Very clean room, comfortable beds, had all we needed for a family of 5, great breakfast buffet, good coffee, extremely helpful personal, bike rental free of charge. 1 min walk from harbor/ 4 min to sandy beach. Wonderful stay, would always return and recommend strongly.

Excellent motel half a block from the beach. Room was small (king bed) but it had everything you would need. Room and property was extremely clean and staff was very hospitable. Easy walk to the pier and beyond. Free bike use made our stay lots of fun. No pool or spa but who cares? Beach is so close. Breakfast includes mostly cold items and a few things to heat in the microwave....breakfast sandwich and burrito. Would definitely stay here again!

It’s a cozy motel property with parking right in front of your room. I was on a business trip and when I told my colleague I booked us at a Motel, he said “whoa?” He was very happy with the stay. Both of our rooms were clean and remodeled. I will definitely be staying there again!

The staff was phenomenal and so helpful and polite beyond what we have received elsewhere. We were so impressed with the easy conversation and helpful tips for dining and Venturing out in Santa Barbara. I will be sending a personalized card with notes specific to those who helped us. Our favorite moment was taking the beach cruisers out and enjoying the morning g views and all the people we met while doing it. Breakfast was superb delicious baked items and such a variety of choices from eggs to fruit and more. We will be referring your motel to our Irene’s and family for future vacation stays

We had a great stay at Marina Beach Motel. Parking was included and fantastically convenient. We parked our car right in front of the room. We took out free bikes one day which was very fun. The neighborhood is super cute and you are just one block from the ocean. The room was very tidy and had a little kitchen. It just could have been cleaned better. There was a bit of stickiness on the floor, but nothing to deter you from staying. Free breakfast is nice but very basic. Overall a great time and very reasonable with convenient free parking, breakfast and lovely location.

Love this cute remodeled motel. Everything was perfect except the walls are thin. It was quiet at night and in the morning (presumably when everyone is still sleeping) but during the day you can hear your neighbors.

Absolutely book this place. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is excellent- just a few walkable blocks from the beach or State St. We absolutely loved the size of the room and how comfortable the bed was. And I was obsessed with the shower- it had dual shower heads, amazing pressure and got so hot. I’m very particular about hotel showers because sometimes they just suck but this was probably the best shower I’ve ever had. We would and will come back here again!

Overall, the Marina Beach Motel is a very nice facility. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a short quarter block walk to the beach, from there you can be at the marina or pier in just a hand full of blocks (either right or left respectively). Our only complaint is that the sound isolation between the motel room is poor. If you have a noisy child in the next door room, or is the guest plays the TV at listening levels; you will hear it (we had both next to us).

Nice hotel and the staff were friendly. The room was not large but nicely appointed and laid out. I liked the fact that there's a microwave, mini-frig, and coffee maker in room. The room appeared to have been updated and was clean. The bed was comfortable. My only minor complaint is that the pillows were a little too firm. Love the location near the beach and that the hotel offers free bike loaners. Overall, very enjoyable stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We absolutely loved our stay at this very sweet motel! The room was lovely and comfortable and we were happy and surprised that we received an upgrade. I have stayed at many places throughout the years and I have to say that this place was probably the cleanest hotel or motel I had ever stayed in. The breakfast was lovely and plenty and it was so nice to have pastries from a local bakery. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Staff were so friendly and accommodating. My daughter and I took the train into Santa Barbara at 10am and even though check-in wasn’t until 3pm we were able to leave our bags and utilize the free bike rentals to explore around State Street and Stearns Wharf until our room was ready. Then we were greeted with fresh baked chocolate chip cookies at check-in. The room was nice! It was the perfect stay!

Great choice if you want to be close to the pier and shops and restaurants along Cabrillo Blvd. It's dog friendly which is why we selected it and the dogs loved being close to the Beach. The room was very nice, clean and the bed was comfortable. Wish the bathroom was larger but it's a minor complaint. Will stay again for sure

Everything was fine. Did not realize there were no pool facilities. Very crowded with families and limited parking. Had to park on the street Breakfast was fine and coffee and juice were good but eggs were a microwave only option

This was the best Motel experience I've probably ever had - simple and affordable, with just the right amount of extras that set it apart from the rest. Friendly staff, excellent customer service, very clean rooms with lots of little upgrades above the normal motel experience including dual shower heads in the bath with a rainfall option. Free parking and located just a few minutes walk from the waterfront and Stearn's Wharf. They also offer free bikes for the day, to get around to the further out locations of downtown and beyond. Breakfast was simple but delicious with the highlight being fresh baked pastries from a local bakery. All in all this was a wonderful experience and made our first trip to Santa Barbara even better. Can't wait to stay here again the next time we visit!

The staff at Marina Beach Motel were very friendly and helpful. Well maintained property. Nice, clean room with lovely furnishings and an amazing shower! They had a good selection at the continental breakfast including microwaveable burritos and croissant sandwiches, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, cereal, and pastries. Very close to State Street shops/restaurants, beaches, and Stearn’s Wharf. Would stay here again!
