Pros: friendly stuff, shout out to Lupita! Clean and comfortable beds and pillows. Personal care products in the bathroom and by the sink, including shower gel. Good breakfast with eggs and sausages. Nice pool and hot tub areas. Good and strong wi-fi, but no cable, just streaming services. Cons: not enough rooms ready by the check-in time. Microwave and ice machine just in the breakfast area- one of each for all the hotel guests. One elevator for entire hotel. No gluten free items available with breakfast. No hooks or shelves in the bathroom- nowhere to hang your towels or wet swimsuits.

The good: The breakfast was better than expected with either waffles, eggs, turkey sausage, bagels, cereal, etc. The pool area was clean and the pool and hot tub were pleasant, as was the 1980s music being played there. Also, staff was attentive to the issues we had during our stay. The cons: Checking was frustrating as they did not have our room ready on time and, when it was ready, it was missing hand soap, shampoo, and did not have enough towels to accommodate a family of four. The room itself was smaller than expected with poor lighting and minimal decor, which made it feel a little depressing to be in our room. No cable/antenna for local channels, instead it was streaming only for the TV (and not the best quality of streaming, either). The beds were not very comfortable as we all awoke multiple times per night due to being uncomfortable. The room got stuffy and humid quick (especially after showers) even when the fan was on and it was unpleasant having the window open due to noise from nearby I-8.

The staff were very pleasant and friendly; very impressed. Breakfast choices were plentiful and the options were well-stocked. Perhaps the best part was a comfy king-sized bed with a large TV positioned directly in front. Relaxing!
