds were comfortable. We didn't bother getting the hotel breakfast as there a couple of good patisseries close by for fraction where you can get breakfast for a fraction of the cost. The hotel had a good patio where we enjoyed or breakfast and scenic views of Mont Blanc. The hotel puts out cookies and treats everyday for guests to enjoy. They had a espresso machine with espresso and hot chocolate. They had a pool table and foosball table in the game room which was nice. Our overall stay was very enjoyable.

The staff gave us a super friendly welcome. They were very helpful throughout our stay. The building is charming and the view from our room was incredible. Breakfast is very good. Like most places we’ve been too, it is better to get there in the first half of the breakfast window. They ran out of pastries in the last hour. They are in the middle of some construction. This made the parking difficult at times. But, the staff managed to find solutions to accommodate everyone.

Stayed for 3 days after coming from the 3 Valleys ski area. This stay was a fantastic experience - parking was easy and convenient, check in was smooth as the gentleman was pleasant and professional. He explained the logistics of the hotel and offered info about the surrounding area. The hotel had a bar lounge area on the first floor with a pool table, foosball table, fireplace and lounging area for free afternoon teatime … it also had a small workout area with sauna/showers, climbing wall and relaxation area. Our room was spacious and had a gorgeous view of the creek and the Aiguille du Midi … Breakfast was great with a wide range of food choices along with a beautiful view from the dining area. The hotel offered a discount for Ski rental through a shop nearby and had a ski locker for use by guests. Restaurants and shopping were all around - we walked to the town center and roamed about easily. This will be our first choice if we return to Chamonix in the future - thank you L’Arve !! Booking through Expedia made it easy and all the charges were exactly as expected - bravo to both !

Alles ist praktikabel, sehr sauber und ordentlich. Parkplätze im Hof.

Even though the weather wasn’t great and we couldn’t take the cable car to Aiguille du Midi, we still really enjoyed our time in Chamonix. The staff were very friendly and even let us park our car early — free parking is a real bonus here! Our two-bedroom apartment was huge, fully equipped, and had a massive balcony with amazing mountain views. The hot breakfast was excellent. The only downsides were that the laundry machine was out of order and the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. Otherwise, it would have been a perfect stay.
Even though the weather wasn’t great and we couldn’t take the cable car to Aiguille du Midi, we still really enjoyed our time in Chamonix. The staff were very friendly and even let us park our car early — free parking is a real bonus here! Our two-bedroom apartment was huge, fully equipped, and had a massive balcony with amazing mountain views. The hot breakfast was excellent. The rooms were very outdated. Felt kinda dirty but most likely just old. The staff and shared area was great. I would not stay here again but if you are not looking for luxury it’s fine. I would have preferred a little more comfort.

Godt beliggende hotel med gratis parkering. Tæt på centrum og tæt på liften. Små men gode værelser. Herlig morgenbuffet. Meget søde og venlige personaler, som taler flere sprog. Regøring hver dag og den var helt i top. Rolig beliggenhed tæt på floden.

Nice hotel, staff was very kind and gentle, very good service in general. Only thing that was not so good is that the "mountain view" was not what one would think. Small Windows that look to the parking an You could barely see a mountain betweem buildings. Couldnt even see it from bed.

The location was great and my room had a balcony so I could enjoy the mountain view and river Arve, but it’s a dated property and when I went to have a shower in the morning before departure, there was no hot water. Thankfully the weather was warm. The shower could do with updating as the shower head faced the loose glass partition, which meant the water couldn’t be contained and wet the entire floor. I had to use multiple towels to soak up the mess. Convenient for one night but I wouldn’t stay there again.

Being at this hotel is like camping. No frills, tiny room, no air conditioning, no window screens, ridiculously small bathrooms and shower you can’t turn around in without hitting the temp control. The cost for such an experience is exorbitant, well over 300E. Their only saving grace is the wonderful Claire, who works at reception and is brimming with good suggestions for where to dine, sightsee etc. also there is a nice patio beside a fast running glacial stream- that’s it in a nutshell.

Overall good hotel, just a shame about the paper thin walls and ceiling as you can hear everything, it sounded like there was an elephant stomping around above our room every night until about midnight. But the hotel was clean and friendly I wouldn’t stay again because of the noise and having a young child with us

This was a comfortable "budget-friendly" (for Europe in the summer) hotel with a decent location (easily walkable to the train station, stores and restaurants, though further from the Chamonix Sud bus station everything seems to leave from). We had a two bedroom apartment which was clean and roomy. Main issue with the hotel was TOTAL LACK OF CLIMATE CONTROL. I appreciate that the weather was warmer than normal (highs in the 80s), but they really need to invest in some ceiling fans at a minimum, and AC in the bedrooms would be better. Extremely hot at night, windows lacked screens and didn't let in much air, noisy courtyard made for very poor sleeping conditions.

