Great location near train and water taxi access. Easy walk to all sites. Hotel is old but charming. No elevator. Noisy at night requiring us to keep windows closed.

Charming hotel in a great location, with some rooms overlooking a garden, making them especially quiet — a nice bonus in Venice, where nights can be noisy. Conveniently close to the main train station, which is ideal if you’re traveling with a wheeled suitcase.

What an elegant, beautiful room in a prime location in Venice! I was just looking for a "cheap" hotel close enough to P.le Roma to catch the REALLY early (4:40 am) bus to the airport. I was THRILLED to find this gorgeous little spot just across the first bridge. Finding it was an issue, as I circled the building before seeing the "hidden" doorway with the street number (always tricky in Venice, but, thanks to google, I knew it was on the main street). Warm welcome from the dear lady who let me in, showed me around, insisted on taking my picture in the room and on the balcony, and put LOTS of "carmellos" (candies) on the tops of wine glasses and other strategic spots around the room. There was free water, soft drinks and sparkling wine in the refrigerator, a great king bed with plump pillows, terrific shower (heated towel rack), plentiful nice wooden hangers in the 2 closets, safe and all that. Damask on the walls and bed, beautiful wood paneling everywhere. Really, this was a stunning room. I have been to Venice at least 2 dozen times. I will DEFINITELY look to book at this hotel on my next trip.

Clean and comfortable. Perfect location - very near jewish ghetto, as well as near boat stops. Make sure to close shutters to keep out noise if busy time at night-- we were there carnival time and didnt realise that until morning. Big plus was that we could keep the luggage there until later in day and fetch before heading to airport. Highly recommend

Extremely unprofessional treatment and very disappointing stay. I am truly disappointed with my experience at this property, and I feel obligated to share what happened so that future guests are aware. The hotel has no elevator, which is extremely inconvenient when traveling with luggage, difficult and unsafe to carry heavy bags up and down. The most shocking and unacceptable part of my stay happened at checkout. Although checkout time is at 11:00 AM, I returned to my room around 11:30 AM and found that a staff member had entered my room without permission, moved my luggage, stripped the bed, and then spoke to me in a hostil manner. As a woman traveling alone, this made me feel extremely uncomfortable and disrespected. There is absolutely no justification for entering a guest’s room without consent, touching their personal belongings, and treating them with hostility. This experience left me feeling unsafe, unwelcome, and very distressed. I have traveled extensively and have never encountered such unprofessional behavior from hotel staff. I cannot recommend this property under any circumstances.
