A wonderful place to stay. Room was comfy and spacious. Modern rooms. Building was elegant inside with unusual staircases. No elevator. Restaurant attached was excellent for breakfast and hotel gave coupon for 15% off. Great location close to Hop on Hop off bus and Frontenac Hotel. Such great service! We had help with our suitcases. Staff very friendly. Thanks for a great time.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of the Old City. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and clean, the beds comfortable, the bathrooms and showers are wonderful. They do not have parking on premises so check in can be a bit tricky if you have a car however public parking is within a 5 minute walk. If you’re looking for a place in the heart of the action then this is the place for you.

Lovely place, friendly staff, great central location but not noisy, incredible shower with excellent water pressure. Definitely recommend! Only note is parking is offsite, about a 3-minute walk away. The listing showed both onsite and offsite parking.

The location was just perfect. Nice to hear the Morning and Evening Bells of Notre Dame. Checkin and checkout was truly awesome. The staff assisted us with our luggages. There are no elevators just stairs in this Hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was nice to wake up to a nice Nespresso coffee in our room. The Staff is truly what made our mini vacation a welcome one.

Great option for a stay in old Quebec City. Good location opposite the Chateau Frontenac. Good for walking anywhere to sight see. Only improvements would be more convenient parking and an elevator. But staff were great and very accommodating. Very enjoyable stay and would recommend.

Nice hotel in a great location right in the main square. Everything was as expected and daily housekeeping was available on request, there was however, a persistent and unpleasant smell coming from the drain in the shower, otherwise the staff were friendly and approachable

Very good location and it is in the middle of everything. Area is very safe with tons of restaurant and nice boutiques. Restaurant in the building is very good. Room is newly renovated and very clean. Bathroom shower has good pressure and hot water works! Public parking is underground and a 4 minute walk. Very reasonable parking fee. We highly recommend and will stay here again.

Room 24, over the restaurant. Lovely view of Frontenac Hotel but seems kitchen plays music while prepping and cooking cleaning. Went from 6 am until 10 pm. Thumping base coming up thru the floor. Not great for lounging in bed on a Sunday morning or those who go to sleep early. Otherwise a nice stay.

You could not ask for a better location if you want to be close to the Chantelle front and the boardwalk overlooking the same. The bar in front of the restaurant also had excellent food. In addition, right across from the hotel is the hop on hop off bus stop, decide hotel is tourism info as well as an artisan market. The only complaint I have is that the room we received ahead of you, looking onto the roof and was obstructed by Exterior emergency staircases so we could not see anything. In the end, it did not matter because we spent all of our time exploring the city. The photos below show a view from the front entrance.

We loved this small hotel. We had a king suite overlooking the circle park in front of the hotel. We could walk to everything in historic Quebec City. And the best part, there was an amazing restaurant/bar called 1640 on the first level. You must try their breakfast.

The location was amazing and the hotel was clean. It was a bit bare-bone with no water boiler, for a cup of tea, and strangely the bathroom’s door was in glass. It was not see through, but it was easy to see somebody inside. Wondering about the choice of such a door.

Very nice. Hard to get luggage up stairs , tiny bathroom and noise from the kitchen below us, probably washing pots. Also out 1 window looked out on the duct work for the restaurant. I assume other rooms were better. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

We had a wonderful one-night stay at Auberge du Trésor after our cruise. The location could not be better—right in the heart of Old Quebec, steps from all the sights. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, with a very comfortable bed, a large bathroom, and thoughtful extras like a Nespresso machine. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only small issue was some wind noise through the window at night, which was easily fixed by leaving the window slightly open. Overall, a charming hotel with excellent comfort and service. We would happily stay here again on our next visit to Quebec City.

The hotel is excellent for budget minded travellers, ideally located just across from Chateau Frontenac. My room was nicely but sparsely furnished. I was in Quebec for business and definitely not in the right hotel: no lift, no desk in my room, no breaktfast. The reception is often deserted because they only have one receptionist for 2 hotels and he/she has to come over from the other hotel to attend you. The receptionists were very helpful but it just happened to be the wrong hotel for a business traveller.

Stephan makes this place special. We were there for 3 nights and he took great care of us. He made us as guests feel good with his smile and his upbeat personality. The hotel is in the best location for upper and lower portions of the old city. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Did not find staff helpful or friendly. Keys didn’t work, was locked out of hotel. Staff who responded did not assist to resolve the problem. Never anyone at front desk. Two emails indicated there was coffee at the front desk, there was not. While some building in older or historic neighborhoods have elevators, this one does not and stairways are multiple and narrow and curved. Staff does not offer assistance in any way. Parking is nearby but the ability to safely park to unload a vehicle is not readily available since the few parking areas out front are taken by taxis. Room was very nice, hotel very clean. We did experience excellent food and very friendly staff at the restaurant.

Location is amazing to enjoy Old Quebec City. Our room faced the street and park which was great for us. Be aware the noise from the street and evening events is audible in the room until approximately 10 to 11pm but was not a problem for us, as we expected it and enjoyed the sounds of vacationers enjoying themselves. Staff were amazing!!!

Our train arrival was delayed but they took the time to help us with our late arrival. All the staff were kind, friendly and helpful. They have a restaurant along with a bar onsite. The restaurant is popular with a great menu. They hotel staff were very knowledgeable, helping with our questions about getting around to all the sites. This hotel was truly one of the highlights in our visit to Quebec City. In the very centre of Old Quebec, it was close to historical sites, restaurants, shops etc. In fact the meal we had in the restaurant attached to the hotel was the best meal we had on our visit. The hotel itself is very old, attractive and incredibly well preserved. The decor and furniture in the hallways and in our room was very tasteful and the room was comfortable, a good size and well equipped. The staff in the hotel and restaurant were friendly and accommodating. One of the bonuses of our stay was the great music that was played inside the restaurant and out on the street. Surprisingly, even though we had a street-front room and there was lots of activity in the street, the room was almost soundproof. (I would suggest calling the hotel direct for descriptions of other rooms in the hotel as it appears that there may be some interesting choices). Our stay at the AubergeTresor was wonderful and we would highly recommend it and a visit to Old Quebec.
