Albury Garden Court Motel

A good place to stay as close to shops. The facilities were good and reception friendly.

Not worth the price. “Patio” is gravel and a steel frame between other rooms, and has never been weeded. Stayed 2 night. Room wasn’t made up after the first night, even though reception said it would be. Mould on ceiling above shower. Definitely not worth the money I paid. Won’t be staying again.

The property was clean and tidy. The room was clean and tidy. The swimming pool was great especially in those hot days.

For the price point this was disappointing. We travel regularly in regional Australia, and were surprised what we paid for a quite ordinary room. Things that we noticed, tiles that were a tripping hazard, tv we couldn’t get channels, it just lacked care in presentation Yes we could have approached reception but there was never anyone there

Traditional motel that has been intelligently and well updated. Nothing flash but very comfortable and spacious. Everything has been thought about. Adequate lighting for reading and working is unusual in any motel and was very good here. The semi-private courtyard outside was nice. Ultra helpful lady on reception. Great location. I will be back.

Lovely basic motel with very friendly staff nice a close to the Albury CBD. Would be nice if they did up the court yard of the room even with just some succulents in pots to make it more inviting

Centrally located. Quiet. Clean. Very basic kitchen facilities provided (microwave, a few plates and cutlery, sink). Comfortable beds. It appeared to be well maintained. In the end though, don't get too excited - it is a motel, though perhaps a cut above the average.

Upon arrival the person at the front counter did not seem to know what was going on. They were dressed in filthy clothes and the foyer smelt terrible. I basically had to figure out finding my key myself and telling them how to do it. The property was not well kept with random pieces of furniture left around and sheets up in the office windows. The room was very run down and dirty. Definitely not good value and not like the photos. I can appreciate that motels can be older but as long as they are clean then no troubles. This room didn’t feel nice to be in. There were dirty pieces of paper around the room with instructions. The back glass door opened to an awful patio with overgrown weeds and a walkway that anyone could go past meaning you couldn’t open the blinds. Something had been spilt on the carpet and when I put bags down it soaked through to our clothes making them dirty. Yuk!! In the morning I found a bed bug in my daughters bed - we couldn’t get out of there fast enough. I will never stay here again.

The room was a little dated, but it was spotless and the linen was clean and the bed was comfortable.

For the amount that we paid, it was not up to scratch, even the receptionist said we paid too much & gave us a bottle of red wine as compensation!! The rooms smelt like urine, the bathroom was definitely not clean & the pillows were lumpy & terrible to try & sleep with. We would not recommend staying here as a family at all. There are much better options out there that charge the same amount as this motel.

Dirty. Sink was dirty. Shower dirty. Towels not super clean. No effort put into cleaning these areas. Lighting good. No tissues. International Roast is the WORST coffee. Not worth the full rate they charge.

Staff were so lovely and welcoming - they made a big difference to our stay. Also, the room was impeccably clean

The toilet hadn't been cleaned properly. There were still skid marks in the bowl. The seat for the toilet was also broken. Bed looked as though someone had been on it.

Found Bed Bugs on the beds. Could not sleep and killed around 5-6 bed bugs.

For a motel it was quite good. It certainly needs a facelift, but given the age it is still clean. Staff were lovely. However, there was a family next to use who were very loud late into the night. Given most people in Albury accommodation are travelling to/from Sydney or Melbourne and have to drive the next day, you would think they would police this.

If you’re looking for a quick stopover in Albury and need some space for kids, book this place! The two bedroom apartment is huge and has everything you need. It’s close to everything and the staff are amazing.

Old motel with a white painted brick facelift. Reasonably comfortable on the inside, but did not feel very secure for myself and my kids. I think I would feel better with a better front door lock than a button and a chain.

Lots of space , well maintained.

The fridge was not cleaned and still had some used food in it. The bed was unbelievably hard. The large television was broken. The managers representative could not get it to work. No sorry or compensation offered.

Room was nice, bed comfy and shower was amazing. There were little touches like toothbrushes and slippers, and the shower was awesome. Great location near the centre of Albury but relatively quiet.