Extremely happy with the service I received at this hotel. Claire and the team were helpful, friendly and very accomodating. The room was clean and the hotel was cosy and comfortable. We were very impressed with the complimentary snacks and coffee. The hotel is in a fantastic location close to everything! I can’t thank the staff enough for making our stay so enjoyable and stress free! We will certainly be coming back here!

Incrível! o Hotel é super bem localizado, ao lado do Rio e do centro da cidade. Tem duas saídas de pedestres que facilitava na hora da locomoção. O pessoal da recepção foi super atencioso. Para nossa surpresa duas pessoas da equipe falavam português e foram super solícitos. O Cristiano foi super atenciosos. Outra surpresa agradável foi uma espécie de open bar de café e chá o dia inteiro, além de um bolo no final da tarde. Excelentíssima opção pra ficar em Chamonix.

Friendly and helpful staff! We were pleasantly surprised to learn that they offer a variety of coffee-tea and water 24/7. Everyday at 4pm they offer a little dessert like marble cake! Their outdoor space faces the mountain with the river running alongside it. It’s quite lovely and comfortable. Our room had a little balcony. Be sure to ask for a room on the 2nd floor or above facing the mountain. Parking can be tricky as it fills up fast. It’s centrally located with restaurants, shops down the street and the Aiguille du Midi and Montenvers Mer de Glace within 10-15 min walking distance. Our car stayed parked our entire stay as we also used the local bus system. The carpet in the hallway could use updating. The slim stairs from the first floor to the lobby require you to pay attention on the way down. Nice lobby area with plenty of indoor seating as well. We would definitely return!

Great hotel, with a excellent location just at the edge of the pedestrian area. The views from the garden (open to everyone) are amazing. We were staying in a 2 bedroom apartment. The apartments are in a different building. We got the one on top floor that has the best view (on the aiguilles de Chamonix, and aiguilles rouges on the other side,but the view of mont blanc is obstructed). The other apartments didn't seem to have much view, but it doesn't matter as much since you can just go sit in the garden and enjoy the view there. The best part was the service, that was above and beyond, especially from the person that was there in the evening. From what we have seen, the hotel rooms have a bit more character than the apartments (and some a really nice view), but for us the 2 bedroom was a great value as everyone could have their room, and we also a had a kitchen and a washing machine

Excellent service!!! High standard! There was a coffee/ tea machine, a spring / sparkling water machine near the lobby. You can get hot or cold drink free any time. Buffet breakfast was included. Moreover, at 4pm delicious cakes and cookie were served free! You can borrow bicycles free as well. The lobby is bright and cosy and there were some games. The members of staff were very helpful and responded very quickly. Extraordinary good hotel!

What a wonderful hotel! We stayed in 6 or 7 budget hotels on our holiday to France and Switzerland and this was definitely our favourite. The staff are amazing (shout out to Samir, originally from Iran). There is a gorgeous garden overlooking the Arve River you can sit in which has sun or shade all day. Sit with a free water or coffee from the machines in the lobby or with a complementary pastry/homemade cake. Our room was a standard room but had amazing views of Mont Blanc and a lovely balcony. As with all budget hotels there are cons - no air con though after a first sleepless night Samir did find me a fan. It could also do with a refresh, especially the hallways. And our room was ‘between floors’ so no lift access. The breakfast was just ok, and over priced for me (our room rate didn’t include it( We’d come back here in a flash though!

The hotel acts as a convenient base to explore Chamonix and the surrounding area. It has all the basics needed with good size rooms. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Although there are no tea or coffee facilities in the room, the hotel does provide hot and cold drinks in the lobby, and cake at 1600 each day is a nice touch. There was a good breakfast selection, and some excellent local produce.

Staff was very nice. The hotel has a wonderful breakfast before skiing, watwr and coffee stations, pool table and nice sitting area. Ski bus is right outside of hotel. Near by ski rental too. All in walking diatance to shoppIng, food and train.

It was so lovely. Our room looked out over the river with an amazing view of Mont Blanc. We had our own little balcony.Wonderful breakfast. Great back yard hang out. Staff super friendly and local knowledge. Couldnt have been happier.

The check-in process started our stay out poorly. We arrived early, hoping to drop off our luggage and change after the train. We were told that our room should be ready 15:00 - 15:30, which is pretty standard. When we came back at about 15:15, we waited for about 15 minutes before they told us the room would not be ready until 17:00. Given the heat and travel, we were eager to get settle and freshen before exploring, but could not. After checking in, on first opening of the door, the apartment had a very strong presence of cleaner fumes, quite overbearing. We had to open all the windows to manage the fumes. Aside from the space itself was good, two bedrooms, full kitchen, dining table, separate toilet and shower rooms and a large balcony. One issue we had, and its personal preference, is the lack of Air Conditioning. I understand, this is not an issue for much of the year, but in June, it is very hot. You can open the windows, but then every random smoker walking by impacts your space.
